Star Wars: The Last Je'daii

After an unexpected death and rebirth, Ian is reborn on the planet Lotho Minor. His grand journey begins with the uncovering of a piece of ancient tech; The Force System. The System isn't the cheating type, with inventory, store, levelling up, consumable 'stat points' and all that, but a more grounded one, a teaching/learning aid of sorts, it does have a stat board though. The chapters are short, but I update pretty regularly-- In fact, calling them chapters seems wrong there more like pages. Mc gets the system chapter 10, and the story at least at the beginning doesn't focus on him too much. It starts getting (In my opinion) really good around chapter 13.

Star Wars: Jent or Jedi?

At first, the mask was chipped; a small splinter nicked into the glass, and then that slivered split spread, instantly rupturing into a divide.

"Crack!"

It fractured sending a shattering of glass into Jent's eye, and his jaw tightened, holding back a scream. He tried to be static, still clinging to life, as he felt a pressure; the blade's tip, puncturing through his right eye, half-blinding him.

As Jent awaited death, no memories flashed before his eyes, nor was there an epiphany brought about by his encroaching mortality. No, death was simple: It was fear, it was tyranny, it was just... Death.

He waited and waited for it to come... but it didn't. The monsters raptorial appendage was still; unmoving for a second, before retracting.

Jent was confused, was the creature toying with him? Planning to slowly torture him; take him apart piece by piece? It had already taken an eye, so why not? But no. Outside, it stood still, motionless for an excruciatingly long moment, before rearing up and howling. "Jedi. Jedi!"

And so, with the chitter of its stampede reverberating, the abomination ran off. As it ran, in its manic crazed state, it continued to murmur and rage aloud: "Must remember I am fear, must remember I am hunter! Prey! I will come, and through the filth, through the grief, Jedi! I will have Revenge!"

Inside the crevasse, Jent sat in shock. He was covered in a litany of abrasions, cuts and bruises, not to mention the lost eye. He had been violently mauled, the wounds on his back bleeding, and his eye leaking a vitreous fluid that was slowly draining out.

What seemed like an eternity passed like this; as Jent sat in a traumatized daze, collecting the pieces of his shattered psyche. When he had finally came to his senses, his damaged eye had drained dry and his blood had congealed, sealing up some the shallower wounds across his back.

Jent dragged himself out of the crevasse, bearly holding back tears, as his body screamed out in pain. Flopping to the floor, he breathed heavily; his body compensating for a deficit, and extreme tiredness overcame him. He had the sudden urge to take a short nap, and oh how easy it would be to have a little lie-down, but he refused the impulse to nod-off, knowing that if he fell unconscious now it would mean his death.

Jent staggered to his feet, coughing and choking on the polluted air.

His mask had been broken, and no longer airtight, it was letting in the mustard-like gas and sulfuric ash of Lotho Minor, scarring his lungs. He needed to quickly get back to the village and more importantly back to the Doc, otherwise, even if that monster had left for good, he would certainly die.

Jent made his way back, lurching and swaying as he struggled to stay awake and he forced his body to move one step at a time until...

"F*ck!" He gasped, collapsing, and falling unconscious.

The rain of snow-like ash slowly cascaded down, and it covered Jent, concealing him.

---

Far away, Ian was walking through the ash storm, and not far behind was Illus, floating; spectral like a ghost.

Oddly enough, the ash and air appeared to have no effect on Ian; not singing his skin or scarring his lungs as you would expect. The only problem induced by the storm in-fact was...

It had caused him to get lost.

"Grurrchhh," his stomach rumbled, as he tried to find his way back to the underground village, and Illus let out a little chuckle in response.

"F*ck this bloody ash! Goddammit!" Ian spat out, frustrated, and pawing at his stomach in discomfort. "There is no need to get angry... Actually isn't this the perfect time to get you started on your training?" Illus said, comforting Ian.

"Training?" Ian asked, perking up at the thought of learning to use the force, "what are you going to teach me first?"

Illus let out a coy laugh, "something you're clearly lacking."

In-front of Ian the system's luminescent blue screen popped up, and on it, there was a notification; a message that covered the basic interface. The system read it out to him:

~~~
("Grandmaster Illus has suggested to you the optional ability: Force Sense. Warning! Only two optionals can be taught before reaching the rank of Padawan-- Do you accept?")
~~~

Ian ignored the little joke Illus had made at his expense and didn't hesitate; he yelled out an impatient shout of 'yes', and the notification disappeared; replaced by the Interface:

I've done some basic editing for this one, but if you see any error's or any sentences you think could be added or restructured let me know.

I couldn't find a real coin; so I just typed it in google. On the coin-flip app, the tails' is a little chalice full of blue flames... Interesting maybe that could be my next flip, death by fire.

If anyone's wondering if this is real; It is... But could I bring myself to do it? Yes-- Yes I could.
