"What do you think she wants?" Cassie whispered, her eyes fixed on Barbie.

"I don't know, maybe you should answer to find out," Barbie suggested. Cassie nodded and picked up the call, putting it on speaker.

"Hello," Cassie spoke softly, and Barbie motioned for her to do so.

"Hey Cassie, how are you doing? How's Barbie? Are you guys free tonight?" Melody bombarded Cassie with questions, her high-pitched voice resonating from the speaker.

"Well, we're both good, and yeah, we're free tonight," Cassie replied.

"That's great! We're having a sleepover tonight, and the girls were wondering if you guys would like to join us," Melody said. Cassie put Melody on hold and turned to Barbie.

"What should I say?" Cassie whispered to Barbie.

"Well, since we're free, it wouldn't be a bad idea to go," Barbie admitted. Cassie nodded and returned to the call.

"Sure, we'll be there at 6," Cassie answered.
