Starting to Awaken

Just as the blade was going to slit Rin's throat it was stopped in its tracks by a perfectly timed shuriken, both the enemy assassin and Rin were confused and looked in the direction of where it was thrown. Standing in front of a window was the assassin who lives under Rin's bed!

"I forbid you from touching him." The bed assassin said firmly with cool anime eyes.

"What? Aren't you working for Trump as well? Come, let's kill this fool for America!" The enemy assassin responded with not so cool anime eyes.

"Huu, interesting. Sorry I can't let him die just yet, he has the location to the final lego piece.. I must know!" He screamed out with intense emotion, Rin's classmates started to tear up from the response.

"I see.. But that-" Before the enemy assassin could respond Rin yelled out and said "WHAT IS GOING ON?"

All eyes shifted towards him suddenly he let it all out.

"You know ever since my old teacher died everything has gone crazy! Even before that too! What's wrong with this world? THERE IS TOO MUCH GOING ON!" Rin quickly shouted and he was then stared at by everybody all at once.

In unison everybody in the room replied, staring blankly at him with cold-dead eyes.

"Don't wake up. Stay asleep. It's for your own good." They all said with a completely neutral voice, Rin puked up his lunch and ran out of the room with the eyes watching him as he left.

He quickly ran towards his house, he had to get away from all of this nonsense, everything that's been happening makes no sense to him, and he had to make sense of it. Or at least he had to try.

'Now that I think about it.. why would the police care about J-walking all that much? Why do people act so strange! It's like.. all of the events just clicked and I'm able to understand..'

At this moment in Rin's head, the cogs with dust started to roll, the machines were running, and finally, Rin has begun to awaken from his self created slumber.
