Star Trek Strange New Universe
Star Trek Strange New Universe takes place after the seventh episode of Star Trek Strange New World. The main plot in this book is quantum universes. Quantum physics has a different set of rules than 'ordinary' physics. For example, you can go and eat lunch with your loved one and then quantum jump and eat again lunch with your loved one. You can quantum jump six more times and eat the same lunch with your loved ones at the same hour, minute, and second. Differences can be minor like you eat meat on one lunch and you eat fish on another lunch. Or it can be a major event like world war 3 started after lunch or an earthquake. Quantum physics and quantum universes can be very confusing for readers who do not have at least a basic knowledge of the subject. Number 1: "No Klingons space battleship in sight."
Spock: "Captain Pike, I just scanned planet Earth, it's inhabited by Romulans.
There are no humans on planet Earth."
Number 1: "A fleet of Romulan spaceships has revealed itself.
They are shooting at us."
La'an: "We have sustained damage!"
Ortega: "Our rudder is damaged."
Number 1: "A Klingon space battleship has appeared above Enterprise.
Klingon space battleship is shooting at the Romulans."
The crew of Enterprise watched as the Klingon space battleship destroyed the Romulan spaceships.
Number 1: "Captain, all Romulan spaceships have been destroyed by the Klingons."
La'an: "The Klingons are shooting at us!
We ran out of shields."
Spock: "The Klingons have teleported to the Enterprise in the engine room."
Captain Pike: "Send security to the engine room."
A call came from the engine room.
Engine Room: "Captain Pike, the Klingons injured several crew members, they took the Neutron Quantum Bomb."
The starship Enterprise watched the Klingon space battleship go into warp.
Ortega: "The rudder is repaired.
We have controls back."
Captain Pike: "We're going after the Klingons."
The Enterprise followed the Klingon space battleship.
Romulan spaceships were attacking the Klingon battleship the entire time.
The Klingons destroyed the Romulan spaceships with ease.
The Enterprise followed a Klingon space battleship to the Klingon home planet of Kronos.
There, a Klingon space battleship was attacked by a large fleet of Romulan spaceships.
The Klingons destroyed the Romulan spaceships and began firing on the planet Kronos.
Spock: "Captain Pike, Kronos is inhabited by Romulans.
The Klingons are exterminating everyone on the planet."
After ten minutes.
Spock: "Captain Pike, the Klingons have exterminated the last Romulan on the planet.
There were over 5 billion Romulans on the planet."
A small craft departed from a Klingon space battleship towards a nearby moon.
The craft left something on the moon and returned to the Klingon space battleship.
A Klingon space battleship has disappeared.
Spock: The Klingons left a Neutron Quantum Bomb on the moon."
Captain Pike: "Let's go stop her.
I hope we have time."
Spock and Captain Pike teleported near the Neutron Quantum Bomb on the moon.
Spock: "10 minutes until detonation."
Captain Pike: "Spock, can you stop the detonation of the Neutron Quantum Bomb?"
Spock: "The Klingons have wired up a countdown timer with explosives that will destroy the shielding around the Neutron Quantum Bomb.
I can't stop the countdown."
Captain Pike: "Let's hurry back to the Enterprise."
Captain Pike and Spock teleported back to the Enterprise.
Number 1: "There are 5 minutes left until the explosion."
Spock: "I'm reading quantum signals on the moon.
They come from the Neutron Quantum Bomb.
Quantum signals change randomly.
The instability in the Neutron Quantum Bomb is the cause of this."
Captain Pike: "Can you get us the quantum coordinates for the quantum jump?"
Spock: "I can't for now."
Number 1: "2 minutes left until the Neutron Quantum Bomb explodes!"
Captain Pike: "Spock! Do we have coordinates?"
Spock: "A moment Captain Pike."
Number 1: "One minute left until the neutron quantum bomb explodes!"
Captain Pike: "Spock, we don't have a moment!"
Spock: "I just pulled out the quantum coordinates."
Captain Pike: "Enter quantum coordinate into controls."
Spock: "I have entered quantum coordinate into controls."
Captain Pike: "Start the quantum drive and execute the quantum jump."
The Enterprise has quantum jumped.
