Chapter 35: Showing Tormund

The gleam of Rosario and Julie's armor alerted the remaining 9 members of their return from the cave. Ivana and Andromina completed what they were doing and moved to enter the cave to begin their own evolutions.

Rosario sent Julie off to get orders from Tormund on what her next assignments were. In the past few weeks, they had developed a structure where Tormund was considered Rosarios right hand man, under Tormund were Ivana, Bolog, and Sigurd.

They had decided to set up their new empire to be run as a clan, instead of calling Rosario emperor he would be referred to as clan head or Patriarch. Tormund being Rosarios voice when he was not around would be referred to as the Vice clan head or vice leader by clan members. For those outside the clan Tormund would be referred too as the Speaker.

Under Tormund would then be the high elders, these would be those who have shown absolute loyalty along with the competence to lead others. There would be high elders for all areas of expertise eventually.

Currently filling the High Elders role are Ivana, Bolog, and Sigurd. They represented the High Elder positions of ranged combat, close quarters combat, and architecture respectively.

Under them would be normal elders, these are those loyal to the clan but either do not want to lead or are better suited to follow than to lead. The rest of the group were all "made" elders. Currently they had no others, but they all knew that was not going to last much longer.

Rosario was in his house preparing to look through the gains they had made this past month when he heard a knock on his door. Calling for the person to enter Rosario watched as Tormund came in and seeing as it was just the two of them he skipped the formalities and sat across from Rosario.

"So, tell me how did it go?"

"The pool works as a treasure just as you and I thought it would. For both me and Julie it gave us second traits when we evolved."

Tormund sat up straighter in his chair, his eyes gleamed with excitement.

"Are they powerful traits orrrr?"

Tormund let his question trail off hoping Rosario got the hint.

Sighing and leaning back in his own seat Rosario removed the wrappings from his fact. Rubbing his hands on his face when he looked back at Tormund he was smiling wide.

"The traits both me and Julie received are powerful. She now has extremely enhanced senses, AND she can materialize wings like the Divas you told me about. She will become an amazing scout that should be able to get close to hear and see the enemy before they see her."

Nodding woodenly, Tormund was lost in his fantasies of the traits he would possibly gain. He was brought back when Rosario cleared his throat, as for me I gained the ability to use my blood to create more Celestial Asuras." Seeing Tormund's face fall, Rosario continued. "Before you tell me I have the pool, yes, I am well aware that we have the pool to help convert people who want to join the clan, however, think of this. What if while I am out traveling and come across those that want to swear fealty to me and join our clan. Now I don't need to send them back here but only need a little of my blood to evolve them.

"Your planning on leaving."

"…"

"…"

"That's what you heard out of everything I just said."

"It's a valid question."

"I know it is, but is it not a little off topic?"

"Not anymore."

"Anyways at first I thought it was redundant but after thinking about it I realized that it would be better if we only use the cave for those evolving and instead make it look like my blood is a potion that we provide them to change their race. Watcha think?"

"I think you should tell me when you plan on leaving."

Rosarios eyes almost popped out of his head from rolling them so hard. "I plan on leaving to explore the world once we have conquered this crater. I want to know the world and what it's like, I want to know who is out there, what empires, kingdoms, and other organizations there are. I want to know what the technology level of this world is and how far we need to be able to build ships to get to space. From there I will then return and either we conquer, or we advance ourselves without the world knowing of us."

Tormund stared into Rosarios eyes for a few seconds before he nodded his head once and spoke.

"I understand, I agree. Going out and seeing the world firsthand would be better than assuming we know. To answer your other question, I agree on that also. We should make it seem that your blood is a potion that changes them and not mention it is your blood or that we have the pool. Only the most trusted should have that information, plus the 11 of us that already know."

"What of your second trait, what is it?"

Rosario broke into a shit eating grin as he materialized the second pair of arms, it was so instinctual to materialize and move them. Without even thinking about it he was able to wield the two arms as if they had been a part of his body since should birth.

Tormund was flabbergasted, he stared open mouthed at Rosario who had stood up and was using his materialized arms to flex while keeping his normal arms crossed over his chest.

"You got the second pair of arms that is a characteristic of Asuras!"

Hurring over Tormund started closely inspecting the materialized arms until one of them flicked his forehead bringing him back to the present.

"You better go get ready for your evolution, but before you go I have a question. I unlocked my mana stat my mind stats reached over 100 when I evolved and now I have 100 mana and it says 1 acupoint open. Do I get 100 mana per acupoint and how many acupoints are there?"

"Congrats man that's amazing! And that is correct for every acupoint you clear out you will get access to another 100 mana."

"How many acupoints are there total?"

"It's not really known how many there are, the most ever found was 32, unfortunately that was by a royal family, and they refused to share that knowledge with the common people. To start, there are acupoints for each of your major organs. The one you 'unlocked' was the one leading to your heart."

"How do I find and open these other acupoints."

"You need to meditate and focus on the feeling of mana inside you, as you do not have a mana core ever time your heart beats mana is sucked in through your open acupoints from the atmosphere around you and sends it to your heart. From your heart it is then pumped through your mana veins around your body. The more acupoints you open the better."

Motioning back at the chairs they had vacated Rosario asked. "Please, can you tell me more about mana veins, acupoints, and cores. I want to know everything you know."

With a sigh Tormund sat down.

"Okay so…"
