After everything that happened with Rose, Reid, and all other stuff, Shaun’s final solution to everything was to escape. When he settled in the countryside, in a community near the sea, someone found him – Ellen.
She did not look for him or vice-versa but maybe the world decided for them to meet. Ellen was hiding because of what she did to Reid and Shaun was escaping his old life.
‘Aren’t we inseparable? How long have we been crossing paths? Fate must hate us to play us like toys.’, Ellen sarcastically said.
Shaun was cold towards her at first when they met at a local restaurant nearby. ‘I just wanted to scare Reid. I had someone try poisoning him but it turned out his evil deeds have caught up already. The man who I hired was a close confidant of Reid. But this man’s wife was actually raped by Reid in the past. So when the opportunity came because of me, he killed Reid.’
