Chapter #22

AN: This chapter reminded me why I don't put Romance into the tags of my stories... Maybe I should just write shit without harems or romance in the next book, some weirdo who never even had a girl friend shouldn't attempt such things... Oh well maybe in the next story.

That night before going to bed, Zeno showed Dana the location of the central command. This is where she will be helping them when they go out to steal shit.

After Dana got familiar with the setup they sat down and Zeno explained his plan to steal what he needed.

"So, this base works on experimental nanofibers. The things I need from this place are not something of value in the current market.

But they are highly regulated by the government, so I need Alex to get inside by consuming people with the right clearance level and load a truck and then take it out.

Dana will be hacking the security of the base with the backdoor I had planted years ago.

Meanwhile I will be hitting them while dressed like Jason from Friday the 13th after Alex leaves with the truck.

Then I will actually steal some important shit to cover our tracks." Zeno summarized the plan.

He could have had Alex wreck the place or make it explode, but first they couldn't afford to tip off Blackwatch and second this was a good opportunity for Zeno to start sharing.

"Wait, how are you going to 'hit them' when I am the one with the freaking superpowers?" Alex asked dumbfounded.

Dana was just looking at him with a serious expression. Zeno knew that was her no nonsense face.

"Well, since you guys had first hand experience when it came to supernatural bullshit. I can finally start sharing." Zeno said as he presented his arm to Alex.

"Rip off my hand." Zeno said.

"What?" Alex asked in confusion.

"Just do it." Zeno said once more.

Seeing him being serious Alex reached out and started pulling on Zeno's hand. He honestly didn't care since he could always stich it back with biomass.

"Wait... What the fuck!" Dana yelled.

Dana was about to stop them but she was a tad bit late and Zeno's hand got ripped off.

The hand immediately jumped back to Zeno's arm before reconnecting.

"Again." Zeno said.

Alex had to rip Zeno's hand three times before he could no longer do it. He noticed Zeno's wrist now had golden scales.

"In short I am a dragon with a really weird way of immortality and not even reincarnation could kill me for good at this point." Zeno sat down and looked towards his friends.

He was looking for their reactions.

"Reincarnation is real?" Dana asked.

Her expression was that of a detective that had just solved an impossible case.

"Yes it is real. Multiverse theory is correct as well." Zeno chuckled.

"How old are you?" Alex asked.

His face was a bit weird, it was a mix of wonder and slight suspicion.

"Well, that one is hard to answer but I am older than your parents. It was one of the reasons I liked to be alone, children get on my nerves." Zeno said with distaste.

Zeno didn't like children in his first life, they were loud, they broke shit, didn't listen to your words and worst of all, you couldn't just slap the shit out of them nor get angry.

Zeno had seen parents go crazy over people when others raised their voice against their child. Zeno had seen parents getting reprimanded for yelling at their child.

Zeno had no patience to deal with children the nice way, so he kept his distance and tolerated when he ran into a child. Relieving his childhood twice again was torture for him. 

Zeno didn't know if he would get used to children but even if he doesn't, he'll have his harem to raise the kids if he ever decides to make some.

"So you're not a pedophile?" Alex asked.

'It explains why he hung out with Dana until she grew up and why he now gives her the cold shoulder. My sister is safe!' Alex's paranoia worked overtime.

"No, well... Depends, since anime worlds are a thing that makes legal lolis real as well. 

I am not saying I like it, I am just saying as an immortal I will eventually do everything, including lolis." Zeno chuckled nervously.

"Bruhhh." Alex said.

"You're still going for the harem route?" Dana asked.

"Well, immortality is a lonely path. I can find ways to share it. Also it's not like I will kidnap women off the streets.

Anyway, our first business should be gathering what we need before bailing out of this world." Zeno decided that this conversation went on for too long and diverted it.

The siblings had dumbfounded looks on their faces, Zeno could guess what they were thinking.

"What? Our lives in this world are basically over. I am not going to leave you two on your own and leave.

Although it might take me some time to discover how to travel between worlds without dying first, that's something I need to worry about.

Once this is over and I leave, my future self will drop by and take you two to a safe world." Zeno explained.

While Zeno was explaining, Alex sensed his sister reaching a boiling point for some reason.

He did the smart thing and said goodnight before going back to his room.

'A different world, infinite possibilities. I can ask Zeno to drop us in a harmless place where I won't have to worry about Dana and work on my research.' Alex thought.

'Well, I too am kind of immortal, maybe I'll look into wife grooming later.' He decided, as an extreme paranoid with trust issues Alex could only feel at ease if he raised the girl himself.

Dana waited until Alex had closed his door before exploding.

"You're leaving us!?" 

"I don't have a way to bring you two at the moment."

"I am not talking about that. I am talking about dropping me and Alex to a safe world! It almost sounds like you are never coming back after that." Dana furrowed her brows.

She could guess why Zeno had been ignoring her advances for the past two years,

"I'll visit regularly but I have things to do. I can't take you two with me, it will just hinder me."

"What about your precious future harem? Are you going to put them away while you go out and do things?"

"Yes."

"Huh?"

"I mean, I am a dragon and my women are going to be my treasures. I ain't risking them by putting them on display. They will be safely locked away in a safe at as soon as possible." Zeno explained.

He could always find a way to get some sort of personal dimension to keep them safe. He could always time travel to the exact point he left them and pick them up later.

He didn't give a shit about their opinion since he wouldn't put his dick in them before they agreed to his terms.

'Consent is important, even to a dragon.' He thought.

Zeno even had a legal contract and everything, he even planned to copy the Master-Servant Contract from Shinmai Maou no Testament to make his own version.

[We can always manipulate them into agreeing, there's desperate women all across the multiverse.]

"Then why have you been ignoring me for the past four years!? I gave enough signals to land a fucking plane down."

"Forgive my honesty Dana but you're not much of a Harem material. You're narcissistic and have a gigantic ego, while we're somehow good friends. I can't see you being happy inside a harem."

"What happened to your grandma's words? What about tasting every flavor?"

"Well, we've known each other for fourteen years now, I care about you. 

If I hadn't known you for that long, I wouldn't care about your happiness and would just sleep with you." Zeno said seriously.

He didn't think his decision was wimpy, Beta or something like that, if he wants he could just mind rape her into obedience but he didn't want to do that to his friend.

Furthermore, Zeno could see Dana doing all of this due to her sense of urgency, not exactly out of love.

Zeno had been suppressing his instincts for the past four years, even the system and Ouryuu stopped fighting to help him, all because he cared about Dana.

If he wanted a bunch of mind raped women collection he could ignore all the women and get his hands on Home Essence. Using that he can just create perfect copies with the personality he wants.

There is no merit to collecting the real thing in his eyes anyway, technically all the women he will collect are going to be the copies of the originals since he doubts Merlin was the original creator.

Dana looked at Zeno with wet eyes, she didn't know whether to be angry for her opinions being disregarded or for Zeno being Zeno.

"You know what... Let's deal with this once we finish our job here and when I get you two to a safe place. I will listen to your opinions once I am sure you're not throwing yourself at me out of desperation." Zeno decided in the end.

"Fine! But don't think I would lose to your anime girls that easily. You're not getting rid of me just yet." Dana said while leaving.

"What do you think Alex?" Zeno turned to Alex's door and asked.

Alex opened the door, he was able to hear everything thanks to his enhanced senses.

"Well, I appreciate you caring about my sister. I hate the fact that she is sad because of what happened but I am also happy that you two are not a thing. It would be really uncomfortable for me if you two started sleeping." Alex said.

"Are you hoping she'll get over me and find someone else?"

"Nah, I am hoping she'll become a cat lady."

"Man, you're weird." Zeno said. 

Alex was stunned, Zeno is the weird hentai dragon, and he is the one that is weird for being overprotective!
