In a wasteland of nothing but blood stained sand and the wreckage of what once was an advanced civilization sat a man drinking his life away. He had been travelling for years in hopes of finding someone, anyone, but to no avail. All the man could find was the leftover liquor and food from the days of past, left in old broken down houses.
He smiled as he took a swig and swirled the cap onto it once more, using his two hands he sat himself up and put the alcohol into the bag on his back, readying himself to walk once more.
"What's the point anymore.. I should just die." The man clearly had drank too much as he walked in a stupor, continuously flailing about until he fell onto his face. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he quietly cried until the quiet somber tears turned into regretful screams, screams for help. The agony painted on his face told the journey his life had led him up to, it was clear, he had lost everything and had nobody to tell his story to.
The man screamed his lungs out knowing nobody would hear him until he slowly lost consciousness once more, this was a cycle for him that was as normal as the rising sun.
When he awoke once more he shook his head and smacked his cheeks in an attempt to awake himself to reality and ignore the grogginess his head was infected with.
"I just.. need to keep on going. Susan said that he should be waking up soon.. God's son." The man put on a fake smile and continued his journey onward, ignoring his pain and agony was the only way for him to live, and he knew that he HAD to live.
The world was currently devastated. Alien forces have completely destroyed the planet, the only survivors are in an infinitely restarting coma that was tailored for them to enjoy. What was left on the planet but ruin?
In a certain house was a man in a suit.. his white hair stained blood red, his face withered and deformed. He had put his all into protecting the planet.. he had waited.. and waited.. but his son never woke up. He believed to the very end that he would, he trusted his son would come save him, but the universe had different plans.. The only god the universe had known died and nothing changed. Was his presence even noticeable? Was his life even worth living? Would anything have changed if he had never existed? These thoughts flashed through his head in his final moments.
The travelling man walked onward for a few days until he too, met his end. He had drunken too much alcohol and died from it in the end, but just as he did.. a young man's eyes opened.
In what seemed like a laboratory in a capsule full of a water-like substance was a naked young man with dark black hair and a stunning physique, his sharp jawline further enhanced his handsomeness, if he wasn't a complete idiot that is. The moment the world had been waiting for, the moment that everybody had died for has happened. Rin has woken up from his eternal coma.
Rin's eyes changed from a dead white to blue. The entire world shook and a voice was heard throughout the entire planet.
"System initializing... Sand MMORPG Has been launched."
