Wait, what? Me opening his eyes? What the hell is this man talking about?
"Hn"
Thank you, Uchiha grunt. You are truly the most powerful technique for an awkward conversation.
"Anyway, is there any reason why you invite me here?"
Ozpin stopped whatever he was thinking and smiled at me.
"I'm sorry about that. Let us get to the reason why I invite you to my office."
Ozpin then looks at Glynda, who nods her head and takes out a piece of paper. She places it on the table where I can read it. It takes me a minute to read the paper.
"You want me to work as a professor here?"
"Yes. As you said, your revolutionary technology is needed for the future people. We were hoping you could teach them to the future generation. What do you think? We can also discuss the salary if you thought it was not enough for you."
"Sadly, I can't accept this job?"
"... Can I ask why?"
"I want to explore the world, and I still have some projects that I want to create."
"Project? Can I ask what kind of project?"
"I can't say that. At least not yet."
"I see… Is it the project you are working on that has the same size as your submarine?"
"I don't know."
I shrug and decide not to answer him. Not only because I did not trust him just yet, but also because I did not know what kind of project I wanted to do. I have yet to decide which one to choose.
I really want to build an underwater base right now and a futuristic bodysuit.
"Hmmm. How about fixing and upgrading our tech? A Freelance engineer."
"That's… not a bad idea."
While I have yet to trust Ozpin, I know the importance of a connection. A connection with the headmaster of Beacon Academy is a good thing.
"Great! And my first request is this."
Ozpin put down the blueprint I just drew earlier. It was the blueprint of a massive and compact solar panel that could gather enough solar energy to power this tower.
"Can you make what this blueprint says? CTT tower is the building that consumes the most energy in the academy. With the price of dust increased, I think it is the right thing to do to change the power supply of this place."
"Hmmm."
My power worked at a fast pace before coming to a conclusion.
"Yes, but it will take a long time. Two-no, Three months. Three months of construction. What is inside the blueprint is only a sketch I put together from what I saw inside this room. However, building an external power source should only take around two weeks to a month. I can put a solar panel farm nearby that can power the tower while preparing to make the solar panel from the blueprint."
"Why not put the solar panel farm on top of the tower."
I shake my head and say.
"No. It was different. This solar panel is more compact and more… powerful in absorbing the sunlight."
"Ah. Speaking of solar panels, this thing absorbs the sunlight, right?"
"Basically."
"Then what happens when the night comes?"
"Then the tower will use the power that is stored inside the power cell connected to it. A power cell is a giant battery that stores compressed energy that is ready to be used."
"Ah. Is it strong enough to power the entire tower?"
"It should be, but I don't know for sure. I need to see the generator first before I can know for sure."
"Hmmm. I can arrange that."
Ozpin nods his head and looks at Peter before saying,
"Peter, can you give mister Angelo here a tour to the engine room of the tower?"
"But of course! It will be my pleasure to tell this young man about my glorious past! Come, young man!"
"Bart, can you make sure Peter did not… go wild."
"Of course. I also have a few questions for him."
Oh god. Would you please give me strength for the incoming trial?

|3rd POV|
Ozpin sees Angelo get dragged by Peter with amusement.
"Do you think it was the right thing, sir?"
Glynda asks the headmaster. She still did not trust Angelo even when Ozpin said to trust him.
"Truthfully, I don't know. I only follow my instinct, and sometimes we need to trust our instinct as they are the ones that help us when we are in a dire situation."
".... I can't argue with that."
Even Glynda, who is strict with rules and logic, knows that instinct is something that she can trust, and she knows that Ozpin's instinct has never been wrong so far. He rescues Amber from certain death from his instinct; he predicts a new wave of Grimm coming from Mt. Glenn from an instinct or when Ozpin orders Glynda to Vale just in time to see Ruby fight against Torchwick.
She herself is saved from her instinct, especially when she is young and a little bit reckless.
"Not only that, as you can see in his blueprint, if what he drew can be created, the amount of dust from that generator alone can increase our defensive machine. Our turret's bullet has been cut by half by the council because they thought that the soon-to-be huntsmen could beat the incoming Grimm."
Councilman. That is the word both Ozpin, and Glynda really hate. Those groups of people thought that they would know how dangerous it was to be a huntsman because they met many huntsmen in their life. There is a reason why huntsmen rarely reach the age of seventy.
Even when an Aura helps a huntsman live longer, the danger they get from their job does not allow them to reach that age. The oldest hunter ever lived is a human man called Thomas who lived up to a hundred years, and even then, he still looks healthy. He died because he was killed by a wave of Grimm that attacked his village, not from old age.
"As much as I did not want to admit it, Angelo is correct. Remnant is in the age of stagnation. I already know that the world's magic is slowly depleted. I always thought that it would not do anything. Even at my age, I did not know the origin of dust. I always thought that it was the creation of the Gods. Maybe it was true, but I did not know how it was made. IF what Angelo says is right, then we need to prepare for the worst, and maybe we will finally be able to see the bigger world."
It was always his dream to see the bigger world. He wanted to go to space, but after hearing that dust was not working at a certain height, he and the rest of the world thought it was impossible and decided to put astrology to the side.
Ozpin always wanted to fulfill his childhood dream.
"I really want to see the star up close."
Even when that said dream will kill him if it was fulfilled.
