2 The Warmth of Familiarity

After the shocking things and the encounter with The Great Dragon Edward was already stunned but finally he takes a deep breath and decides to go inside his home knowing he doesn't remember anything or anyone but hoping to remember everything soon.

He walks at the door and goes inside,as he sees a lady who looked at him and smiles. So you're back Ed.

Edward immediately feels a warm feeling he can't explain inside him and realise its his mother.

Edward - Well good evening mom.

Edward's Mother rush towards him and hugs him finally seeing his Son smiling and being cheerful yet confused.

She asks Ed how was the Abyss and if he found out what he went for there. Edward tells her that he don't exactly remember the things that happened before he went there but the Professor said that the things will get better within 48 hours its just the side effect of the Abyss I think.

Edward Moms gives him a hug and Says. Well dont panic Eddy everything will be alright before the day after tomorrow. Lets have dinner now.

*Edward's Mom in her mind* "I sensed he was changed but to think thats what happened. I pray he gets better soon"

Ed goes to his room where he Sees a bed, a table, Chair, Calendar, an alarm clock, some books and a Cloth wardrobe. While looking at the alarm clock Ed remembers a clock he saw in the Hall. He ignores it thinking he'll ask about it later.

He goes for a bath and then to the Dinning Table where he sees his brother Clark.

Clark asks his mom if Dad is joining them for dinner tonight to which she replies probably no He's still out of the city for work. Edward acts surprised when he see the food knowing he never saw something like that before.He still remember about the food in the Abyss Earth but this was something different.

Everyone thanks for the food to the Nature and eats. Ed little brother who's just a class(grade) below him asks if everything was alright to which he tells everything. Clark is now worried about his brother and asks if His power's are enhanced and if he's going to the Academy starting tommorow. His mom interrupts him and tells him that he's not going for he is in no shape to go for the academy lessons. Ed tells everyone that he's going to the academy tommorow to which everyone gets stunned yet happy at the same time. Ed doesn't really understood the reason of their reaction but decides to go with it.

After the dinner Ed goes to his room to sleep where in the way he sees that clock again. He goes to his mom and asks about that Old looking Wall clock he felt something unusual with. His mom tells him that its in our house for generations now and he used to stare at the watch and like it a lot since he was a child.

Ed then heads towards his room. *Ed's Mom in her mind* He has changed drastically in just a day. May the Nature force guide him throughout the way I pray thee. And says Ed to get ready for tommorow morning at 8 for Academy. Ed replies sure mom and Head towards his room after saying goodnight.

*Edward enters his room* he goes toward the table to check out the alarm clock and to set the time for tommorow and sets the alarm for tommorow. He see the books on his table,but something caught his eye. Yes it was the drawer. Ed decides to open it where he found a diary.

He opens the diary and saw many pages written already and realises its his personal diary. But after looking the no. of pages in it he decides to leave it in the drawer again and go to sleep being unknown to the fact what the academy and tommorow has to offer him.
