President Rea was happy that Alan had accepted the offer but was not happy thinking that her friend did something to him.

After all, she was the one who pushed Alan to go and meet with Eva. Rea didn't think that Eva would do something to harm Alan as she had never done that before. 

However, remembering how Alan was skeptical about Eva, she had a reason to suspect that something happened between the two.

She immediately called Eva after Irina, Cecilia and Alan left the room.

"Hello, Rea! Did they accept the offer?"

Eva said from the other end of the call.

"Yes, they did," President Rea replied, her voice tinged with concern. "But Eva, I have to ask you something. What did you do to Alan?"

There was a brief pause on the other end of the line, followed by Eva's melodious laughter.
