Lexus' plan

Earlier that day, Lexus received a phonecall. He had been waiting for this phonecall for 2 days now.

"Hello,my queen"he said in an affectionate tone.

"Don't call me that, I'm mad at you!"snapped a feminine voice.

"Oh!, what did I do to get my queen mad?"he asked, faking innocence and smirked.

"Stop acting innocent. You're married and you didn't tell me! who is she?"snapped the feminine voice more infuriated this time. Lexus chuckled inwardly, everything was going according to his plan. He knew he was going to receive a call from his mother.

2 days ago, he had managed to get her spies(yeah, she has spies to check on her son) find out about his marriage and it's exact date. All he had to do was go to one of his mother's clubs and host a party there saying it's to celebrate his marriage then wait for the information to get to his mother.

"So sorry mum, I was a little bit busy"

"Too busy to tell your mum you're married?!"she snarled.

"I'm so sorry mum"he pleaded.

"You're forgiven. Who is she?"she said softly. He knew his mother couldn't stay mad at him.

"Thank you mum!"

"So who is she? hope it's not that Astrid girl?"she asked.

"Nope"

"Preta?"she inquired.

"Nope"

After 10 more minutes of name suggestion and rejection.

"Is there any of your girlfriends I haven't mentioned?" she asked.

"No. You've never met her or should I say your spies have never seen her"he said in a playful tone.

"A new one? then why did you get married? You never mentioned marrying anyone. Why all of a sudden?"

"We've known each other for some time now. I'd never loved any girl, she was the first. I found out she loved me too. So we got married."

"I still find it very strange. But if you say you love each other then I'm ok with it. I just hope she's sincere"

"She is, she's a good person"he said softly. You'll meet her any time soon"

"Ok, pay us a visit at home"

"Next week, I'll pay you a visit next week". She ended the call.

"Ok, the first part of the plan went well, now it's time to prepare for the visit. I know my mother too well, she'll turn the visit into an interview. That's why I'll need to go to the mansion. I want everything to be perfect. I'll have to inform the mansion's personnel I'll be back later."he thought as he walked out of his car.

He had been inspecting his imports before having received the call. His men had reported that 2 of their trucks had been ambushed and he already had an idea of who it could be. It was Lewis(his brother), this was the fourth time he stole his cargo this month.

"Boss, we should go beat the hell out of him"said one of his men.

"Yeah boss, you've already lost ten million dollars because of this ambushes. We should teach him a lesson"another says. Lexus just sighs, attacking his brother will lead to a feud which he is most likely to lose since Levis(his other brother) will come to Lewis' rescue. They could also take the problem to their father, who might also side with Lewis saying he doesn't have any proves. He had proves, the survivors from the ambush all reported having seen men in purple (purple was their family colour). He deals only with guns and drugs, Lewis deals in drugs and slaves while Levis deals in slaves and prostitution. All the armed robbers stole was drugs and nothing else. Those were his proves, but his dad might have said he just framed his brother.

"We're not beating the hell out of anyone. Go back to your jobs."

"Yes boss!"they'll all go back to their various activities."Now I'll just get some rest, then I'll go to the mansion. I'll check Regina's folder the slave trader gave me first."

He sat on his bed with the folder in his hands. The folder contained her national identification card with her name, date of birth(26/08/2005), place of birth, parent's name on it, her driving license, library card. Was this information supposed to be useful?it sure wasn't. At least he knew her birthday, he told himself.

"Talking about her.... she doesn't look quite healthy. Wait a minute, I didn't order her dinner the other day. Which mean she ate once. I can't an underfed wife to my mother. She'll not believe we got married out of love, mostly with this whole white hair issue. What if she hasn't eaten for days?I need to go find out right now"

Still in the garden,

"So, what did you have for lunch?" Lexus asked softly.

"Nothing---"Lexus went ballistic before she could even finish her sentence.

"Why haven't you eaten? where is Laura?Alex!"he called out. Alex walk to his master as fast as he can."Get me Laura!"he ordered.

Regina who was still awestruck by his reaction tried to speak."I-I told her not to make lunch, master"she stuttered. He gave her a worried look,"why's he mad? did I do something wrong?"she asked herself.

"Why?have you been taking all your meals?"he asked."is he trying to starve herself to death?she looks pale"he thought.

"Yes master. I wasn't hungry yet, i-I told her not to make lunch yet."Lexus heaved and smiled sweetly.

"Ok, that's good"he pats her head. Mme Laura walks in

"You ordered my presence, sir" Mme Laura bowed as she spoke to him.

"Yes, go make lunch for my wife."he ordered.

"Yes sir"she bows and leaves.

"There was no need to worry then"
