33: Feelings (Asher)

Saturday, December 23, 7 years before the sacrifice

Asher was laying in bed the new bed, not wanting to face the day. That was until James walked into the room.

"Why are you still in bed?" James asked

"Still tired, last-minute jobs for some quick cash," Asher answered

"For some last-minute holiday shopping?" James questioned

"Yeah," Asher said plainly

"Luckily enough I managed to get all that done a few days ago," James says

"What'd you get the girl?" Asher asked

"Clothes, shoes, that kinda thing" James answered

"Well shit," Asher says

"Can't think of anything to get her, can you?" James asked

"It would seem not," Asher replies

"I'm sure whatever you get her, she'll love it," James says

Asher was silently thing while James stepped out of the room.

"It's not her gift I'm worried about," Asher says
