Steal my Boy

When Beomgyu got abducted, everyone and their mother were in total panic. The whole city did a search and rescue for a whole week with countless volunteers yet no one ever found even the slightest trace of him. Choi Beomgyu is a 21 year old campus crush who have been within minds at least once by any type of gender in the Capital’s largest Conservatory. Tall, honey-skinned and extremely handsome, this extroverted yet hopelessly romantic and funny individual is the talk of the town ever since he transferred to the Music school after losing interest on the course his parents wanted for him. Everything went smooth for a while, until he attracted the attention of the person who will make him question his life’s decision. Note: Only the main characters descriptions are made to be realistic but the plot, events, places etc. are all fiction. The story would look confusing at first but I’ll reveal answers as chapters go by. Thank you for your patience.

Search and Rescue

Yeonjun's pov

Monday mornings just got even worse after sleeping literally an hour.

My skull is beating madly like it's about to split open and my eyes are too sore to open yet I had no choice since I had to go to work and make sure that my partner isn't obsessing much about the recent case we're working on.

Only to catch his face stuck into the computer like his life depended on it.

"Mornin'." I greeted unenthusiastically. And Taehyun returned the same energy.

"Mmn."

"Don't tell me you didn't go home to take a rest at least?" I asked although I already have a faint idea because he usually tries so hard to finish the case faster that humanly possible. "My legs are sore."

"It's the age." Taehyun simply replied.

"I'm just 3 years older than you." I retorted and shook my head.

"I'm still in my twenties-" he teased and I was about to smack him with the file on desk but he grabbed my hand and pulled me closer.

"Look!" He exclaimed as he scrolled back a recording of the security camera in the apartment of the missing person we helped look for tracks last night.

"What did you see?"

"Just shut up and watch carefully."

I scratched the back of my head since we haven't even gotten any valuable information regarding the boy even after contacting his family.

It's as if his own family have disowned him, the sole heir of a popular brand of chocolate factory and related products in the fourth largest cities in South Korea, south of the capital.

And now here we are, back to square one.

"I see nothing." I sighed as he rewinded a day long video, around the time Choi Beomgyu entered his apartment. "It's been an hour, are you seriously making me go through this again?"

"Exactly." He frowned at the screen and pushed the back of my head next to him. "Look. There's nothing because he never left his apartment. People come and go apart from our boy."

"Meaning," I could feel my eyes widening from the sudden realization.

"He's trapped inside his home!" We yelled simultaneously.

"We gotta go back to that apartment right now while the suspect has no idea we're coming." Taehyun quickly shut the computer off and organized the files back inside his desk drawer.

I grabbed our batons and proceeded downstairs.

"Hey! Where are you going?" An officer in the traffic department asked while walking down the hallway with his coffee cup.

"Catching criminals like we always do!" I yelled back while running towards the back doors.

To be continued…

Hello to my readers. I just want to thank you for giving my book a shot and for adding it into your collections. I would appreciate any kind of feedback but this is a mature book so I understand the lack of engagements.
