With their songs becoming popular, the appreciation point has increased dramatically. It has even crossed the appreciation point that I initially spent on the songs and skills.

With that appreciation point, it is possible to have 15 songs at the same level as 'STAY'. Giving one or two is no problem at all. And with many people watching the contest, I might even get back all the points in one go.

"Hmmm… If you say so."

The discussion with songs was over.

"So, how do we participate? Solo or as a group?"

Cecilia asked. The contest was not exclusively for individuals, but it is also okay to participate in a group. In fact, many would be participating as a group as they would get more fans to vote for them.

To participate in the contest, you'll need to register either as a solo artist or as a group. If you choose to register as a group, you'll need to decide on the members of your group and come up with a group name. You'll also need to prepare a performance that showcases your skills and talent. The performance should be original, that is the song must be original and this is also one of the biggest selling points of the contest.

"I think participating as a group would be more advantageous for you two. You lack fans compared to other participants but being in a group might compensate for it a little."

Alan explained.

Irina and Cecilia nodded their heads and had no problem with Alan's arrangement. And rather than competing with each other which is weird, they would like it more if they were to cooperate.

After discussing it with Irina and Cecilia, Alan called Director Zayden.

"Hello, Manager Alan!"

An excited and happy voice came from the other end of the phone. Director Zayden still seemed to be happy because of the incredible performance of Irina and Cecilia.

"Sorry for disturbing you Director Zayden."

"Haha… nothing disturbing. I was free anyway. So, anything I could help with."

"It's regarding Cecilia and Irina's development. I want them to appear in 'Rising Star: Melodious Battle'."

" 'Rising Star: Melodious Battle'! Yes, I think that Irina and Cecilia received an invitation from that program. So, you want them to gain fame through this contest?"

"Yes!"

"Okay. It's a good platform for rookies though they don't have many chances of winning unless they take out a song on the level of 'STAY'. However, this platform could be an opportunity to expand further into the music world."

Director Zayden said.

"So, what help do you need?"

"It's regarding the songwriter. I wonder if the company could provide some songs that I could select for the competition. It would be good if the song was a duet which suits Cecilia and Irina."

"Haha… No problem. I would immediately call them."

"Then I will have to trouble you."

In the aftermath of the call, Director Zayden called the composers who are all at the Novice and Senior levels.

Unlike previously, Director Zayden didn't need to assign a songwriter particularly. There were lots of composers trying to get Irina and Cecilia to sing their songs.

They were no longer unknown idol trainees who would disappear from Idol World. They had managed to show that they were here to stay and that they would become popular idols. They already had tens of thousands of fans despite just debuting.

This was enough for the composer to see their potential. And every songwriter wants to become known and that was only possible when the song became a hit. So, how can a song become a hit?

One was to have a good song. Another was when the singers were very popular. Even though Irina and Cecilia were not very popular, they were better than C-List idols, especially recently because of ranking first in the Weekly Ranking.

The deadline for songs to be submitted was 3 days after the announcement. Many composers were very busy refining their songs. While those who didn't have any songs tried to write one but many gave up because coming up with songs in three days was very hard.

A number of composers gave their songs to Director Zayden, who immediately sent them to Alan.

"I have sent you the songs. You can choose anyone you like."

"Thank you!"

Alan replied to Director Zayden's message.

Then he went and looked through the lyrics and music score. He could analyze whether the songs were good or not with his Advance Idol Manager Skill and Amateur Singing skills.

There were around 24 songs submitted and he had to go through all of them. Without wasting time, he divulges into the lyrics and then the music score.

"This is it?"

Alan was very surprised after having gone through 24 lyrics and music scores.

( The quality is too low! )

He felt that all the songs that he received were barely on the level of Intermediate quality from the system. The best was at most at the level of okay Intermediate quality.

( Was it because of time? Should I increase the deadline? )

Alan didn't know why the song was written of such low quality. The lyrics were boring and the music score was crappy. The best songs only had some catchy tunes and nothing else. He thought that if Cecilia and Irina were made to sing such songs, they would lose their fans.

He began to think about whether the time given was too low. Whether increasing the deadline would be okay? But he scrapped that idea.

There was only one week before the start of the contest. Irina and Cecilia need to practice the song or else they would mess up at the contest.

"Ah, leave it! It seems that I would have to rely on the system."

Alan said as he went to the System interface and searched for a good duet of master class quality.

"Hmmm… This is quite good."

"Maybe this one suits them better."

"Looking at the trend, this should go well."

Alan began listening and comparing which one he should buy. Just having a good song was not enough. It has to match the image of the singer, it has to go with the trend, and whether the song is appropriate for the situation.

However, there was no problem as there were millions of songs in the System Shop that fulfilled those requirements.

"This is it!"

Finally, he decided on one song called

"Heart's Embrace" is a duet of master-class quality that matched the image of Irina and Cecilia as gentle and emotional singers. The song had a catchy melody, meaningful lyrics, and a modern sound that was popular with the current music trends. It was also appropriate for the contest situation and had the potential to captivate the audience.

Alan quickly purchased the song from the System Shop and downloaded the music score and lyrics. He then forwarded it to Irina and Cecilia, along with a message explaining his decision and expressing his confidence in their ability to perform it well.
