"WE NEED to investigate Yujin's childhood in secret?"
"Yes," Rowoon said while nodding. "It was the order by our direct superior, so we don't have a choice but to follow him, even if it means defying the higher-ups who want us to ignore the incident."
"But why do it in secret?" Danbi asked, confused. "Yujin already knows what our job is, and I'm sure she'll cooperate with us."
He fell silent while thinking.
Right now, the two of them were on the rooftop of the organization's head office. The sight wasn't pretty because it was just all buildings around them. But, at least, the sunrise was breathtaking.
It helped him clear his mind.
"It seems like Moon Hyuk, the chairman of Hansung Group, bribed the higher-ups to force the organization to stop investigating the incident between Moon Yujin and the Mountain Spirit," he explained. "But our direct superior can't let it slide, so he asked to investigate in secret."
