Sunday came earlier than Rebecca had thought it would. She'd spend most of her time at beach, making new acquaintances.

Today was a bit cloudy, she sat down at the room hall reading a magazine Sophia had gifted her. A fashion magazine with Zavanni's work in them, she was meant to be getting ready for the wedding.

The wedding Sophia had invited her to when they first met at the airport. Jessy Morgan was Sophia's half sister, they were best friends before like Sophia had told her, but things happened. She didn't tell her the reason they broke off and it wasn't her place to find out.

Rebecca knew she too has foe matters to settle down but her shoulders had rowed higher than everyone would have thought. The pride she'd gotten from her mother still lives within her, more like an habit.

Her mother, someone she would love to see or know about before she dies. Rebecca wasn't allowed to know more than she knew of her mother, her father shun all the ways leading her to finding the truth about her mother.

Not to lie, Rebecca knew sometimes she is scared of how father is. He holds no mercy within him, and he would do or kill whosever he likes without the authorities finding out.

But she had shown it to him, that way he'd let her be. He stopped pestering her life for a bit, she was surely glad for that.

Sophia emerged from the door, attaching their rooms together with a few or maybe, many shopping bags in her hands, with the logo of Zavanni craved on it.

Sighing deeply, Rebecca moved to where she had stood, dropping the bags at the bed edge. "I couldn't choose a perfect dress for you. I tried imagining you wearing the dresses, but my brain was not having it." She dropped on the bed tiredly.

"I am not the picky type, but let's see what you have here." Rebecca squealed.

Rebecca tried on almost all the attires, until one got her attention. A black, off shoulders mini corset dress, that hugged her curves in the right places, with a thigh high split that showcased her tan skin.

"This is the one." She said, coming out of the dressing room. A gasp left Sophia's mouth, it might seem a lie but she'd never see someone that rocked the corset dress like Rebecca did.

"You look more beautiful on the runway." Sophia told her, passing her the nude shoe she'd purchased. The wedding was in an hour, down town.

Sophia had booked a resort room for them, they'd stay there to till after wedding and then they will come back the next day. "Thank you." Rebecca smiled shyly.

After getting ready, they left for downtown with a Mini Cooper, Rebecca was against it but Sophia had her ways of convincing her. She couldn't say no.

Through out the drive, Rebecca's hand hanged loose out of the window, the fresh air hitting her in the face. It was a blissed moment for them.

They reached the venue, it was a small area decorated by the bride herself as Sophia had told her. Everyone in Sophia's

family has a thing for fashion.

Sophia dragged her upon reaching the venue to meet her parents, Mr and Mrs Morgan. They were nice to Rebecca, even before knowing who she was.

Later on, the event of the day started, the bride and groom walked down the aisle hand in hand. Becky felt her eyes stung, it would been her and her childhood soulmate getting married somewhere around the country but her father spoiled everything for her, her plans.

The wedding finally ended and a party followed it. Even though Rebecca was against staying, she had to. Sophia forced her to stay and she came face to face with the paparazzi.

It wasn't something she wished to had happened but it did and she had no chance at the moment.

She was later allowed to go back to the resort, she was tired. She had never stayed that long at an event, she only stays for an hour or less and then leave.

A call got directed to the room, she was hesitant to pick at first but at the end she did pick up. It was her father, she should have knew it.

He was demanding her to be back that instant or she should kiss her position in the company bye. She wouldn't want that to happen.

She has so many things to do, so many wrong to make right. Hence she won't allow him to take her down.

Booking a flight back to New York city was a bit hard for her, the server kept on restarting itself. She'd had to off her phone and then on it back countless times.

Sometimes she'd sit and wonder why her father is acting like that towards her, she was the obedient child to him. She'd do whatever he wants her to, and she'd never complain.

Until she had gotten fed up with everything. Now, he is adamant to make her life miserable. A tipsy Sophia ambled into the room, swinging a bottle of vodka at hand.

She'd never thought Sophia will be back that night, she had thought she will somewhere getting banged. She helped her on the bed.

"You know I am not completely drunk right?" Sophia giggled. Becky only nodded at her, she watched as Sophia's eyes roamed the room. "I will be going back to town tomorrow and then I head back to New York in the afternoon." She dropped.

"I thought you still have a week before resuming to work?" Sophia asked, kicking her heels aside. They were starting to kill her feet.

"Yes, but business happened. I have something to attend to and I need to take care of it before the end of the week, so I have to go back tomorrow." She lied, hoping Sophia sense nothing laced in her voice.

Rebecca is an easy puzzle to crack. "Damn, business." Sophia mumbled before collapsing on the bed.
