Ethan was having an Important discussion with one of the guest When his mobile phone suddenly rang cutting him shut from what he was about to say. "Give me a minute." Ethan said while excusing himself with the phone placed on his right ear.

"Hello president Tang." Ethan greeted. "How are you." He continued.

"I am doing great Ethan. I hope I am not disturbing you from anything, seeing you are the host of the event?" President Tang asked.

"No need to worry president Tang, why did you call?" Ethan said getting straight to the point. "Well I called because of my daughter I have been trying to reach her but she isn't picking up, so I decided to call you, Thinking she will be with you." President Tang said indirectly, reminding Ethan of the fact that Olivia is his date and is supposed to be with him during the party.

"About that she is injured that is why she isn't here with me now" Ethan said plainly. "It is my fault for not taking proper care of her president Tang. I will quickly bring her back when I am done with the important guest." He continued after a pause.

"What! is the injury a serious one?" president Tang asked, a little bit worried.

"She slipped while walking but I caught her in time." Ethan replied.

"Oh thanks son I knew I couldn't trust anyone with my daughter's safety except you. Please could you quickly bring her home, Her driver is on leave so he isn't available at the moment." President Tang asked Ethan.

Knowing well he didn't have a choice. " I would have done that anyway but sure, I will bring her home, just give me some minutes to round things up so my assistant can continue." Ethan replied walking towards the direction of the business men he was with earlier before he got interrupted by the phone call.

After exchanging a few words for some minutes with them, he excused himself. He went over to Olivia remembering where he told her to sit and wait for him, Upon reaching there he could see she was on a phone call. Deciding not to disturb her, he lingered around the vicinity patiently waiting for her to be done. Viewing all the messed up reactions reflecting on her face. He thought maybe she was just in a bad mood due to her injury.

Walking closer to check if she's ok, he was a mile close to her when he noticed her bringing her phone down from her ears, meaning she just ended the call.

Olivia was already infuriated due to all the unwanted news she has been receiving today, she decided to vent a her frustration on the person by the other side of the line. Checking her time and looking around for any signs of Ethan since the Lu's left her ever since.

She was Shocked to see Ethan behind her Olivia stammered. "Yo.. you are al.. ready here?." She stated, more like a question.

"Yeah, what's wrong are you unwell." He asked With a straight face with no sign of emotion on. The strange behavior she just exhibited not up to a minute ago. Ethan thought maybe she was unwell.

"Ahhh no... I was just startled because you were suddenly behind me." She put forth her excuse, attempting to put on a smile which she was failing Terrible at.

Feeling maybe she was uncomfortable Ethan said "Fine then let's go. Your dad just called and he's worried about you, we need to head now."

Smiling widely Olivia gingerly stood up forgetting her leg injury, which made her whimper in pain.

Holding her gently to his chest. Ethan carefully whispered. "Don't rush, becareful." He whispered with his lips almost touching her ear, sending an electric shiver down her spine.

Olivia lost her composure for moment while leaning against his chest. Bending down a little Ethan picked her up princess style and walked out of the event. Upon reaching outside Olivia insisted that Ethan drop her.

"Don't worry you can drop me down now, I can walk okay." Olivia said with an innocent voice. Ignoring her Ethan just continued moving forward, towards the parking lot.

Noticing that he won't stop, Olivia frantically looked around scanning her gaze around the area like she was looking for some thing or someone. Suddenly her facial expressions relaxed a bit. She smiled happily while moving her hands from Ethan's shoulder down to his chest.

"Ethan I said I can walk okay. I don't wanna stress you out and I don't want any rumors, what if someone sees us now."

Halting due to her words Ethan brought his gaze down to her face. "Are you sure you will be okay." He asked for confirmation once again.

"Yes I will be." She said with a smiling expression. Ethan decided to drop her down, holding her hands instead while walking to the car. Olivia followed his steps gently as he lead her together.

When getting there, she suddenly tripped holding on to Ethan's shirt as support, she fell on his body making him to stagger back a little with his hands on her waist. "I..I am so sorry. I didn't mean to do that." She said to Ethan in a sorry tone, slowly pulling her body out of his embrace.

"Mom, Dad I will miss you, please take me with you." Kamlyn whined pitifully.

"No dearie we can't okay, and that's final." Mrs yang said in a stern voice. Kamlyn was already in tears hearing her mother's disagreement to bring her along.

Mr Yang entered the room after sending doctor Lan out. Coming in to see his princess crying he immediately rushed to the bedside to sit beside her. "What happen princess why are you crying." Mr yang asked while giving a stern look to Mrs yang, who just rolled her eyes and let out sigh.

"Daddy I want to come with you guys. I will miss you." Kamlyn said while choking on her tears making Mr yang feel teary too.

"No princess you can't come okay, mom and I are going there for business purposes. We won't have time to take care of you, and the last thing I want is to neglect my princess, my princess won't like it right?"

Kamlyn gently respond with a nod.

"Good for the mean time you will stay at the Lu mansion with your uncle and aunt okay?, won't you like to stay with Aunt And uncle?" Mr yang asked while wiping her tears.

"I will." She replied in a small voice.

"Good girl, When mummy and daddy returns, they are gonna buy lots of pretty gifts for princess alright."

She nodded, this time with a smile. "Yeah! now give daddy a kiss." Kamlyn quickly kissed her dad on the cheek. Then a sweet laughter resonated in the room.

Mr and Mrs yang walked out of her room after putting her to bed. "She is always obedient to you, and stubborn around me. Sometimes I think it's only you who gave birth to her." Mrs yang complained with a pout, making Mr yang laugh loudly.

"Come on let's head to bed. You have to go shopping for her tomorrow, I will give you my card since I will be in a meeting by then." Mr yang said.

"Understood." Mrs yang replied as the both headed for the bedroom.
