Chapter twenty three All white

Janice spend the next two days learning more about the people in the house, she was already well acquainted with Caleb the hulk, with eyes so dark they were downright deadly, his hair was black and straight and braided back and lay down his back and he was cute, very cute.

Now Anna, the short slim model shaped girl that was his sister, had long black curly hair that glistens in the sunlight and warm brown eyes like her brother Tyler, but Fabian his oldest brother whom she had only seen once or twice, she had gotten to know a little better.

He was taller than Caleb but his hair was light brown and he had sideburns along his jaw and under his chin and also if you didn't know him you would think that he was the angry one because of how he looked but surprisingly he was actually a lot calmer than Caleb but just as thick and muscular and handsome, very handsome. These people have very good-looking children.

Wait, the side of Fabian's hair was trimmed low but not the middle, it was tall down his back and he too had dark eyes but not as intimidating as his younger brother who walked around looking as if he was about to pound someone.

She then met Miss Mona their helper who was one sturdy looking woman, who in Janice's opinion looked as though she could take on the world with one hand tied behind her back but despite the lady's strong look she was warm and very friendly and she too had natural hair that Anna she learned also loves to comb.

On her third day at the house, Janice put Faith in the baby carrier and made sure she was comfortable. She then checked her appearance in the mirror. The dress that Miss Jackson had given her fit her perfectly. It was light pink with a V neck which curve out her big breast nicely; it also had a belted waist and floral bottom.

The lady had then given her a soft black flat shoe with silver sparkles on it which also fits her perfectly because as it turns out she and one of Mrs. Jackson's sisters both wore size eight. It still hurt when she moved, breathe, or lifts Faith but she decided to brave it because she wanted to talk to Tyler before he leaves the house again.

He seems to be very busy these last few days and she hadn't seen a lot of him. She wanted to talk to him last night but she fell asleep waiting for him but when she woke up she could tell he was there.

He was always so gentle and kind to her and whatever he did for a living must be very meaningful both to him and his parents because from what she had noticed they were very proud and protective of him.

Lifting the carrier in her hand she smiled down at her sleeping daughter, she still couldn't believe that Tyler had bought the carrier and the stroller for Faith, they were extremely beautiful and looks very expensive and that made her even more grateful to him for all he had done for her.

She took a deep breath and left her room but as she steps into the corridor she realized that she didn't know which room belonged to him. The door next to hers was open and she could see that it was a guest room, so she went to the one next to that one and knocked softly.

Caleb was tearing his room apart looking for his phone and car keys when he heard the soft knock, he ignore it for a while but it was obvious that whoever it was wasn't going to leave.

He stormed across his room and bumped his leg on his dresser, swearing beneath his breath he swung the door open with such force that it banged against the wall causing her to jump back in shock and almost lost her grip on the carrier.

"Oh; sorry I didn't know it was you; what are you doing out of bed anyway? You're supposed to be resting; are you okay?" He asks in concern. She nods her head slowly. "Could you do me a favor and stop doing that." He asks annoyed. Janice's eyes roamed over the man standing in front of her, his presence was totally dominating, just like Leon's, and his muscles were bulging beneath the shirt he was wearing as he fixed his extremely dark eyes on her.

"Stop- doing- what?" She asks softly. "Stop acting as if you're about to jump out of your skin every time you come in contact with me." He replied trying to sound calm. "Well, it would be a lot easier for me to stop if you weren't so angry all the time." She said with her head down.

"Whoa, you don't know me like that sweetheart."He said raising his brow. "I've ears and you always seem to be angry at something or someone." She said without looking at him. "Well I'm not angry all the time, well most of the time; but not all the time." He said in a defensive tone. "But if I'm scaring you then I'll try to keep my anger in check." He smiled. "Thank you." She said softly. "So, what can I do for you?" He asks leaning against the door frame.

"I was looking for Tyler's room." She said with her head down. "Why is it that you're always whispering?" He chuckles shaking his head. "You know what, don't answer that. It's that white door over there.' He said pointing.

"Thank you and have a good day." She said with a warm smile. "Fat chance of that happening, I can't find my phone or my car keys." He said turning away from her and going back to digging through the things on his bed again. "Where was the last place you had them?" She asks. "If I knew that, then I wouldn't be looking for them now would I?' He snaps.

Janice stepped inside his room and put Faith on the ground next to the door. She then went over and touched his arm gently causing him to stop and look at her in surprise. "What is it?" He asks puzzled. "Stop what you're doing and think, you had them when you came in the house last night right?'

"Yes." He said leaning his head sideways. "Do you remember where you were when you last used your phone?" "Alright listen, I know you're trying to help but I'll take care of this alright, just go rest or something." He said going back to the bed, he then walks to the clothes basket and began dragging things out.

She took a deep breath and walk over to him, once again touching his arm. "I can help if you'll let me." She said. "Alright, go ahead." He said folding his very muscular arms across his broad chest.

"Where were you, when you last used your phone?" She asks again. "I don't know..." "Take a deep breath and retrace your steps." She says gently placing her hand on his chest above his arms. "Okay, um….I went into the kitchen, had my dinner, then I went back to my car for some papers, then um…on my way to the study my phone rang, when I ended the call I put the phone on the desk while I talked to my dad and…." He stops as a bright smile crossed her face. "The study!" He said running from the room. Smiling to herself she picks Faith up, walked over to Tyler's door, and knocked.

"Come in, it's open." He answered from inside. She opened the door slowly and step in. His room was decorated similar to hers except it was all white, Caleb's room as she had just noticed was dark brown to match his furniture's but the only colored things in this room was the lace curtains which were light yellow, the flowers which were also yellow, the perfumes and lotions on his dresser, the big poster of Michael Jackson and the other photos on his wall which were all in white frames, the flat screen and the stereo system which was black and the smaller Michael Jackson posters that decorated all the doors in his room.

Otherwise from those, it was just white, white, and more white, even his sheets and bed head and frame were white. Her eyes went back to the photos on his wall. There were a lot of them of him graduating from various places but the one that catches her eyes was the one of him in a doctor's uniform.

"Oh hi, you're out of bed, how are you feeling?' He asks stepping from his closet and putting on his white coat, then walking over to Faith he lifts her in his arms. "Hi, my little muffin." He smiled playing with her little fingers.

Janice didn't answer; she just stared at him with a shocked and amazed look on her face, which made him laugh. "Are you okay?" He asks stifling his laughter behind one of his hands. "You…You're a doctor too?' She asks in disbelief. "Yes, I'm an ER physician, why do you look so shocked?"

Realizing how ridiculous she must look to him she turned away and tried to compose herself. "I'm sorry…. It's just that I've always been a little obsessed with doctors and movies about doctors and medicine." She said her face again turning scarlet, damn this girl could blush something fierce.

I bite my bottom lip and try my best not to laugh as she continues to admire my white coat. "Well, that explains a lot, I have noticed how alert and attentive you are when my dad is in the room, for a moment I thought you had fallen for him." I laugh.

"Me, no; it's what he does for a living that I'm in love with. Discovery health is my favorite channel." "Really? Me too." I said making funny faces at Faith, who seems very content in my arms. "Wow, you've performed two miracles this morning, you help me find my stuff and you have put a smile on my little brother's face, you're definitely a keeper," Caleb commented standing just inside Tyler's doorway. "Thanks for your help Janice; I'll see you guys later."

A few minutes later Mr. Steven entered Tyler's room. "Good morning son" "Morning dad." "Hi Janice; feeling better?" He asks. "Yes, sir I do." "I'm glad to hear that, but sit here and let me take your pressure before I leave." "Okay, sir." She said sitting like an obedient child.;
