WITH HIM

Wait! is he the one that doctor Zhao called to pick her up? she thought. When she heard him say he will call her brother to come pick her up of course she should have known it was him, Doctor Zhao doesn't know Axel yet. Maybe his Dad was busy that's why he couldn't come. She mentally thought to herself.

Ethan stood still his gaze fixed on her, Patiently waiting for her to come over. No one could tell what exactly was going on his mind. His expression was straight, not giving out a single trace of thoughts as he stared at the seventeen years old girl who also reciprocated his stares with an unexpected look on her face.

He could tell she's was not expecting him to be the one here. She was somewhat reluctant to come meet him. Is she.... scared of him? that was the only perception making sense because of her behavior around him. Who wouldn't by the way.

"Kamlyn, Young master Lu is waiting for you." Doctor Zhao's voice broke whatever trance they were both in.

Ethan immediately directed his gaze at him. Did he just call her by name. Okay he heard that the first time and this is the second time. They have gotten that close already? just one session!

"Lyn let's go." His deep cello like voice echoed out her name, and men! shock was an understatement.

She blinked once, twice and then trice. Was she the one he was referring to? She couldn't register this down. He just called her by an endearment, one she had never been called before.

She slowly raised her fingers and pointed at her chest, meaning to ask if she was the one he was talking to.

Of course what was she expecting, she got no reply from him. He was as quiet as he was not moving a single muscle neither was the a shift in his expression to at least give an answer to her unspoken question.

She slowly walked towards him when she got his silent reply.

With her head faced down she walked pass him to the door before she halted and quickly gave a small wave to doctor Zhao before completely exiting the office.

"We will take our leave now." Ethan plainly stated before walking out not waiting for the doctor's reply.

He closed the door shut as he left. Doctor Zhao stared at the empty space with a raised brow before he shook his head sideways with a small laugh.

At the edge of the ward's lobby kamlyn stood waiting for him. She don't expect him to be done with the doctor so soon. He took large strides towards her direction.

"Let's go." He said before he walked passed her leading to the car.

She couldn't see the driver it looks like he came alone which meant he will be driving them home.

He held the door to the passenger seat open.

She was confused. Was she supposed to get in or...?

"Get in." He said clearing her confusion.

After she got in, he moved to the other side and quickly got into the driver's seat. He immediately started the ignition and drove off.

The atmosphere in the car was so silent and uncomfortable. She knew the was no way he was going to start a conversation or lighten up the atmosphere, neither did she have any interest in that as well.

This was just the first time she was with him in the same space, with no body else around of course she was bound to feel this way.

Suddenly the car got to a halt making her wonder the reason. Her breath immediately hitched when she saw Ethan coming closer to her.

She quickly turned to him with questions and uncertainty in her eyes, but he kept on moving closer and closer, their eyes locked together.

The nearer he came the more back she moved. She was kinda scared of what was happening, The worst was that she could not speak to voice out her questions. So many running in her mind right now.

When she finally reached the limit of her backward movement she stilled. She couldn't look into his eyes anymore they way making her feel something she can't explain.

She brought her gaze down to his chest only to see two buttons of his shirt unbuttoned. His chest was in clear view making her gulp hard.

She looked back to his face, coming in contact with his eyes again which was now settled on her lips.

What was going on?. She felt like screaming this out right now.

When he was few inches away from her. She shut her eyes tight. Just when she thought the unexpected was going to happen. She heard a 'Click' sound.

By the time she opened her eyes, he was back in his former position, steering the wheel already.

She looked down to see the seatbelt tucked securely around her. She raised her eyes to take a look at him.

'What's going on?' She wondered with her eyes on him. But she knew she won't get the answer that easily.
