Hado

"Room 4052?" Manjiro asked.

"Apparently, it must be a misprint," Lavender responds, "I've never come across a room 4052 in the academy, there are only 20 rooms in total."

"You counted how many rooms there were?" Manjiro says with an odd look on his face.

"No, you idiot the rooms have numbers on them," Lavender says as she looks at a letter.

Each cadet received letters one week before the event, in order for them to train and prepare.

"I'm so ready for this!" Manjiro says as his eyes fill with flames.

"You studied?" Shita asks

Manjiros flame-filled eyes disintegrated, as he put his hands and knees to the ground.

"You seriously didn't study?" Lavender asked laughing.

"I thought it was obvious," Shita went on, "It has an exam in the title."

As the trio entered the academy, they saw the entrance was completely different from when they attended it.

Usually, the entrance room of the academy had many office desks. However this time the entrance was completely empty not even a speck of dust was left from the original design.

In the middle of the room, a chair was placed where a man sat, he had short black hair and wore a white tracksuit. On the tracksuit was a golden dragon crest.

The man stared a hole through team Kami.

Meanwhile at a cafe sat two sorcerers.

"So your team has already arrived at the academy?" Asked a female sorcerer, as she puts sugar into her tea.

"Yeah, isn't your team participating Histori?" Asked the male sorcerer.

"Yup to be honest if they didn't succeed on taking on that C rank demon mission I wouldn't have let them participate," Histori claimed as she took a sip of her tea.

"Wasn't your team also on a C rank demon mission Yoake?"

"It wasn't easy though I also heard Kami and Hado teams also took a C rank mission," Yoake remarked.

"Speaking of Hado isn't he supposed to escort the cadets at the academy today?" Histori replied.

"Yeah, I've known Hado for years and yet I still haven't figured him out," Yoake went on, "His combat ability is one of the greatest I've seen, matching that even Kami."

"Those two are really something but they never stop fighting, I've watched all 402 of their battles and the results have always been the same." Yoake chuckled.

"So?" Histori asked, "Who won?"

"Neither of them, it's always ended in a draw."

Hado gets out of his chair and walks towards team Kami, still staring a hole through them.

"By the looks of it, you must be part of team Kami?" Hado asked.

"That's… right," Lavender says nervously.

Hado's expression changes to a smile, "That's great! I thought you wouldn't make it." Hado starts running in one spot, "Hurry your the last team to arrive!"

"This guy is so weird," Manjiro thinks to himself, "He sort of reminds me of Kami sensei."

Hado leads them to the center of the room.

"Stand here and don't move," Hado says as he walks towards the stairs, he then stops and grabs a lever.

"Good luck, you'll need it especially if you come across my team," Hado then pulls the lever.

The room starts shaking as the floor started sinking down.

"Woah it's like an elevator!" Manjiro yells as they keep going down.

As they reach the ground there greeted by a single door. Which has the number 4052.

They push it open and see an empty city.

"An underground city?" Shita says.

"YOU'RE LATE!" Says a man holding a microphone "LINE UP LIKE THE REST OF THE PARTICIPANTS!"

As they all line up they notice sorcerers from different villages and people from their own.

"AS YOU CAN SEE THE FINAL TEAM HAS ARRIVED NOW I WILL EXPLAIN THE FIRST STAGE OF THESE EXAMS!"

Meanwhile, at Kenja's office, a sorcerer barges in.

"Sir the Sorcerer council have arrived and have been put in there save house!"

"That's a relief," Kenja responds.

"Also sir, lord Suna from Sabaku no Mura has arrived."

"Yo long time no see Kenja," Suna said as he enters the room.

Suna unlike Kenja was a young man in his 20s. Who like Kenja was a leader of his own village.

"Ah, Suna I presume that your squad has already arrived at the academy?"

"Yeah, I feel like this year is going to be special," Suna said with a smile on his face.
