UNTANGLING

The meeting was already in progress and Ethan was already seated listening to the project ideas the other party had to offer. He looked like he was focused on the ongoing meeting. But his mind was not at all attached to where he is right now.

The scene earlier kept on replaying in his. He was some how grateful and also some how mad. If his assistant didn't come knocking on the door earlier, God knows what he would have done. How did he even go that far? He asked himself confused.

He would have kissed her if not for the interruption. It wasn't like he was not in his senses when that was going on. He was, and he could remember very well. He even gave her the chance to push him away or something. But it seemed that she also was not in her right state.

He mentally put a blame on himself for almost taking advantage of a teenage girl and his sister for Christ sake. Though not really but as long it is documented, it is a fact no one can change. He remembered when he left her earlier after his assistant came knocking, reminding him that the meeting was about to commence.

She was still in shock of what transpired. He really frightened the little girl. But it wasn't his fault. Her lips were so tempting that he had to at least taste it. He remembered the feel of it against his, it was purely heavenly. He had never been this attracted to anyone like this. Like it was a spell used to chain him down or drown his senses away.

He silently thought of how she will be doing now, he definitely has to apologize for his insane act.

"Sir, it will benefit the economic growth." The person giving the presentation said.

"What do you think about it Young Master?" Assistant Fu asked.

"Yeah sure whatever." Ethan replied absent mindedly. He didn't even hear what assistant Fu said. He immediately stood up and left the meeting room.

He can't concentrate with this kind of thought on his mind. Anything for now can wait, he needs time to relax and cool his head.

Kamlyn was not any better either. She was quite stunned by what happened earlier. Did she really do that. What will he think of her?. She kept on thinking. She almost kissed a man for goodness sake how could she have done that.

She mentally apologized to Elina and Louis in her mind. But suddenly she thought about. Why is she acting like this. Not as if she kissed him or had sex with him?. She blushed at her thoughts, her cheeks already went red in shame. He must be acting all cool and expressionless putting on his aloof font. She mused inwardly.

Her blush was still present, it hadn't dispersed yet.

Not long after she heard footsteps coming in and if she is not wrong she recognized whose footsteps those are. She hurriedly laid herself on the couch and acted all sleepy.

She shut her Eyes tight before he could fully enter.

And when he did, he came Across a sleeping kamlyn. He never thought she will fall asleep so fast. it has just been An hour and a few minutes he left for the meeting and she was here already sleeping.

He walked closer to her, he could see the sofa wasn't comfortable to lay on.

Kamlyn heart kept skipping beats the more closer he approached. She wasn't sure she could hold this act of hers for long, but she persevered strongly.

The moment he reached the sofa chair, he bend down with the thought of carrying her into the room the minor accident transpired earlier. But he was distracted as his gaze got stuck on her face.

Her hair was in the way of his view so without second thoughts, he brought his hand forward and slowly wiped them behind her ear.

This indeed elicited a response from kamlyn as her brows nitted a little but she held it in not to move a muscle.

Ethan continued staring lostly at her face. He was confused about what's going on with him, he couldn't understand himself around her anymore.

After getting his fill of his looking at her beautiful smooth and young face, he gently lifted her up catching her off guard by his move.

She almost let out a Yelp, but she was lucky enough to hold it in on time. She prayed he will just lay her down and leave, infact she was sure of this.

He took her towards the bedroom and laid her gently on the bed. By the time he wanted standing straight he halted. He realized his neck chain got entangled with her shirt button.

He didn't expect this to happen, he looked at her one more time and saw she was deeply asleep. He reached out to her buttons but keep stopping half way. He finally braved himself to do it. He slowly reached for her buttons and when he was about to start untangling them, he looked at her again only to see her eyes widely open and staring at him.
