Barbie and Cassie found themselves at the bustling club, surrounded by pulsating music and flashing lights. Cassie was engrossed in conversation with a group of girls, while Barbie retreated to the locker room to prepare for her performance.
As Barbie rummaged through her locker, a familiar voice called out to her. She turned her head and saw Ivy waving in her direction. Barbie greeted her with a polite smile, but she couldn't shake off a sense of unease as Ivy approached and enveloped her in a hug.
"It's been so long! How are you?" Ivy exclaimed, releasing Barbie from the embrace. Barbie felt a tinge of discomfort but managed to compose herself.
"I'm good," Barbie replied, her voice tinged with a hint of reservation.
"Are you sure?" Ivy questioned, skepticism evident in her tone.
"Yeah, I'm sure," Barbie assured her with a weak smile.
"Alright, see you on the stage then," Ivy blurted out with a peculiar tone before walking away.
