Prepping

"Shit..." Alec says gritting his teeth. "I need to check on Gus. I'll meet up with you later." I say walking to the door with Chip quietly following. Alec quickly turns and says "Wait! I don't feel comfortable with the way things currently are. Why don't I send Nero with you?"

I shake my head and say "Nero needs to worry about other things, not babysitting me. I have Chip with me, I'll be fine." Alec again looks like he wants to argue but he nods his head in agreement as I walk out. I quickly shift to Gus's shop and almost laugh when the old man nearly jumps out of his shoes.

"Give a man a warning!" He yells holding his chest and growling. I slightly giggle and walk over to the towers he's building. "Are they almost done?" I ask running my hand along the side. I watch with delight when then glass parts begin to slightly glow at my touch.
