Planning the Story

Lukas looked at the system panel, and immediately the system opened up a blue portal, and out stepped a healing Abaddon. Immediately he bowed when he saw Lukas

"Greetings Creator."

"It's alright stand up we're in the planning phase for our villains and chosen hero."

Standing up the rest of his creations gathered around and saw down upon nothing, and simply just sat crossed-legged. Seeing this Lukas sighed and began imagining eleven chairs, one for each of them, and immediately cosmic-styled chairs appeared behind each of them. Seeing this they sat down and could feel their aching bodies relax immediately feeling the comfort of the chair.

"Alright then for the antagonist I'm thinking for four generals to act as both apostles and locks on the world."

Minerva raised her hand Lukas pointed at her, motioning for her to speak.

"Is it because Abaddon over here was "sealed" and now must use apostles to act his will on the world and once all four die he is released."

Lukas clicked his hands pointing toward Athena.

"Bingo, that is exactly correct."

"Now Abaddon I want to hear some ideas from you on how to decide each one."

Abaddon sat there thinking putting his hand on his chin, stroking trying to think of something to say.

"How about for the first one we find a downtrodden swordsman, someone yearning for more power."

"In their most desperate moment I offer him more power, and then give it to him."

"Then after enjoying it for a few days, winning constantly I hit him with the cost, they'll act as the first apostle/lock and rampage killing any or go near him and will be stationed in the south most region."

Lukas jotted all of this down in his notebook, drawing a small map of Terra and putting a sword in the south part of the continent.

"Then for the next one, we do a whole ice princess or prince thing."

"How this would come about is that we try and lead a few people to the north and have them establish a kingdom there."

"Then I put the flames of war into a nearby kingdom and have a full-blown war with the northern kingdom being weaker in both magic and military."

"Then when all hope is lost I offer the princess or prince power and absolute control over ice and snow."

"Once they drive the enemy back and win their war."

"As they celebrate their victory I'll force their powers to go out of control freezing everything in sight and for as long as they live an eternal snowstorm will rain down and she'll have to battle all who come to kill her."

Jotting all this down Lukas place a snowflake symbol on the northern part of the map.

"All right anything else?"

Abaddon went into deep thought and waved his hand.

"Get back to me."

Nodding Lukas looked at the others trying to think about who to call next. He stopped his head at Thoth.

"Thoth what should the qualifications be for becoming the chosen hero."

Hearing this Thoth closed his eyes and went into deep thought trying to come up with some qualifications for the chosen hero. Then in a deep old voice, he spoke.

"Perhaps a sword with all of our blessings, minus Abaddons can choose a person with a righteous heart."

Vulcan spoke up after hearing Thoth's proposal and in a deep booming voice, he said.

"But what definition would we give to the sword to discern "righteous" from malice?

"I suppose it could be more aligned with the word "hero" instead, a.k.a one who is willing to sacrifice themselves to save others."

Hearing this Gaia perked up and with a soft voice said.

"But who's to say they'll remain a true "hero" till they face the four apostles/locks and finally Abaddon himself."

It was Lukas who spoke next.

"Perhaps they go through various tests, one a test of strength, a test of will, and finally a test of sacrifice."

"With each test, it will determine the qualities of a hero, with strength being about facing enemies of Abaddon's past battles, will be about facing either endless enemies or various strong ones all at once and see if they still have hope to win the fight."

"Finally the test of sacrifice, meaning that whatever companions they made along the way, they'll have to face a choice one being sacrificing their friends or family, and the other being sacrificed themselves."

"After passing all three he'll be worthy of being the chosen hero."

is that all right with everyone?"

Gaia nodded happily, alongside the rest with Abaddon still thinking about the other two apostles/locks. He looked at Athena and suddenly a lightbulb went off in his head. He quickly looked at Lukas, taking his hand off his chin.

"Circling back to the other two apostles, for the western one we can have sea creature instead of a sentient creature, with it symbolizing natural disasters of the ocean that destroy lives and homes."

"The reasoning why this creature become my apostle/lock is because they've suffered at the hands of various creatures whether they be sentient or not. Now they want to become stronger than them all and accept my offer of power."

"For the final one I was thinking of something more original, and instead of being a creature naturally of this world it could be "man"-made. One such example would be a chimeric creature of some sort, something created through artificial means."

"With it accepting my power due to being too weak to escape their captors and so they accept my help and gain a massive boost in power."

Hearing all this Lukas rapidly jotted this down, putting a tornado/tsunami symbol on the western side of the map. Putting a mechanical symbol on the eastern side with a crudely drawn chimera on top of it.

"Alright, that should do for right, and going back to the chosen hero bit. Should we do something special for the companions should we do something special for them or not?"

To make up for the later chapters. Hope you enjoyed reading it.
