THIS IS BAD

All this bad luck coming their way was unexpected, they didn't even imagine that something like this could ever happen to them. Most people blame it all on fate, but it is all part of life, Life gives and takes. They understood that part, but why? they are myriad ways in which life takes then why this way in their case.

The Lu's were seated in silence with grief perceived in the atmosphere, with no one to give them comfort this time when they both needed it,

After hearing it all from Louis, Elina felt dormant in fact, she felt dead, just a day back they were all excited to go on a little get-together so they could catch up since the yangs were abroad all this while. Faith didn't even give them a chance to reunite once more before striking painfully and invariably.

"You promised… you promised you will be back for our Little… get-together… You pro… mised to come back for... kamy." Elina wept hysterically. "You guys did… you… you failed your promise. I even told you guys to stay back… for a mini-vacation so… so I could spend time with kamy but I regret it… I regret it now. If I knew this… this would have happened … I would have disagreed with your trip. But… it's… it's too late now. I'm sorry I'm so sorry."

Elina sobbed painfully, this time with no comfort from Louis who was trapped in his own world of pain. Though he didn't express himself the way Elina was, he knew what he is going through, he didn't have the strength to comfort Elina he needed comfort also if he were to comfort her what would he say to her, and besides what about him, how could he provide comfort to someone when he wasn't alright either.

Elina wiped her tears hurriedly remembering that she was not the only one in pain, she turned to take a look at her husband who had been strong all this while, giving her hope that everything will be okay. Now what about him? he is at his limit now, the least she could offer is comfort right now. She gently rubbed his back. "It will pass" She muttered in a strong-willed tone with little tears still drizzling down slowly. Shaking his head negatively Louis slowly turned toward Elina "No it won't Lina not now not ever." Louis said placing his head in the depth of his palm. "But we will adjust." Louis continued.

Sniffing hard, Elina said. "How are we gonna break the news to Kamlyn?" She mumbled in a whisper-like tone. They both could not even imagine such a scenario or think of what will happen. If the news of her parent's accident could make her collapse, how much more the news of their death, how will she take it? no! they don't want to imagine, but they have no choice but to inform her because in the end it will still be known to her as the news has already gone viral.

"We have to tell her, she must know," Louis said plainly. "What? but…" Elina tried to disagree but was cut shut by Louis. "We have no choice the sooner the better." Louis stated leaving no room for argument. "Alright if you say so"

Kamlyn was seated silently with her gaze focused on the window as if she was looking at something intriguing, with no expression on her face she just sat like a lifeless being with no soul whatsoever. She heard a knock on her door, knowing who it was she didn't divert her attention nor did her gaze falter even a little bit.

After the knock, Louis and Elina softly made their way into the space where she had confined herself for hours now. This will be hard but they had no choice. "Dear, how are you doing?" Elina asked with concern laced in her gaze seeing her so motionless, yet the was no reply whatsoever.

Elina softly stroked her back understanding the little girl's plight. "Dear we don't know how to say this but… but you have to know, we can't hide this from you, you deserve to be informed," Elina said choking on her tears. This statement undoubtedly caught the poor girl's attention as the immediately diverted her attention to Elina and Louis with a slight frown on her face making Elina unable to speak as she was directly facing her. "What… what do you mean aunty?" Kamlyn asked with a heavy uncertainty weighing her down like she knew what was about to be said will change her life forever.

"Dear its… it's your parents sweetheart, they…they left us." Elina finally voiced out.

Crazy laughter was heard coming from kamlyn she laughed loudly while negatively shaking her head. "Oh dear, what is gonna happen?" Elina mumbled while grasping onto Louis.

"No! no! no! it is not possible. it can't be true aunt, tell me you are joking aunt, you can't possibly joke with a thing like this aunt!"

A sudden scream was heard before she continued with a laugh. "oh no this is bad." Elina mumbled to Louis with her tear-stained eye. "Uncle, aunt is lying to me, right? she is lying, isn't she? tell me, uncle!" Kamlyn let out a shrill scream scaring both Louis and Elina. "Dear, it is hard for all of us also. We could not accept it either, up till this point. The news was confirmed earlier." Elina explained in a slow and painful tone. Indeed life is unfair. "No! no" Kamlyn uttered in little whispers trying to digest this unpleasant news. With her hands clutching tightly on her hair she screamed out loudly as it was too much for her to put up with. Before Elina or Louis could reach her, she blacked out.
