Chapter 20: Ragnarok Part 3

With Big Nicholas being activated, everything was falling to pieces as it wasn't exactly what was planned. Not only did Ruby, Yang. Pyrrha and Negative Weiss have to deal with each other. But they had to also deal with Scarlet, all while Blake and Jaune weren't there to back up RYP. Blake was badly beaten and bruised while Jaune needed time to recover from almost getting his ass handed to him by the Grimm girl.

Weiss gritted her teeth as she glanced over to a glass grandfather clock and inside the clock itself was an apple, this apple was what remained of Weiss and the control over the dream world. Weiss knew if she were able to destroy the relics that were hidden within the manor, it would prevent the real Weiss from waking up. This also seemed to be the case for the apple, but only differently, the Nightmare vines started to wrap around the summon doors Ruby and co had placed down to get to where they needed to be at.

"I need to stop this all, I cannot allow my plans to be ruined!" Weiss barked, she then sensed the Nightmare was in danger as she used two different glyphs that the real Weiss wouldn't be able to use, a teleportation glyph and one that allowed her to summon actual Grimm. These Grimm weren't your average ice Grimm, these were fully fleshed out ones, Weiss used the teleportation glyph as she appeared in the theater room. "I know you're here, you have to get through me and my army."

Scarlet was in the theater as she walked out from the shadows slowly clapping her hands. "Kihihihi, I see you've managed to come back to where it all started. I get it, you don't wish for the real you to wake up. You have full control over the dreamscape, and you have all of your precious friends locked up behind bars. But Ruby.... she seems to be the diamond to all of this, your prized jewel... but let me tell you this Weiss, no matter how you do it... you can't stop fate from taking what's dear to you." She noticed the Grimm as she smirked, she glanced over to Weiss and wags her finger at her. "Tsk, Tsk... you can't get me to believe that the Grimm will take orders from you. You're not as special as I am, you know that don't you? You may have the same traits and personality as the Schnee, yet... you're just a scared little child hiding under a big shadow."

Weiss scoffed as she pointed her sword at Scarlet. "If you know what's good for you, I'd hold your tongue. You think I'm scared of you? Just because you claim to know what Ozpin hasn't told us yet, doesn't mean you can scare me." In all reality, she was indeed scared of Scarlet. But she put on a straight face to show she didn't, in fact she knew that the only weapon she had on her was the guitar. It wasn't anything fancy like a knife that could turn into a pistol.

"Oh is that so?" Scarlet asked grinning widely. "Then let me show you something that my mirror version might or might not have." Scarlet's shoulder blades squirmed and wiggled around as her Nevermore wings ripped through her flesh and came out drenched in her blood, soon after her feet started to tear open as Nevermore talons. They too were also drenched in her blood, the sharp nails of her talons scrapped across the floor of the theater making a nails on a chalk board sound, she did this with every step she took.

Weiss winched as she glared at Scarlet, not amused by the sudden change. "You've changed your appearance, so what?"

Scarlet smirked as she wasn't fully done just yet. Her tailbone was starting to sprout out feathers. Nevermore tail feathers, as a fully lush black feathered tail had came out from her tailbone. Completing this transformation, a hybrid form more or less, the only small Grimm features she didn't have from any Grimm specious was the bone spikes and a Nevermore beak, but she didn't need all of that fancy features to be a terrifying life form. "Seven minutes. Seven minutes is all I can spare to play with you."

"What are you?" Weiss asked as she backed up a bit terrified now, Scarlet slowly approached her as Weiss was trying to defend herself by using her Glyphs.

Scarlet smirked again as she used Black Rose to deflect the oncoming attacks. "I'm your worst nightmare! Ah ha ha ha ha ha!"

Weiss backed up more as she bumped against the stage, she turned her head to the side as she noticed. Scarlet flew straight at her and had her fingernails up against Weiss' neck, she didn't kill her though.

"Beg for mercy." Scarlet said as she raised her leg up and grabbed Weiss with her talon foot, she closed her talon around Weiss' waist and slammed her on the floor. "I will finish you and the others off myself!" She grinned as she applied pressure to Weiss as her Nevermore claw dug into Weiss' back.

Weiss cried out in pain as she struggled to get free, but the Nevermore claw and talon were already too deep into her and hugged her tightly. "G-GAHHH!!!!"

Scarlet laughed as she flew into the air carrying Weiss in her grip, she cackled as she slams Weiss into the wall. "I don't care how long it takes to kill you in this world, you will fear me and know who I truly am! I am your worst nightmare. The demon who's under your bed and in your head, No one will save you from this nightmare. Ah ha ha ha ha ha!"

Weiss yelled in pain as she spat up blood. She gritted her teeth as she stabbed Scarlet in the stomach, her sword going through her and sticking out the other end, Weiss smirked as she yanked it out of Scarlet.

Outside in the real world. Weiss twitched and had blood trickling down the side of her mouth, Shion and the others took notice. Blake clinched her fist as she looked over at Shion, Jaune noticed as he saw Blake clinching her fist.

"We need to get back in there and help!" Blake snapped, she was about to walk over to the yarn like web but Jaune grabbed her arm.

Jaune shook his head as he looked at Blake. "We have to trust Ruby, Yang and Pyrrha. I'm sure they can do something... we've been beaten and bruised. If we go back in, there's no telling what will happen to us."

Blake scoffed, but knew Jaune was right. They had no idea what Scarlet would do to them if they went back inside the dreamscape to help Weiss.

"All we can do is hope and pray that they get out in one piece." Ozpin said as he looked at the damage Weiss was getting.

Shion nodded as they had to turn the hourglass upside down again so the sand would fall down the opposite way, this was the longest they have had to use their semblance. But it was worth it, they were just confused as to what Scarlet was doing and why she was tormenting Weiss and everyone inside the dream.

"Please everyone.... hurry..." Nora said as she looked over at the yarn-like web.

Back inside the dreamscape world, Scarlet flew out of the theater while she was still carrying Weiss. Weiss screamed in pain as Pyrrha and the smol versions of Weiss looked up in horror and terror, Scarlet cackled as she threw Weiss towards the ground. Weiss came down towards the ground fast as if she was a meteor ready to crash into the Earth. She burned up as she was engulfed by flames, hurdling down through the sky.

"Oh no!" Pyrrha gasped as she put one of the smol versions of Weiss down. "Wait here!" The redhead ran as fast as she could to the right area where she assumed Weiss would be landing at. "I can't let anything happen to her body, the real Weiss will take critical damage."

"Oh is that so?" Scarlet asked as she snickered, she stopped time for a moment just to get behind Pyrrha as she grabbed her by the back of the throat. "Tell me Pyrrha, what do you hope to accomplish if you do save her? She's not going to snap out of it, the Nightmare Grimm has its clutches wrapped around your friend."

Pyrrha gasped as she felt a sharp pain against her back. "If you kill her here in the dreamscape, we will all be trapped in Weiss' dream and with no escape."

Scarlet snickered again as she leaned over and licked Pyrrha's neck and then her cheek. "That won't be a problem for me Nikos." She smirked as she stabbed Pyrrha through the stomach. "Your destiny ends here Pyrrha."

Pyrrha was shaking as she looked down and saw Scarlet's hand sticking out from her stomach, her eyes shrank as she turned her head slowly. "Y....You...." She coughed up blood as she looked up. "I-I'm..... I'm sorry everyone...."

Rubby watched in horror from where she was at her eyes glowing with hate and anger. "NOO!!"

Scarlet smirked as she yanked her hand out of Pyrrha and licked her bloody hand. "What's wrong Ruby? Can't handle the fact knowing your friends are in danger, wake up. This isn't a fantasy world anymore my dear sister, this is just the way the world works. I am the conqueror of this universe and this entire world. Remnant will fall and I will watch the world burn! Ah ha ha ha ha!"

Ruby gritted her teeth as she was blinded by her own anger and didn't even see Weiss come crashing down to the ground. Which she did, Weiss crashed down hard as she gasped for air. Her hearing buzzed and rang as her eyes widened, she laid flat on her back as she was staring up at the sky.

Scarlet cackled as she glanced up and saw Big Nicholas still activated. "Tch, I'll deal with you later. But first..." She glared over at Ruby as she smirked. "You on the other hand, I'd advise you to leave now or I'll kill Yang just like I did with your friends... "

"Don't you dare hurt my sister." Ruby said with an angry tone, her silver eyes still shining as she glared at Scarlet. "I WILL stop you myself, you're no sister of mine or Yang's. You're just a freak, an abomination who seeks to hurt others and enjoy their pain."

Scarlet started to laugh again. "Ah ha ha ha! You're right, you're absolutely right. I love watching others suffer, it's a thrill ride and my own addiction to watch them suffer in pain and agony!"

Back out in the real world, everyone gasped and looked in shock and horror as they saw a gaping hole in Pyrrha's stomach and bruises on Weiss' body. Jaune clinched his fist as he was shaking.

"Dammit!" Blake barked as she gritted her teeth. "What the hell is going on in there?!"

Shion didn't know what was going on, they couldn't wake Pyrrha up anymore. They tried but she wasn't responding. "Damn."

Jaune grabbed his sword as he went in blind with rage and swung his sword cutting Pyrrha free, but as he did this. His blade also cut Yang's yarn and Ruby's.

"Jaune stop!" Nora yelled as she noticed what was happening. "If you don't stop, you'll ruin everything. Weiss won't be back from this Nightmare."

Jaune didn't hear her as he was focused on getting Pyrrha out. Once he did, he picked up her motionless body and bridal carried her out of the room, he was silent and didn't say a single word. Nora and Ren watched Jaune leave as they looked back at Ozpin and the others before leaving to join Jaune.

Blake scoffed as she clinched her fist tightly as blood trickled down her hand from how tight she was clinging her fist. "Shion, wake Ruby and Yang up now! Whatever is going on in Weiss' dream, it's harming us all."

Shion hesitated as they didn't want to risk having the two girls fail in saving Weiss, but with what Scarlet was doing to them, it seemed like Shion had no choice in the matter. They began typing as they were only going to be waking Ruby and Yang up. They knew if they woke Scarlet up right now, not only would a fight breakout within the room, but Scarlet would do more damage to Weiss' body than it already is in.

Back inside the dreamscape, Scarlet laughed as she watched as Ruby started to fade. "It seems you're running out of time sister. But don't worry, I'll be sure to give Weiss a proper... outing." She laughed again before walking over to Weiss' body and lifted her up by the collar.

Before Ruby could do anything, she vanished along with Yang. Negative Weiss groaned as she slowly opened her eyes as she looked at Scarlet, her eyes widen as she realized what happened.

"I can't be beaten, not so easily..." Weiss growled as she winched from the pain her body had took after falling from the sky.

Scarlet smirked as she threw Weiss aside and onto the ground. "Excuse me princess, but I have something to take care of." She flew off and she went to confront Big Nicholas, the battle went on for a long while with the giant robot. But Scarlet made sure to dismantle Big Nicholas to the very last nut and bolt, she laughed again as she glanced around before seeing Weiss crawling on her belly to one of the Klein doors. She ignored Weiss as she few back into the theater where the Nightmare Grimm was at.

"Now then, with no more distractions, let us begin the process." Scarlet said as she looked at the Nightmare and extended her arm out to the Grimm. The Nightmare glanced over to Scarlet as it reached out to her with its thorny vines.

"Not so fast!" Weiss yelled as she stood behind Scarlet but with her smol versions this time. "I won't allow you to touch it."

Scarlet turned her head as she smirked. "You're already too late Weiss." She hissed as she used her Nevermore talon to grab one of the chairs that was next to her and threw it at Weiss.

The chair hit Weiss as it knocked her back, the smol versions of Weiss charged in to attack Scarlet, but the Grimm girl used her arm to block their attacks as she then turned around fully to round house kick them out of the gaping hole. She smirked and walked over to Weiss as her Nevermore wings flapped, she stomped on Weiss with her talon and applied pressure to her body. "I took the liberty of killing Pyrrha, and I will be sure to do the same to you Weiss. Dream or not, you're tied into the strings of fate with your real body."

Weiss looked at her and could barely breathe from how much pressure was pushed onto her, yet she didn't want to believe that Scarlet killed Pyrrha. There was no possible way, this is what cracked her from Negative Weiss and her real self, the mirror shattered as the Nightmare Grimm was attaching itself to Scarlet slowly.

"Farewell Weiss, this dream of yours was turned from a dream come true to a true nightmare." Scarlet said as she smirked again before she vanished from Weiss' dreamscape.

Outside, Hero had woken Scarlet up with his own little computer as the feline kept everything hidden from the others. He looked at Scarlet as he saw her wake up. "Did you get what you were looking for?"

Scarlet nodded as she got out of the yarn-like web, she sniffed the air as she could smell Shion and the others in the other room. But that was okay because right after she had done what she did, the rift opened indicating that Queen was on the move again, which also meant that Queen wasn't in this version of Remnant. Scarlet looked down at her furry feline companion as they both went through it.

Ozpin and the others had no idea that the back room behind Shion was being used, but it was now empty. Scarlet was leaving that variation of Remnant for another area one that would hopefully have Queen.

"Where are we going now?" Hero asked as he sat on Scarlet's head.

Scarlet wasn't sure herself really, but she needed to find White Queen and put an end to her. She took a moment to think it over as she closed her eyes to ponder on where her and Hero would go next, her nose picked up a familiar smell all of a sudden. She opened her eyes as she saw a familiar figure looking at her, one that she thought she'd never see again.
