20 Lockhart's Final Day

The explosion caused by the explosive seal caused the creatures near the place to escape, while Slytherin's secret chamber began to rapidly fill with water.

Sasuke swam as fast as possible to the surface, once he was out he managed to breathe again.

Sasuke: Weasley, come on we still have to swim to shore.

But Ginny didn't answer, in Sasuke's mind he said don't tell me you drowned.

Sasuke uses his chakra to stand on the water, and begins to run at full speed in the direction of the shore while carrying Weasley in his arms.

Once he reached the shore, he proceeds to perform a CPR resuscitation so that he expels the water that he had swallowed.

She reacts satisfactorily.

Ginny: where are we

Sasuke: On the shore of the black lake, you can walk.

Ginny tries to get up but feels her body weak.

Sasuke seeing this gives a sigh of resignation and proceeds to carry her to go to the infirmary.

Ginny doesn't say anything, she's just red in the face.

Without realizing all this was observed by a poltergeist that floated around the place.

On the way to the infirmary several ghosts observed this scene, and began to talk about it.

Sasuke arrives at the infirmary, finding Madam Pomfrey sitting at her desk.

Madam Pomfrey: Mr. Uchiha, Ms. Weasley what happened.

Sasuke: We just escaped from the secret chamber and the Slytherin heir was arrested and the monster is dead it was a basilisk.

Ginny hearing this got nervous.

Sasuke: this diary.

Sasuke took the journal out of his pocket and handed it over to Madam Promfrey.

Madame Pomfrey: Mr. Uchiha, you have more explanation to do.

But Sasuke didn't answer, because he fell to the ground unconscious.

Madame Pomfrey: Mr. Uchiha

Madam Pomfrey approaches Sasuke to help him.

Ginny: He's fine, what happened to him?

Madam Pomfrey: You just passed out due to exhaustion, you'll recover if you rest, your life is not in danger, you too Miss Weasley have to rest to recover your energy.

All this scene had spectators, they were the friends of the petrified who were waiting for their head of house to escort them to their respective common room, but among themselves they began to comment on what had happened.

Ron: What about Ginny?

Harry: but how?

Myrtle: I only remember that I saw a pair of huge yellow eyes on that wash

Myrtle pointed out the sink, Harry went over to check the sink but when he turned on the tap no water came out, then he understood.

Harry: here it is, I think it's the entrance to the chamber of secrets.

Ron: Say something, Harry is speaking Parseltongue now.

Harry concentrated and imagined being in front of a snake and said "Open up"

The washes began to levitate, disarming and revealing the entrance to the chamber of secrets.

Harry, Ron and Hermione notice that the entrance is flooded with water.

Ron despairs and falls to his knees, starting to cry.

Ron: "it can't be, Ginny"

Harry and Hermione look at him sadly because Ginny is most likely dead.

But suddenly something comes to the surface, causing everyone to scream in fear, Lockhart falls to the ground in a faint.

Myrtle: calm down he's dead.

Harry, Ron and Hermione calm down by confirming that the Basilisk is dead.

Hermione: What happened to him?

Harry: I don't know.

Ron sobbed again thinking of Ginny.

Lockhart gets up quickly and picks up Ron's wand, which he had dropped from kneeling.

Lockhart: the adventure is over guys but rejoice, the world will know our story, how I failed to save the girl, how you tragically went crazy when you saw her tragically dismembered body.

A bird song was heard and the bathroom door was flung open.

They all directed their gaze to the red bird that had entered.

Harry: Fawkes

Fawkes flies over and drops the Sorting Hat into Hermione's hands.

Lockhart: This is the help that Dumbledore sends you, his phoenix and a hat.

The three of them didn't say anything, they just looked at him defiantly.

Hermione felt the hat increase its weight out of nowhere, looking at the hilt of a sword.

Harry was looking around, thinking of a way to stop Lockhart.

Lockhart: say goodbye to your memories, first you Mr. Potter.

Harry looked at the hilt of a sword and reached for it before Hermione did, as she had reached out as well.

Lockhart in his mind taunts them for believing they can take him down with a sword.

Lockhart: "Obliviate"

Due to Ron's wand being broken, the spell bounces back hitting Lockhart who ends up crashing into the wall.

Myrtle: hahahaha how silly, look at using a broken wand.

The others sigh in relief.

Lockhart gets up, but Hermione points her wand at him ready to cast a spell on him.

Lockhart: Who are you? And who am I?

Harry and Ron look at him doubtfully thinking he's trying to trick them.

Hermione lowers her wand and says.

Hermione: He's no longer a danger, he lost his memory due to the rebound of the spell.

Harry was going to say something but the bathroom door opened again, Professor Mcgonagall, Professor Flitwick, Professor Snape entering.

Hermione was going to speak but was cut off by Professor Mcgonagall.

Minverva Mcgonagall: you can tell what they were doing outside the common room, we've been looking for them all over the castle, we thought the worst.

Lockhart: Who are you? this is her house?

Professor Mcgonagall was going to say something but suddenly, she saw with horror the head of the basilisk.

Professor Mcgonagall and Professor Flitwick take out their wands.

Snape: This death, put your wands away.

Minverva Mcgonagall: how did this happen

Hermione: we don't know, it was already like that.

Snape: Professor Mcgonagall should take them to the principal, he must already be in his office, and Professor Fliwick should take Lockhart to the infirmary, everything seems to indicate that he had an accident with the memory spell.

Minerva Mcgonagall: come on follow me.

Mr. Weasley broke down and began to cry along with his wife at the confirmation of Ginny's death.

Everyone was trying to calm them down, 1 hour later:

Mr. Weasley: I want whoever is responsible to pay for this, Professor Dumbledore.

Dumbledore: Arthur, Molly the culprit will pay for what she did, I'll make sure of that.

Ron: the culprit is Sasuke Uchiha.

Hermione couldn't say anything, she just stared at this.

Dumbledore: Are you sure of what you're saying, Mr. Weasley?

Ron: yes professor.

Dumbledore in his mind regretted not realizing that he had another Tom Riddle at school.

Dumbledore: Minerva

Minerva Mcgonagall: I'm afraid if Albus, when Miss Weasley disappeared, so did Mr. Uchiha, so far we haven't found him.

Lucius was surprised by this news, he didn't expect this but deep down he was glad because the Uchiha was an unknown variable because they didn't know where his loyalties lay.
