The next morning, classes progressed smoothly. I earned another 3 points for Slytherin in charms, and even earned a point in potions which surprised Neville, he couldn't believe that Snape would award a point to the both of us considering he is in Gryffindor. In the afternoon, the first flying classes started. Everything was going fine until Neville fell of his broom. I didn't even remember this happened until it was already over.
While Madam Hooch escorted Neville to the infirmary I glanced over at Draco. He seemed to be holding something, and then it hit me, this is the part where Harry chases after him in the air and catches the remembrall. Apparently my little showing hasn't humbled him enough to prevent him from taunting others, and because of the first rule of Slytherin I can't show any infighting between us outside the common rooms. He caught my eyes and smirked, likely realizing the same thing.
I decided letting the scene play out the same as the movies. No one really got hurt and the look on Draco's face when he figures out he's the reason Harry's the youngest seeker in a century will be priceless.
Draco threw the remembrall, and Harry chased after it and caught it right in front of Mcgonagall. As he's escorted away to be made seeker, class is dismissed. Draco is laughing about Harry getting expelled, I have to hold in my laughter as I head of to The Room of Requirement. I stop by my room to grab some parchment and a quill so that I can copy some books in case I wanted to study outside the room.
Walking up to the seventh floor, I stop in front of a wall I look back and opposite the wall is a tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. I nodded and started walking back and forth in front of the wall saying, "I need a room to train in."
Repeating the process 3 times, I was rewarded with a door appearing in the middle of the wall. As I entered the room, I noticed it was full of muggle weight training equipment. Looking over to the right showed a bookcase in the wall that held books containing spells that I'd never even heard of along with advanced duelling techniques. To the left training dummies littered the floors along with an enclosed area where on closer inspection contained a case. Entering the area I bent down and opened the case, 5 bludgers flew out and started chasing me. I dodged as best I could, which was only for about 7 seconds, until one was right in front of my face. As soon as it struck me, it was like a kill-switch went off and every bludger fell down like a rock.
'This must be an area to practice reflexes and dodging spellwork.' I thought and tinkered with the case until I saw a dial on the side the controlled how many were released at once.
The room was perfect and I started using the weights first. It was then that I realized how weak my current body was. I decided to just stick to running and push ups to start with, but I ended up only able to do 23 pushups and running continuously for about 2 minutes and 40 seconds. 'Well I guess, everyone has to start somewhere. I limped over to the bookshelf and started going through everything that was here. A couple of books weren't about spellwork surprisingly. Some were about healing and how to keep your body healthy while building muscles. But one book in particular caught my attention the most, "Rituals for the Auspicious."
Now, even though rituals are considered blood magic and outlawed by the Ministry, a lot of people forget that they were used by a lot of famous people in the past. It wouldn't even surprise me if Dumbledore had used rituals to get to the power he currently holds, even though he was one of the more powerful voices against rituals when they were passing the bill.
As I read through the book, I was amazed at how simple some of these rituals were, one was for increasing growth for the body to be in optimal condition once puberty starts, another for when you turn 13 that increases you magical core, and even one for heightened senses. Most of them needed to be done when one was older but the growth and senses one can be done immediately. Wizards and witches have 3 major magical core growths in their lifetime, one when they turn 11, one when they hit puberty which for all witches and wizards is 13, and the last one at 21 when the body is in its most powerful.
The only problem is money which, for a Malfoy wouldn't be a problem. I've been taking all the money out of my Heir account at Gringotts and moving it into a new separate account since I was young. That way it refills an entire 1,000 galleons every year. All it took was handing Dobby a letter that had my blood signed on it and Gringotts has been helping me prepare in case my Father decides to disown me. Now I'm quite a frugal person, so I have plenty of money to buy the materials for these rituals, the only problem is the rarity of some of these ingredients for the stronger rituals would require me to spend an exorbitant price down the road but I'll figure something out.
I'll have to wait and perform the growth ritual at home sense the unexplained jump in height would raise questions I couldn't really answer. But I think I can prepare the senses be whenever I get the materials. I grab my parchment and quill from my bag and start copying all the ingredients and the steps of the growth ritual. One would need Armadillo bile to foster more brain power, Re'em blood to strengthen myself, Chinese Chomping Cabbage to allow the bones to grow and harden, Dittany for my skin to grow with my bones, Dragon Liver to heal my body of the damage this will cause, Eye of an Eagle owl to improve vision, Unicorn Blood to solidify the body's growth and the rarest of all of them Nifflers Fancy which would help the body reach its full potential. I then copy down all of the ingredients I would need for the senses ritual and pack everything up.
Once i finish copying everything I go back to working out afterwords I'm exhausted and one I get to my dorm fall out into my bed.
The next morning I wake up feeling sore all over, I gained some funny looks for my terrible attitude on the way to the Great hall. Since today was Friday i don't have any classes again until Monday. I finish eating and head back to my room, I then proceeded to break up the ingredients list into 3 different pages that held about 3 ingredients each. Just by looking at it you couldn't tell what was being made with them. I then sent the list with a request for owl delivery to three different shops. I definitely don't want to be caught doing rituals it's at least a minimum of 3 years in Azkaban.
A week goes by with me visiting the Room of Requirements and the last of my ingredients finally arrived. It was a Saturday so I don't have any class the next day, so I guess today is as good a day as any. I travel back to the seventh floor and proceed to ask for a room for rituals in my mind, I realized after a couple days that you don't have to ask for something out loud for a room to appear.
A door appears and I walk into a room with a beautiful ritual alter with candles surrounding it. I draw a ritual circle in the middle of the alter and begin the ritual, placing each of the ingredients on to the corners of the pentagram, I slash a line in my palm and smear the blood on the top of the star, I start to chant the ritual words and the magic in the room flares and immense pain swarms me. My face screws up in a silent scream as blood starts flowing out of my eyes and ears. My brain throbs painfully and my body seizes. Thankfully, soon I pass out and let my body adjust to the changes.
