Zeus's PoV

"I don't know what you are talking about."

"Don't make excuses. I know you're a playboy and don't play with my sister." She said looking straight into my eyes. She said that but it's like she's not threatening me or– scaring me. She makes it straight to the point, to get the heck away from her sister.

"I was just trying to be her friend," well yeah that's a fact. Friends will go to boyfriend and girlfriend relationships.

"So if you don't want to, I'll stop being with her–

She cut me off.

"You should," and she turns her back at me and walked away.

Wow. She is something. Really.

Well, I'm not scared of that. Seems like her sister is approachable than her. Well, if this is the case.

I will play the victim and make her the bad person.

Smirk.

"Why the hell are you smirking?" Nicholas just appeared in front of me. I didn't even notice his presence.

He looks at Cassie's twin and the lunatic touched his startled mouth and looked at me.

I raised my brow at him.

"What?"

"D-don't say that... You already like Allie?"

Oh... Allie, huh? That was her name— wait, "What the fuck?!"

"Hahahahaha! Don't make me laugh so hard dude you make me puke. Hahahahaha!" I was laughing hard touching my tummy.

After a minute I stopped laughing and sighed.

"Well, don't be easy to your self. You didn't know what will happen."

"Pfft. Nico, stop already, okay? And remember, I will not fall in love with one of the twins. I make them fall in love with me."

"But it seems like this one twin, named– Allie? She's something dude. She's difficult to get closer to. So I choose her twin, Cassie instead."

Nicholas just shrugged and walks to the parking lot.

I have to think of a plan for Cassie to think that I will be her 'The One.'.

Allie's PoV

"What has been taking you so long?" I irritable ask my sister.

"Oh sorry, I couldn't find the book. But here it is. Let's go." I sigh.

"You didn't bring your motorbike?" Cassie ask.

"Nope. Let's just take the bus."

While waiting for the bus at the bus stop I saw the playboy with his friend at the parking lot of our campus, laughing about something.

If I am right about he is targeting my sister I won't let him. Also, I don't want a scene, my mother will hate that for sure.

"Oh, by the way, Allie, the Lackson Restaurant nearby is about to open. Next week. Do you want to come?"

"Of course. We need to be there, Cassie. Remember?" She just nods and smiles at me.

As we arrive home, I saw my mother walking downstairs.

"Good evening, Mother." We greet.

She just nods and walks through the kitchen.

Cassie and I immediately go upstairs to change our clothes and fix ourselves. Well, we have a visitor, we need to look decent.

We sat down at the dining area waiting for our mother's visitor. It's nearly 6:30 in the evening. He must be late.

Well, I didn't mention before we have a broken and troubled family. My mother and father are divorced. But still, our father supports us. And my mother right here is looking for another man to fill up the position in our family.

To be one big family. Not Happy family, cause it's not suited for us. We will never be a happy family again. We're broke.

I sighed.

"Alfred!" My mother's face lightens up.

He's here.

Cassie and I show respect to the man.

"Good afternoon, Sir."

"Don't be too formal. Alfred will do." He smiles at us.

We sat down and dinners served. My mother and Alfred is having a conversation while Cassie and I just eat. We hate this but we need to cooperate with my mother.

I just zipped my mouth in these situations. I don't like it.

"So these are your twins. Well, let me formally introduce myself." He cleared his throat. "I'm Alfred Lackson, and I'm the owner of the Lackson Restaurant. If you have time visit our restaurant and we'll serve you our best dishes."

"I'm Cassie." Cassie smiled.

"Allie." Not even looking at him and just continue to eat.

He just chuckled and continues to eat.

A few minutes later he started a conversation again.

"I heard that you're an achiever in your school."

"Yes, they are, right Cassie?" My mother said.

"Well, yeah. Especially, Allie, She'd been doing very well at school. She's an honor student, good at sports especially in martial arts and in dancing." Cassie has a voice of a proud sister to me.

"That's impressive. Well, how about you Cassie?" Alfred ask.

"Well, I'm not that good in school but I'm doing my best and I love to cook." Cassie all smiles. How is she doing that? I can't even stay here for so long.

"That's good don't be so hard on yourself at school just relax and do all your best." They laugh. Wow, tss.

The dinner is done and Alfred went home already. Cassie and I are already taking upstairs when my mother calls me.

Here we go again.

"You're so disrespectful. I didn't raise you like that." She glared at me.

"You didn't. But you make me this way."

She scoffs. "You're talking back now, huh? You're a shame in this family!" She scolded me.

I look at her.

"We're not a family." And I turned my back and left.

I don't know why. Why is she doing this to us? To her children? I don't get it. I don't remember do such a thing to make her this mad at us.

I was keeping my feeling inside me. I don't want to tell this to my sister. She's innocent. She's not like me. Being tough. She's emotional for Christ's sake.

I don't want her to involve in my problems. I can bottle all this up. Keeping from them.

I sighed.

When will all this end? When will be able to get peace in our family?

I sighed.

Zeus's PoV

"Turn on the audio, Ced!" Louie shouts.

Then when Ced turns on the audio and Nicholas starts strumming my electric guitar.

Whereat our music room practicing our performance for the Lackson's restaurant grand opening.

When we hit verse one of the song I started singing.

Rod is our pianist, Louie is our drummer, Kyle and Nicholas are playing the guitars together.

Then Ced and I were the vocalists of this band.

From the outside of our playroom, we saw the other student cheering at us. Bet their heart was pumping so fast.

I smile at them and wave my hand they squealed.

I was feeling the music and singing so good when I spot the twins pass by.

I don't recognize which is which at them. But one of the twins glance at the window and they just pass by.

Oh, right my plan. I'll start today.

I didn't play this game just for fun actually, I was already kicked out from my father's house. Now I'm just at our rest house. My father didn't know about that, just so you know my mother helped me.

Thanks to my mother, she cared a lot for me. Then, my brother is being a good boy to my dad.

Pathetic.
