Bucky's POV
It had been a month since Emberly tried to attack Naomi in her apartment. It's almost sunrise and I was riding my motorcycle back to Avengers Tower, the street I was currently riding on was quiet since it had no cars on it.
I was deep in thought when the traffic light turned red, I only just saw it and put the brakes on and I hit the person crossing the road.
'Shit!' I yelp as I hop off my bike and rush over to the person. 'Crap! I'm so sorry…' It was Emberly! I look around and saw nobody, it seems like she's unconscious but there was blood dribbling from her eyebrow and hair. She was wearing casual black civilian clothes; I get on my bike and place Emberly in my lap. I start the bike and drive somewhere completely random.

Emberly Atlas's POV
I had an enormous headache; I slowly open my eyes and notice it's daylight. I look around and see my metal arm stuck in between two enormous boulders, I saw a man in the corner, watching me with curiosity. The man strolls towards me but stands a couple of meters away.
'Where am I?'
'In an abandoned warehouse.' He replies, no shit Sherlock.
'Why does everything look so...modern?'
'Emberly-'
'How do you know my name?' I begin to panic; the man comes over and kneels in front of me to match my eye level. I try to move away but my arm doesn't budge.
'Hey, hey.' He reassures me. 'Everything's alright, you're okay.' My breathing increases, my eyes dart around the building but the man's eyes keep looking into my eyes.
'What are you going to do to me? Are you apart of Hydra?' I mutter when I finally look back at him.
'Emberly, please listen to me.' The man finds a random chair, takes it and sits in front of me. 'My name is Bucky, I'm not a part of Hydra. They did the same thing to me.' Bucky shows me his metal arm, I could feel a bit of blood sliding down my head as it comes from my eyebrow. He reaches his non-metal arm towards me and I immediately pull away.
'I'm not going to hurt you.' He says gently, I stop moving but think for a minute before allowing him to wipe the blood away.
'Ember – can I call you that?' I look away but then nod slightly, I see a small smile appear on his face. 'What year do you think it is?'
'1940.' he sighs heavily as his smile disappears, oh shit – don't tell me.
'Ember, it's 2014.' I take a shaky breath, processing what Bucky had just said.
'What – have I – been doing – for 74 years?' I stutter, hanging my head while staring at the ground.
'Hydra took control of you, they turned you into a super-weapon.' I begin to try and get my arm free with force, Bucky places a hand on my shoulder.
'I know this is hard to process-'
'YOU THINK?!' I yell, I scared Bucky a bit but he looks at me with concern. I give up and hang my head again, I could feel Bucky's eyes upon me as I was staring at the ground. We both stayed silent for a while, Bucky took his hand off my shoulder.
'Is Naomi still here?'
'Yeah, she's been searching for you her whole life.' I chuckle lightly and shake my head, classic Naomi. I saw a smile appear on Bucky's face; a small smile appeared on my face.
'She should've forgotten about me; she should've lived a life.'
'Uh – random question, do you know Russian?'
'Yes.' We were sitting in silence again.
'Why am I here?' I mutter quietly while I look at Bucky, he doesn't answer me. What is even the time?
'I wanted to talk to you alone, they'll question where I've been but I don't care.' He looks at his watch, 7:30am.
'You'd rather waste your time here?' he shrugs but then smiles.
'Yeah.'
'How old are you?'
'102.'
'Ha! I don't find that hard to believe considering that I'm – what, 92?' I hear vehicles arrive, I begin to panic again and try to get my arm free. Bucky notices as well and lifts the enormous boulder that's pinning my arm down.
'Quick! Run! Get yourself out of here!' I just sprint away without questions.
