Chapter 16: Game Meeting Part 1; Audio-Visual Room

Thursday, 17th April 2013

As Junichiro wakes up from his sleep, he remembers what he did throughout the night before. It seems that he passed out from exhaustion.

He then exercises for a bit inside his room with a 100 times push up, 100 times sit up, and 100 times squats.

It is a pity that he is unable to complete his training for immortality with a 10 km run. In this kind of rainy weather which is very common currently in Tokyo, running outside will not make you fit but just makes you catch a cold.

Junichirou can't help but protest for this frequent rainy weather despite it being spring season in Japan right now.

'A rainy spring huh? Looks like global warming and climate change are very prominent for Earth in this multiverse.' Junichiro thought as he cleaned up his sweat and prepared for school.

After he finishes preparing, he then goes downstairs to cook his breakfast and lunch box.

After day two, he realizes that buying food in the canteen will waste more of his time researching technologies when it is break or lunchtime, making him resort to bringing his own lunch.

After cooking for a while, it seems that Mafuyu finally went down from her room. Junichiro then asked her to have breakfast together as both of them quickly finished it.

"Do you want to go with me by car to school?" Mafuyu asked, seeing the rain outside the house.

Junichiro thought for a while before he agreed since walking in the rain with an umbrella was not a pleasant experience if you need to do it every day.

Though, this also let him realize that he should also own a personal car after he is of age if the weather in Japan will not change for a long time.

It would be a hassle to use the bus and train in this kind of weather since you still need to walk in the rain between stations.

The predecessor just became 17 this early April (April 1), right a few days before he transmigrated to his body… Since 18 is the legal age of driving in Japan, he needs to wait for a year before he can get a driving license.

The short journey with the car was over and Kirisu Mafuyu went to report early in the morning. Although she is a little lazy in her daily life and does not even know how to clean up her house, she still exercises strict self-discipline.

"Well well well, looks like Kurisutina goes to school early as usual," Junichiro responded with his usual answer.

"Not with TINA! Forget it, I will stop talking to you." She said that before leaving toward her desk.

It was not for another hour before the bell rang and the class started its lessons.

The school continued its daily schedule until finally, it finished in the afternoon.

In the afternoon...

Junichiro did not leave the school directly but walked towards the audio-visual classroom.

There is no way. Yesterday, he has already agreed to Tomoya's "Plea for a Lifetime".

Furthermore, he also already invited two other potential members; Akihiko and Ruri. He can't just be absent if he already invites others already right?

Walking in the hallway, a light voice sounded beside him: "Junichiro-san, good afternoon~~"

The sound is like the gentle breeze of catkins flying in March and April which is very comfortable. However, it is not sufficiently recognized by him.

Junichiro turned his head to look at the bob-headed girl who had walked around at some unknown time,

"Ah… Kato-san, good afternoon." Said Junichiro as he finally remember her.

She has short black hair and a figure that is neither tall nor short and neither fat nor thin. She looks unremarkable at first glance even while wearing this school uniform that is already eye-catching. Though in fact, she is a master-level assassin with her own invisibility halo.

'Looks like Kato-san is still activating her stealth skill as usual.' Junichirou thought.

Though what is very surprising to him is because his <Synesthesia> doesn't pick up anything!

While unlocking it consumes lots of energy, it doesn't cost much to activate and maintain it. Hence, Junichiro has already activated this ability to see smell as a color since morning and it gives a new world experience for him.

But Kato in front of him doesn't give out any color from her smell! She is invisible in sight, sound, and even smell!

Junichiro decides to ignore this matter as he asks Kato "Going to the audio-visual classroom?".

"Well, because Tomoya-san sent me a lot of messages yesterday, I always feel that it would be cruel to refuse." Kato tilted her head and said in a light and bland tone,

"Anyway, I have not participated in any club. I don't have a part-time job, my academic performance is average, I don't have a university where I am desperately trying to apply, and occasionally I just want to participate in club activities," said her as she continued her explanation.

Unless there is someone with the same capability as you, I Junichirou give you the title of the strongest!' Junichiro thought jokingly

Well, fully understandable.

Her invisibility halo is a passive halo, which is the same as a continuously plug-in cheat and she as a player does not even need to pay.

If Kato Megumi participates in club activities, it is very easy to be ignored, and the others will probably even forget to notify her to participate in the activity…

"Junichiro-san seems to be thinking bad things about me?"

While speaking with Kato, Junichiro finally reached the audio-visual classroom on the third floor.

By the way, the audio-visual classroom is not a club room. Game clubs like this are actually wild clubs. There are no teachers as instructors, and the school will not approve any activity funds.

This is unlike his Futuristic Gadget Research Club. Although the club is similar to the science club and normally would be very hard to be approved, the school easily approves of his club with activity funds since this club hosts many genius students.

This is the privilege of being a genius in this school… Who is the instructor you ask? It is a secret for now, ehe!

Anyway, the main reason for Tomoya using audiovisual classrooms after school is that he also helped to adjust the equipment of audiovisual classrooms. Hence, he can sometimes get some convenience from the teacher.

When Aragaki Junichiro and Kato Megumi opened the door and entered, there were no other people in the classroom. Not only the senior sister Utaha and Eriri are not here, but even the working madman Tomoya did not come.

"Well, let's sit down for a while." Junichiro randomly found a place to sit down.

"Nnn" Kato-san answered lightly and sat on one of the chairs.

After the humble Kato-san sat down, she quietly played with her mobile phone there without any intention to speak.

Junichiro glanced at it, and it seemed that it is just some news from the fashion magazines. It seemed that Kato-san is not uninterested in everything.

While thinking that, the door is pushed open again, and a blonde girl with two ponytails walks in.

After Eriri came in, she saw that only Junichiro was in this room, and her good mood suddenly disappeared(she can't see what is invisible[Kato]).

What? They have only known each other for less than two days(meeting time), so how can she have a happy conversation with him?

Junichiro said hello: "Sawamura-san, good afternoon."

Kasumigaoka Utaha squinted her eyes slightly, and her burgundy eyes swept across Junichiro and Kato. She then passed Eriri, and walked directly to Junichiro's other side, and sat down in front of him.

She then said this directly to you

"Omae wa mou ...."
