Chapter no.96 Spiritual Earth Flame

The ground beneath was broken as vines grew revealing the titanic corpse of an Earth Crystal Wyvern .

An extremely light brown scaly body filled with crystal protrusions . It's two front wings looked like they had been ripped out .

Xander paused as he felt traces of the Law of Metal exuding out of the corpse . That could only mean one thing , this wyvern was killed recently but what kind of creature had the ability to physical tear off the wings of a dragon which could utilize the law of metal .

" Shishishishishishi "

Xander and pandora stopped as they felt an extremely powerful presence .... from below .

The entire terrain was blown open by a greyish brown flame as a silhouette flashed through the hole in the ground .

( ~ Thud ~ )

Standing on the golden staff was the King of the Spirit Gulf as a humanoid demon beast wearing exquisite gold and red armour could be seen . Like a king it wore a crown as it's majestic golden hair waved side to side .

Zhu Feng , a demon beasts possessing the blood of the Ancient Demon beast Vanara grinned while gazing at Xander and pandora who were floating in the air .

" You ! " Zhu Feng pointed at the two Spiritual Gods .

" Fight me ! "

Startled by the ancient demon beasts proclamation , Xander and pandora paused as they felt the aura of Zhu Feng . Even though it didn't have a trace of the power of Law , both pandora and Xander felt a huge threat from the king .

Glancing at one another , they nodded as Pandora moved forward .

Zhu Feng's grin faltered as he exclaimed ," Come one you don't have to come at this king one at a time. That would be too boring , both of you come at me so I can kill you both at the same time ."

Jumping from his golden staff , Zhu Feng grasped his weapon and twirled it around as the greyish brown flames seemed to have been absorbed into the staff .

Pandora's eyes widened as he immediately deduced from the accumulation of attributed Earth , fire and Yang soul force that harmoniously flowed in that flame .... those flames were a type of Spiritual Fire .

Waving his hands in a quick slashing motion , pandora's eyes glowed with the Law of Death .

( ~Whoosh ~ )

The Law of Death took the shape of bone projectiles as they sped towards Zhu Feng who just gripped his staff and twirled . In one swift motions the Spiritual Earth Flames had incinerated the bone projectiles .

Zhu Feng huffed as his figure disappeared under pandora's cold eyes .

Appearing right infront of pandora , Zhu Feng's fist met little to no resistance as it caved in pandora's chest.

Pandora's body broke into a hundreds of crows as Zhu Feng was left dumbfounded thinking that he had won .

All the crows began to circle around Zhu Feng who looked at them with interest as the crows began to emit a glow and before he could even react the crows exploded into sphere of darkness made out of the Law of Death .

On the ground the feathers of the crows merged together into pandora .

Looking upto the sphere of darkness , pandora clenched his hands as the entire sphere of darkness was riddled with giant bone spikes .

Despite this , pandora didn't let his guard down as he knew that his attack had done little to no damage to the monstrous physique of Zhu Feng which was comparable to a Heavenly Fate Fighters rank . Zhu Feng not only had his ancient bloodline but also the help of the Spiritual Earth flame which could temper the body to an unimaginable degree for the people of the Tiny World .

The sphere of darkness exploded in a show of light as Zhu Feng emerged with not even a scratch on his body .

( ~ Thud ~ )

( ~ Whoosh ~ )

In one swift motion , Zhu Feng was infront of pandora as the grin on his face showed his passion for the art of battle and his excitement to finally meet an opponent that could fight him on an equal playing field .

Pandora's right fist glowed green as he met Zhu Feng in a physical brawl .

Fist met Fist , flesh met flesh .

( ~ Boom ~ )

Pandora's muscles spasmed as his physical body couldn't contend with Zhu Feng but pandora had other tricks up his sleeve .

Revealing that his left hand had converted into a talon , pandora swung his hands at extremely high speeds .

Zhu Feng lowered his head as a wave of the law of death emerged from pandora's talent but all of this was just a mere distraction as pandora's right hand opened to show a jade bead .

At point blank range , pandora released a beam of green that enveloped Zhu Feng's upper torso .

" Shishishishishishi , Yes , YEs , YES !! "

Pandora's eyes widened as he saw Zhu Feng walk through his beam attack and place both his fist on his chest .

With both his fists right in front of the target to focus his physical strength to launch a devastating shock wave in a forward direction.

" Emperor's Fist : Convergence " Zhu Feng exclaimed the name of his most powerful attack .

The burst was reminiscent of a shockwave released in the form of a concentrated beam of air seen from the back that was capable of bypassing the defenses of pandora .

( A.N : Imagine this )

The dust cleared showing a hole the size of a giant watermelon blown start through Pandora's chest who fell to the ground .

Zhu Feng satisfied with the fight turned to look for Xander found himself wondering .

' Was it always this empty ? '

The entire battlefield that was once riddled with corpses and artifacts was now clean .

Zhu Feng quest to find Xander didn't take too long as Xander himself was seen walking towards him .

Zhu Feng grinned at Xander , thinking that his opponent would be furious after seeing the corpse of his comrade and would attack him with all his might .

This was what he wanted , this was what he needed .... opponents that would make him feel alive .

Xander stopped and exclaimed ," I have cleared out all the artifacts and corpses ."

Zhu Feng was confused as to who Xander was talking but he froze as he felt it . Turning around Zhu Feng saw the shit eating grin of pandora as his entire body was enveloped in a flash of green .

The clouds twisted and turned as pandora for the first time since the fight stopped being on the defensive and limiting his powers since the fear of damaging the artifacts that his master wanted

was now gone .

The hole blown open in his chest quickly reconstructed back as he saw the dust clear revealing a slightly damaged Zhu Feng.

Pandora sighed as he knew that he had to somehow breach through that monstrous physique to kill this monster .

Opening his palm , pandora channeled the law of death as a ring formed above his hands .

Slightly turning his hands , the ring seemed to fall and be absorbed into the Earth .

Zhu Feng huffed and puffed as he the grin on his face didn't disappear rather it's showed a much more wild form of excitement .

That grin didn't falter at all as the entire terrain glowed with the Law of Death . The Spiritual Earth flame enveloped Zhu Feng's injuries as his body got much stronger then before.

The ground erupted into a forest made entirely made of bones as pandora had produced as many as ten thousand blades of bone that sprout from the earth. The speed of this attack was unbelievable as in the moment of a few seconds the entire battlefield was covered in the sea of giant bones .

In the middle of the forest , Zhu Feng cautiously looked at all the bones around him as he enveloped the Spiritual Earth Flame around him .

A greenish glow enveloped the entire forest domain of bones as under the shocked eyes of Zhu Feng his Spiritual Flame was absorbed into the sea of bones .

Zhu Feng couldn't afford to look away as his wrists were wrapped by hands moulded out of clay .

( ~ Whoosh ~ )

Before Zhu Feng even had the time to think of something another pair of clay hands wrapped around his ankles and neck .

These hands glowed the same greenish glow as the sea of bones all around him as Zhu Feng's body began to loses strength causing him to be brought to his knees .

The Forest of bones twisted to show pandora and Xander slowly walking towards Zhu Feng .

" I think master would be really pleased with this guy's soul ."

To the words of pandora , Xander just nodded .

Raising his hands , Pandora's hand shifted into a talon as the law of death wrapped around his claws .

Knowing that his death was near , Zhu Feng didn't feel scared nor did he act in a cowardly way . Zhu Feng raised his head like a king as even in the face of death , the grin on the face of the Vanara didn't falter for even a second .

He lived as a king and he would die with the pride of one.
