Battling Humans!

The group of five stood silently, watching the massive destruction before them. Gaia, quickly moved towards Kaori and Ayato, and began to heal all the injuries they had obtained during the combat.

Suddenly, Terra's gaze turned sharp and snapped to the left, drawing her bow and aiming it towards her left.

"I can feel your prickling gaze on my skin, reveal yourself at once." Terra's authoritative voice rang through the burning desert, the tension beginning to rise. Suddenly, the space shattered and an illusion was dispelled as a young human man, began running away.

"Nature's Grasp!" voiced Gaia as viscous vines flashed towards the young human male who was darting away. With no time to lose, the Human male was quickly grasped by Gaia's magic, and pulled towards the group.

"I AM A HUMAN PRINCE, RELEASE ME AT ONCE!" The human male shouted, leaping at Terra and taking out a dagger, slashing it her harshly, the dagger coated with deadly poison. Millimeters before the dagger arrived, the vines of the earth grasped his hand and wrapped around his body, stopping any potential movement.

The human was rather handsome, with blue hair and eyes. He had a attractive body and was rather tall at 6'1, broad shoulders and a palish face.

"Why are you on this island? And why are you spying on us, reveal it at once." Spoke Kaori, lightning flashing as she flicked her dagger, holding it near the young man's neck.

"I am Damien Fental, the prince of a human Empire, we were sent here by our Academy for training to prepare for the war with the Abyss, do not kill me." said Damien.

Saintess Terra stood in silence, watching the young prince's face change to various emotions before responding after 5 minutes, " Tie him up and take him with us, we will give him to Noctis and Ashborn who will be picking us up and they will decide what to do with him."

As Terra said, the group tied Damien up, much to his dismay, and went towards the rendezvous point.

[ DAMIEN POV FLASHBACK ]

My name is Damien Fental, the Prince of the Fental Empire, one of the largest Human Empires. Currently, I am attending Akashic Academy, the most prestigious Academy in the world. Recently, the most talented members of the younger generation from other races came to attend the academy as well, in order for us to train together in preparation for the war against the Abyss.

Currently, we had arrived at Xerath Island, an island that was used primarily for training. As we had arrived at the Island, I was put into a group with some of the most talented students from the younger generation of the Races Alliance.

There was the most well known member, Aether Valeria, the hope of humans and Apostle of Valeria, the Goddess of Light. Aether had golden hair and eyes, a feature that every Apostle of Valeria had. He was incredibly handsome, with an angular face and curly hair. He was tall, at 6'3 and had broad, upright shoulders. He was a Magic Swordsman, and his talent was immense. His elements were Light, Holy Fire, Ice and Wind. His affinity with each of these elements was perfect and with his unmatched talent in swordsmanship as well, Aether was the strongest member of the younger generation amongst the various races. However, his most natural feature was how friendly he was, able to easily become friends with others.

Then there was the Apostle of the Demon God, Demon Princess Persephone. Persephone was rather tall, at 6'6 and had blazing crimson red hair and eyes. Her body was very voluptuous, curvaceous hourglass figure with plump buttocks and perky breasts. Her distinct, crimson red hair fell down to her waist. Persephone was also incredibly talented and was a close combat battle Magic Warrior, wielding a Battle Axe. Persephone had perfect affinity to the elements of Darkness, Demon Fire and Lightning. Her combat style was incredibly all in and aggressive, but was backed up by her strong, tall body.

The Apostle of the Beast God, Vayne , was only other male Apostle aside from Aether. He was around 6'5 in height and had wolf fur covering his body, most distinctly wolf ears. Unlike others, Vayne was a barehanded close combat fighter, who used Earth and Lightning Magic alongside his powerful body to tear his enemies to shreds.

The Apostle of the Dragon Goddess was the second strongest Apostle next to Aether, named Blaze. Blaze was 5'9 and had the Human Appearance of a beautiful, late teenage lady with straight and long hair that was rainbow coloured. Her eyes were also dark blue. Her body was curvaceous and brought lots of lustful eyes her way. Blaze had a cold atmosphere that radiated from her elegant body.

In her Dragon Form, Blaze has the appearance of a rainbow coloured Western Dragon with celestial scales. Her eyes were deep gold in that form as well. Blaze had the elements of Fire, Space, Darkness, Earth and Lightning.

As for the Apostles of the Vampire Goddess and Dwarf Goddess, they didn't participate in this training event, as they focused on Enchanting and BlackSmithing respectively.

While I, Damien, was alongside this group of powerhouses, we were attacked by a group of Death Skeletons. Although we had managed to defeat them, the Death Skeletons had done considerable damage to the surrounding area, and cut me off from my teammates, forcing me to explore by myself.

As I was exploring and looking for a way to regroup with my teammates, I had heard a massive implosion occur, that shook the entire surrounding area. I had slowly approached the area and saw something that entranced me. There they were, 5 beings who's race I had never seen nor have ever heard about. They had humanoid bodies, but with longer ears, and a couple other noticeable differences to humans or any other races in humanoid forms.

But the most noticeable thing was their power. They were easily just as powerful as the strongest group of the younger generation, The Apostles of Gods, yet what made them so frightening was their magic and their teamwork. The Magical Capabilities they had were special, some of the spells they casted I had never seen nor heard about, their ability to cast multiple spells simultaneously or cast spells without chanting was something only the strongest or most talented humans could do and took lots of training. But worst, their teamwork was special. Effective but elegant, and they killed with immense efficiency.

Finally, watching that immense spell that shone down nine suns brought me back to my senses. I needed to bring this information to the others. A new race, a new but powerful race, one that could be an enemy or ally.

As I tried to run off, I was spotted, I didn't know how, I had casted a powerful illusion to protect myself and was rather far away. I tried to escape but was caught.

Seeing no way out, I activated my beacon, which signaled to my teachers and my teammates where I am. Hopefully, they would be able to save me.

Saintess Terra and her group arrived at the rendezvous point. The point was an open field, where Noctis and Ashborn would come towards them and teleport them back to Teyvat. Reaching the point, Kaori and the others sighed, thankfully getting time to rest. Unfortunately, that rest time was cut short.

Suddenly, the group of 5 darted their eyes toward the left and gripped their weapons. Walking out of the left was a group. There were 4 humanoid figures, One Human with Golden Hair, A Demon with Crimson Red Hair, A Beastman who was from the Wolf Beastman Clan and a Cold Lady with Rainbow coloured hair and eyes.

The group of five looked at the group of four, a cold atmosphere filled the area which was quickly broken by the young, golden haired human.

"I am Aether Valeria, that human you have captured is part of my group, please return him to us and we will be on our way."

Ignis, the golden haired Elf, bravely stepped forward and said," Your friend was rudely observing us during out combat and refused to step forward, running away and even attacking our Saintess when confronted, no doubt to expose us. He'll be taken back to our people to be judged for what he has done."

Aether frowned, looking at the unknown race denying his offer. He had never been so rudely spoken to and denied what he wanted. He turned to Terra, who wore the most elegant clothing and was the most respected among the other persons of that unknown race, Aether spoke to her," Humans must be judged by human judges, please return my ally or else."

Gaia, green haired Elf immediately responded, " How disgusting. He viciously attacked our Saintess with a poisoned dagger, an attempt on her life. Thus he will be brought back to be judged by our people even if we have to beat you all to bring him back."

The tension immediately grew and suddenly, Vayne, the Apostle of the Beast God, attacked.

"Kaori, make sure no-one touches that Human, we'll handle these ones here." Immediately ordered Terra as she gripped her arrow and launched a shot into the sky. Suddenly, her arrow split into dozens of arrows that flashed forward towards ground, flashes of purple coating the arrow shots. The Apostle of the Beast God, Vayne was able to use his speed and power to dodge some of the arrows, but suddenly, two arrows smashed into him and dispersed into particles. Suddenly, the earth caved in and his body felt significantly more heavy and disorderly.

"These Arrows increase your bodies Gravity. Don't get hit she's a Spacial Mage." Roared Vayne as another arrow of a different colour flashed, appearing millimeters before his face. Thankfully, Persephone appeared in front of Vayne, cutting the arrow in half using her Battle Axe, before charging forward into battle.

Blaze, the Apostle of the Dragon Goddess, moved her hand and dozens of magic spells flew forward. As a Dragon, casting spells was as simply as breathing. But it seemed she had met her match, as wrathful flames and vengeful celestial Frost clashed with her spells, smashing them instantly and flying towards Blaze who barely managed to block it with a Mana Barrier.

Meanwhile, Ayato and Vayne clashed in battle, Ayato's serene and elegant swordsmanship contrasted Vayne's ruthless and wild combat style. Unfortunately, compared to Kaori's ruthless and wild combat style that used efficiency in killing and combined a masterful use of elements to use swift and viscous attacks that left the enemies with no room to breath, constantly on the defensive. Vayne's combat style was rough and slopping, his mana use inefficient at best, and Ayato quickly began dominating the matchup. Every slash of Ayato's blade, Vayne bled more blood, and every movement, Vayne grew dizzier and dizzer. Without any room to resist, Ayato's sword glowed with a deadly but beautiful light, and he struck.

" Serene Eternity." Ayato's voice rang out, as his sword smashed into Vayne, sending him flying into the ground nearby, unconscious.

Meanwhile, Gaia found her hands filled with Persephone. As a Supportive Elven Mage who used the Light, Nature and Illusion Elements, Gaia's hands were filled with Persephone's aggressive demonic combat style. Gaia shifted between Illusion's dodging Persephone's Demonic Flames before shouting.

" EZREAL'S FURY!" Gaia said, and a green glow swept through the entire battlefield. The green glow wrapped around Gaia's Elven comrades, strengthening their power and healing their injuries.

Meanwhile, Persephone and her allies felt weakened, their power reducing and the damage they're taken increasing. Meanwhile, their natural regenerative capabilities were cut off, making them bleed more and more.

"Flames of Baal!" Roared Persephone as blue flames wrapped her Battle Axe. Persephone cut through Gaia's illusions like glass, the Vines of Nature that attempted to grip her burned to a crisp. Gaia was pushed further and further back but didn't dare give up. And as Persephone was in the middle of an attack, Gaia struck,

"Void's Illumination!" She screamed, deadly blades of light appearing and flashing towards Persephone who was in the middle of an attack. With no way to dodge, she simply charged forward, taking immense and painful damage from the swords of light.

As she finally arrived at Gaia she struck, but when the Axe slashed through Gaia's heart, the glass around reality shattered, and Persephone saw her Axe through her crush, Aether's chest. She screamed in horror, despairing and unaware of the illusion, but that was all Gaia needed as she swiftly knocked Persephone out.

The Battle Turning Lopsided!
