Chapter-7: Rescuing a Loli

3rd POV | Abandoned Parking Lot |

In an abandoned parking lot, we can see a Loli cowering behind a man with a red hanamaru and a light blue yukata hanging from his shoulder, wielding a katana against a man with a machete together with 6 more people holding impromptu weapons

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!!!" The man wearing a red hanamaru was Kanesada, as he shouted at the man after he blocked the swing of the man

The men stared in a daze, shocked at what happened suddenly...

It was until one of the men yelled at Kanesada

"Hey! Why are you protecting that Devil's child?!" One of the men shouted at him

Bam-!

Ren landed quite heavily on a rooftop as he folded his wing back, as Sajuna landed gently beside him

Sajuna, Ren, and Toka was all disgusted at what was happening here

"Why are you interfering in cleansing our world?! Kill him! He is a servant of the devil!" The leader shouted again, hell-bent on killing the Loli and Kanesada

"You two, protect the child, I'll help Kanesada" Ren said as he jumped down from the rooftop besides Kanesada

"Another one?! Hehe! Kill! Kill them all!" The leader shouted maniacally as he pointed the tip of his machete towards the Chat Group members

"Remember, our goal is to knock them out, not kill them" Ren whispered to Kanesada as he nodded and flipped his katana to use the blunt edge

Swish-! Swish-! Woosh-!

Kanesada and Ren marked the enemies they will fight, 3 for Kanesada and 4 for Ren. The inhuman speed of the two caused them to leave afterimages and blurs

Bam-! Bam-! bam-! bam-!

Ren reappeared as he sunk a right hook upon Cultist 1 (That's what they decided to name them), But that did not stop there..

"Gahaaahkk!" Cultist A groaned in pain as he involuntarily gagged

Ren barraged Cultist A with his fist, using his martial arts, he started destroying the guy with his limited strength

Bam-! bam-! bam-! Pak-! Pak-!

To the liver, to the shoulder, to the collar, to the face, and then...

Baaaamm-!

Ren hit his solar plexus knocking the wind out of him and making him fall unconcious. The mob rushed together, Ren blocked the oncoming swing and grabbed the man's hand, in a single smooth motion, Ren flipped him with Judo, throwing him over his shoulder and using his velocity against him

Baaam-! Cracckk-!

"Augh!" The man groaned as he hit the ground, and a loud crunch emanated from his shoulder

Two men rushed at Ren in a rage after seeing their friend get beaten up

"Bastard!" One man shouted as he ran to Ren

Ren elbowed him with a huge force in his stomach resulting him in flying away a few meters. Ren grabbed another man's collar as he kicked the other one in the chest two times, Ren then flipped the man easily like a wheel from his collar

Bam-!

The man fell and was promptly knocked out

"Che! Fucking bastard!"Ren sneered hatefully, one of the things that Ren hated the most was Lolis getting hurt, so when he saw the anime, he almost barged in the author's office and give him a beating, but thankfully his sister and his mom stopped him

Now to Kanesada's side

Kanesada adjusted his body to use his stance, with his sword in front f him, he was ready. Kanesada was from the Edo period where killing was quite normal and not like our organized society now

But he didn't wanna kill them so he will use the blunt edge of the sword

"Haaa!" A man shouted as he pointed the edge of his machete at Kanesada intending to stab him

Ding-! Ding-!

The man with a machete rushed in as he swung at Kanesada, but Kanesada was quick and precise, Kanesada blocked the swing and then parried the man's arm far above him as he used the handle of his sword to hit him in his gut

"Guooh!"

The other man saw what happened and wanted to run away, but Kanesada will not let him go like that, so he dashed behind the man easily and swung the blunt side of his blade at the man's neck

Bak-!

The katana's blunt edge hit his neck resulting in the man getting knocked out

"Ha..." Kanesada shook himself in disappoinment, to think they would be willing to do this to young children...unforgivable

Kanesada had a soft spot to people, that's why he didn't wanna involve ordinary people in his battles against the Time Retrograde Army

Kanesada and Ren then tied all the men together while they were unconscious...

Ren was the first to come to Sajuna and Toka treating the sniffling loli full of bruises and scratches. Ren knelt down in front of the Loli as he reached his hand above the Loli's head

The loli initially flinched and cowered, but slowly, Ren managed to pat her, calming her down

"Are you okay?" Ren asked softly with a smile in his face

The loli said nothing but nodded with crystal tears in her eyes...Ren used his index finger to catch the falling teardrop as he spoke

"It's okay now..you're safe now, no one will hurt you here" Ren smiled brightly, but to the loli, it was like the sun in a winter, warming her and comforted her

"T-tank wyo!" The loli said through her sniffles, to her, the man was an angel from heaven, all the people who saved her are..

"B-big brother are y-you an angel?" The loli asked with pure eyes

"W-well...kinda like that" Ren scratched his chin awkwardly as his mouth twitched

"Big brother here is a fallen angel, he was one of those who fell you see" Ren said as he rubbed her small hands

"Fallen angel? What is that?" The loli curiously asked

"Well...this will be a long one" Ren rubbed his head while still smiling brightfully
