The lights were off, Gray didn't care. He did it. He made it into the reactor. The dark gray concrete walls and black glistening metal further deepened the darkness of the room, making it near impossible to see.
He realised, however, that he wasn't the only one in there. Not only that but, he recognised them. There were 33 or so perpetrators in special black and brown suits.
They all had an easily recognisable aura. That of a King / Queen class.
He furrowed his eyebrows as his golden eyes gleamed in the dark every so slightly before disappearing as fast as it came.
Some might wonder why there were so many, it's simple. King Class was actually quite common with Beastmen and Humans, it was above that which is seemingly unobtainable.
Gray looked around, trying to find a good place to hide instead of the stupid vent he was in. An 11 year old body was not fit for this no matter what anyone said.
However, he was thankful that he was short around this time since it allowed him to do this.
Scanning the room inquisitively, Gray found a crate that would (probably) fit him inside. The only problem was that it was mechanically operated and would make a lot of noise and would grab the attention of the people there.
With the iconic lightbulb above Gray, he turned towards the panel with the lighting controls and concocted a makeshift plan with as many holes as a block of anime cheese. (AN: A few hundred or so.)
Gray waited until the one he was monitoring turned. He moved the vent outside and flipped it in the middle of the air before turning 180°, his body, however, wasn't suited to this. He didn't have the 76% control over his body that he did in the past. He squinted as he remembered yet another detail that emphasized his weaknesses.
He, in mid-air, made do and turned his arms and tilted his head forward, leaning towards the vent and slamming it on quickly.
This, of course, made a lot of noise.
A man was there a few seconds later, seeing a 'metal doll' amongst others and said.
"*sigh* It was just something falling."
A shout came. "If there's someone there later that we find, Henry, you'll be killed!"
Out of frustration, the man named Henry kicked a random metal doll and it shattered against the wall.
That metal doll was right below Gray, who got cut slightly by the metal and he stealthily hid his cut before the smell wafted too far.
After Henry left, Gray sprinted towards the panel, triggering it with a quick bolt of lightning.
He intended to just turn the lights on but he underestimated his 'previous' life's habits. His lightning was already more potent than others of the same level. The entire Reactor Bay lit up like a torch and even some machines started up.
Although annoyed at the failure to control, Gray sprinted towards the crate while the people were 'distracted'.
By the time he made it inside the crate and safe, he realised his blood probably splattered and his stupidity made him feel and inexplicable urge to shout profanities at himself.
But, no-one came.
Not because they didn't notice. With Gray being a blithering idiot, how could they not!? No, they decided that since he'd die in the explosion anyway, it wouldn't matter. They could all sense his weakness.
They continued setting up the bombs and cutting the necessary wires and as they were preparing, they all heard a massive sound.
The sound was that of a door being shot off its hinges.
*BOOM* *Clang* *Clang*
The door bounced several times before coming to a halt. The only reason they didn't immediately run towards the door was because of two familiar auras.
That of a Nagi and a Guardian.
It was Sebastian and the Nagi from before.
Gray obviously recognised them. They, after all, were his parents.

The Nagi spoke in her alluring voice as her shimmering snake eyes glowed with a slight but suffocating bloodlust.
"Now, now, now. Where's the welcoming party?"
The leader paled and shouted.
"SHIT, BLOW IT UP!"
Sebastian arrived at the button almost instantly.
Almost.
The person had time to press the button and grab the wires only to be punched. That punch launched the person across the bay and they hit tons of crates, only to smile while lifting up their hand holding broken wires.
The Nagi facepalmed and spoke with a severely irritated tone.
"Lunk of metal."
It was at this moment,
Sebastian knew,
He fucked up.
"Now you get to go through the painful plan!"
The Nagi shouted as the other perpetrators collapsed, breathing their last.
The next hour was spent with an old man screaming his ass off.
Gray, in that time, left before they 'noticed' him.

\...Shut up you hypocri-\ Novel Resuming (Author's Orders)\
Gray made his way to the residential zone peacefully through self-hypnosis and his air-head attitude. Eventually, through arduous (AN: really?) \Shut Up.\ hours of walking, Gray made it to his room.
The room itself was relaxing, it was around 100 square feet and had multiple pieces of furniture around the room.
It was decorated, mainly, with several plushies.
Yes, plushies.
Gray's plushies.
Normally, he wouldn't even bother taking them out in broad daylight, however, Laine was his roommate.
So he didn't really give a shit.
Laine knew already after all.
As soon as he walked in, Laine was intrigued. All because of the smell of blood on Gray.
"Where the hell did you go, to the fighting arena? No, you wouldn't bleed there. The residential area gangs? No, you're not that stupid. Ah! It was the café wasn't it? You probably cut yourself cutting pizza like the klutz you are. I don't really get why you like Pizza so much though, I think it's terrible."
Now, keep in mind that, when Laine spoke. He was ranting. Laine never had conscious control over his rants.
Nonetheless, it got an extreme reaction from the other side.
Gray's hair began to flow in the air as it slowly vibrated faster.
His golden eyes were glowing with fury as he stared, ready to kill Laine.
