Fallon is on the path of revenge. She swears to take out the royal family for ruining her life and her family. When she meets the mafia lord, Karim, in an unlikely situation, they form an unlikely alliance. What happens when she infiltrates Ardenwood and begins to fall for her supposed enemy, Prince Maxwell? Since everyone has a secret to keep, Fallon, on the quest to find her stolen baby, finds herself at the center of all these lies.
Fallon didn't see or hear from Carlos until three weeks after. She had stopped working at the restaurant so she could babysit Leila fully. It hurt, because Danika deserved all the attention she was showering on Leila; but she was helpless. She needed the money.
Fallon slept over during the weekends because Mrs. Hudson was never home during the weekends. It was not yet night, but she wanted to make some cereal for Fallon so it would reduce her workload.
She bent to unplug the electric kettle from behind the kitchen island. As soon as she rose back up, she felt someone standing behind her. Muscular arms stretched out forward to open the kitchen cabinet above.
Fallon held her breath, sucking it in. When he lowered his hand, he was holding a glass cup. She made to shift to another side to give him better access to the cabinet, but he pressed her against the kitchen island instead.
Fallon let out the long suppressed air from her lungs and breathed hard. His hands came to rest on her back. Fallon turned sharply to face him.
"What do you think you're doing? You can't just come in and-"
His mouth crashed down on hers and that was it. His lips tasted like rum and coke. For a long while, since Leroy's death, she had abstained from attachments and relationships. She felt like she owed Leroy some respect, but still, it wasn't like they had been married.
Fallon clung to Carlos' shirt for support as his lips led the way. Fallon threw caution to the wind. Carlos kissed like a bad boy. His hands roamed around her body, settling on her swollen breasts. He tweaked her nipples from the thin lace bra she was wearing.
Her nipples were leaking milk, and she didn't want him to see it. She pushed him back, covering her breasts with her arms. He held her arms down and kissed her again. She gave in. What would happen anyway?
His lips trailed down her jaw, her neck and her chest. He raised her shirt up, before ripping it out from where they were safely tucked inside her pleated skirt. He tore the buttons mercilessly, and the sound of the buttons flying about seemed to excite him.
He wasted no time latching his mouth onto her now perky nipples. Fallon arched her back, wanting more, needing more. Carlos lifted her off the ground, raising the hem of her pleated skirt in the process. His hard erection pressed down on her lap.
He drew milk from her breasts and looked up at her.
"Was that….are you…?" He was clearly shocked.
Fallon nodded. He smiled mischievously and went back to her breasts. He sucked on her breasts harder this time. Fallon leaned back. She had no idea this was going to play out well.
His purposeful fingers slid up her thighs, clutching at her lace panties underneath her skirt. His mouth went back to her lips. His finger pressed down on her core, and she wrapped her legs around him; she wanted the pressure. He bent to meet her face halfway, he bit her right earlobe before whispering to her.
"I thought you were going to play hard to get." Fallon's legs slid down his clothed thighs instantly. Her senses returned, and she realized ashamedly how low below the radar she had fallen.
She pushed him away from her and jumped down the kitchen island.
"Playing holy Mary?" He asked.
"Fuck you!" Fallon cussed out aloud.
He had been kind enough to reveal himself in his animal form just before things started to go down.
"No, fuck you! What do you girls want? We were having fun just now and you just had to screw it up."
Fallon gathered her torn shirt around her chest.
"So now it's about girls? I don't know about others, but I want nothing from you! You can go screw yourself after. You're a pompous piece of shit!"
Fallon felt his hand around her throat. He ripped up what was left of her her shirt completely and held her hands up. Fallon whimpered nervously.
"Do you not realize how weak you are and how easily I can get what I want from you?" He asked condescendingly.
His patronizing attitude irritated her, and suddenly she wished she could hit herself for kissing him back in the first place.
"Let go of me, Carlos." A new found hate for him surfaced, and Fallon pushed him with all her might. Her anger at the world, her anger at the royal family, her anger at her ugly fate.
"Don't come any close to me. I'll leave the way I came and never return. And you'll keep your hands to yourself while I pack my things." The fiery red of her eyes had him backing up.
He stepped aside to let her pass. She was nothing like the girls he knew and had met. This one had a fiery temper and was untamed.
She had to leave before it got very late. She packed her things in a mad hurry and went to kiss Leila on her forehead. She had been the foolish one. If she had kept her hormones in check, she wouldn't be leaving.
Her conscience praised her for doing what was right; leaving. But the rebellious voice inside of her chastised her for chickening out. She could have just given him what he wanted and saved her job.
She left the Hudsons ville without looking back. Outside the estate, she hailed down a cab to drive her to Rudolph.
Another ride of pain. Was there anymore joy left in her to hold onto? Chica would scold her for abandoning her job. She felt like grabbing the cab man by the shoulders and asking him to drive right back to Lexington Avenue.
Mrs. Hudson was going to call later, and then she would have to explain to her that her son had harrassed her.
She no longer worked at the restaurant, it would have been a fifty fifty. She buried her head in her hands and sobbed quietly. Life was tough. And if she was going to survive, that would mean growing as tough as nails.
Chica stared at Fallon as she cried her eyes out. The girl needed comfort and some words of encouragement.
"You have to stop overthinking and relax." Chica whispered.
"There'll be no one to take care of Danika. I don't want to saddle you with my problems."
"Don't be silly, I'm not complaining. We'll talk about this after. Get some sleep, forgive yourself and believe in yourself."
