The man of mystery

I was screaming. When I opened my eyes, I was screaming and Xavier had to hold me down. For a moment I couldn't even remember what happened or why I was screaming. It was a little embarrassing considering that everyone was there.

After completely regaining my consciousness, I wanted to crawl and hide under the covers of my bed. However, I can't do that. That would only put me in more embarrassment. So, instead, I just covered my face using my hands. At this point, it was too late for me to save any amount of dignity.

"Please stop staring," I begged still feeling everyone's eyes lingering on me. I refused to look at any of them. 

My heart was still racing. Slowly, the events of what happened before I got here came back, reminding me of the 'eventful' meeting I had with the man of mystery.
