DECISION

The drive home was quiet. Silence enveloped the whole atmosphere. Louis and Elina's conditions haven't gotten any better.

Ethan was as emotionless as a rock, Axel sat in total serendipity, not letting out his inner feelings. But one could tell that he wasn't as calm as he appeared to be.

They arrived at the residence not long after, Ethan halted the car in front of the mansion for all of them to get down before driving into the garage.

Louis, Elina, and axel made their way in but were surprised by the unexpected visitor they had.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Lu, good day to you." One of them stood, stretching out his hands for a handshake.

"Good day you Mr…?" Louis reciprocated his gesture with a questionable expression evident in his tone also.

"Mr. Mo" He answered with a professional smile.

"Mr. Mo," Louis nodded. "You are welcome, Elina calls the maids to attend to them." Louis continued before taking a seat.

"Sure I will." Elina replied while attempting to make her way to the kitchen but was impeded by Mr Mo.

"The is no need for that Mrs. Lu, we won't spend time here." Mr. Mo explained.

"Okay, so can you say about your sudden visit, and we don't quite get who you are." Mr. Lu acknowledged.

"That, Sorry for not introducing myself earlier.

Well as you already know I am Mr. Mo and we here are all executives from the yang corporation." Mr. Mo insinuated.

"The yang corporation?" Elina asked wanting to confirm what she had just heard.

"Yes, the yang corporation." Mr. Mo responded.

"Please do enlighten us about the reason for your visit." Louis questioned.

"The yang's and Lu's are joined in a partnership business and due to the disastrous occurrence, the yang corporation is under great loss which will therefore implicate the Lu's. We are here to discuss this matter." One of the executives spoke up.

"You are right, we haven't thought about that yet. We were too occupied with the bad news that this didn't cross our minds." Louis explained.

"And one more thing." Mr. Mo spoke up again.

"Please go on." Louis urged him to continue.

"The guardians of our young miss." Mr. Mo articulated. "Yes our young miss, we heard she is in your care." Mr. Mo continued.

Hearing this statement, Elina flinched. "Sh…"

"Yes she is in our care, she was entrusted to us by her parents. So I am sorry if you are here to claim her, we can't hand her over to you." Louis said interrupting what Elina was about to say.

"And does she agree with this arrangement?"

One of the executives spoke.

"Of course, she does we are her Godparents," Elina responded hurriedly out of fright.

"We will like to speak with her then." Another one spoke.

The atmosphere immediately turned tense.

"I am sorry but you can't." A familiar voice spoke interrupting the discussion going on.

Everyone immediately turned in the direction of the voice. And behold was Ethan standing with his hands in his pocket.

He strode forward calmly as ever, with precision in his moves and no time for going around unnecessary things.

"Good day young master Lu." Mr. Mo greeted.

Without replying to the greeting, Ethan got straight to the point. "Miss yang is not going with you, and there is no way you can see her." Ethan implied.

"And why is that young master Lu?" An executive asked with a sense of doubt in his expression.

"She is in no condition to see anyone, is that not obvious?" Ethan remarked with a raise of his brow.

"I understand that." The executive retorted with a bashful guise.

Axel chuckled at his brother's rude remark. He cleared his throat when he sensed Elina's deathly glare.

"If you want to continue being her guardians, you have to adopt her legally." Mr Mo said finding a way to salvage the situation.

Hearing this Elina was extremely filled with joy. She didn't want to hesitate, her gaze met with Louis's and she immediately nodded at him with a beaming smile.

Receiving this already expected reaction from his wife, Louis accepted the condition. He was also glad for this.

"The air to the Yang corporation can not and will not just stay as leverage in someone else mansion except being legally adopted by right and if you agree to this you can keep her." Mr Mo said with seriousness in his expression.

"Sure we understand, and we are ready to accept this condition. She is a daughter to us already, doing this would not make it any different." Louis said with a smile.

"Good here are the papers, sign them we already got this ready." Mr Mo pushed the papers towards Louis direction.

Picking up the paper, Louis clearly saw the adoption written. And with evident happiness he and Elina signed it immediately.

"Alright one problem solved. Now the next." Mr Mo said bringing up the topic about business after putting away the adoption papers and giving a copy to the Lu's.

"About that, I have a suggestion." All eyes immediately turned towards Axel who spoke for the first time about business.

"And can we hear that?." Mr Mo asked with keen interest.

"Well I… I think my eldest brother should handle that." Shock was written clearly on everyone's faces except the executives.
