The professor - Aw poor boy don't worry your memories of the earth will fade within 24 to 48 hours soon remember?

The professor - So you don't remember anything (sighs). Listen Ed Human brain has a Limit to store data in our brains. When you use the abyss to live a full elongated life you basically experience a whole life time's worth memories & data and learn many new things in only 30 minutes.
Thus your brain won't be able to take anymore load and new data further, therefore the Abyss makes it look like a temporary data and thus the memories starts to fade away once you come back to real world.
Edward - Understood professor but--

Friend - (Raised his hands as if he woke from a nap) Hey Edward! Woked up already?
The professor - Welcome back Gray! Had a nice adventure didn't you!

After that soon Gray And Edward left for their home. As soon as they stepped outside Ed was surprised looking at the beautiful greenary with the Tangy light of the sunset and the beautiful smell of flowers and win blowing towards them.
