/10/: Big Step

At that moment Arthur felt like his sister know him more than anyone else in this part. Elizabeth also knew Arthur feeling when it come up to family things. "Plus, you take Diana as your little sister, right? So you have to do it the same way with her mom… we're family now,"

"Right, okay. I'm sorry," Arthur remembered about his little sister Diana, even though they weren't related by blood but he did it because she's only 7 years old and now Arthur understand about Elizabeth's words.

"Yup, okay. I know you tired that's fine…" She's back to her joyful voice again. "But you have to attend the meeting after this. I don't know what happen but father didn't look happy today so be careful." She laughed again.

"Ahh...shit,"

The waiter knocked and came with coffee and bagel like Arthur request. "You should eat properly to maintain your health you know."

Arthur started to get annoyed with her because of her behavior, "Just shut up and leave me alone,"

He tried to get Elizabeth by pushing her out of his room, "Now, I understand why you don't have any girlfriend," She laughed again and now Arthur really push her out then locked the door. His cute sister always annoyed him for no reason at all.

After nobody around him anymore, he's drank his coffee slowly. Enjoy his silence moment and grateful because her sisters were okay and that small conversation get rid his tired and now he's ready to attend the meeting. He took a bath with hot water before and get ready for the next complicated problem with the parliament. 'Okay, now back to reality.'

Arthur walked to the meeting room with the formal attire, he's ready for the complicated meeting. In the hallway he met his mother, she was shocking when saw Arthur finally back home. Deep down in her heart she wanted to be mother figure for him. Arthur was the one who put a gap in their relationship.

That became an awkward situation for Arthur. He's not a family person even though he always care about them. Her mother in the same room but he need to act professional like how the hand of the king should be. He need to brought the topic about what happened in the last days. He took a seat and wait for the king to came in with his minister and all the council.

Just a minute after the whole room filled in by the people his father arrived. The king with all the council, Arthur stared at them and hoping there's a way to solve this problem. He's in charge with the military with his young age but Arthur didn't understand about anything else, that's why his father always said Arthur need to worry about anything else because this kingdom also need poltical and economical thought. His father didn't think serious about military aspect because these days wasn't war time

All the people in the room took a salute and pay respect for the king, too many things that Arthur didn't want to do, but bureaucracy would always exist. After all the session report and news, there's a meeting from the minister and Arthur is one of them. He waited for his turn to speak up.

"Now, We will hear something from our military leader." The king stared at Arthur, "Come, let people hear what happen with our army."

Arthur stood up and walked down in the center of the room, he stared all the corner. He wanted to gave some speech and also let them know what happened. "People, before I came up with the report, I will tell you something. Our King always said we're not in the war time, that dark time is not here anymore but just think about it for a second. What if there's someone tried to break the peace in our land? What if someone wanted to ruin the happiness from our soldier that die in the warzone? Do we really want that to happen!? I can't even imagine how they watched us from heaven, our mighty and holy soldier."

Arthur waited to see if his speech did any impact for them. It's out from his mind that every people in the room agreed even cried with his speech. He remembered the only way to make his father agree to him, he need to make everyone agreed with him. 'It's good, everything goes as I plan. I need to spill the condition for them. Maybe this is the only way to make everyone know what I'm doing.' Arthur felt confidence about it. At least he could give the condition at first.

"Now, the reason I said all of these is just because there's some people tried to break us apart! Lately there's someone missing in the army, and I assumed there's killer walk into this kingdom and tried to separate us. Here…" He showed the arrow that almost made him killed, and the letter in it. "It's an arrow that almost kill me the other night. There's also letter that write for me,"

The whole room held their breath, they couldn't believe it until Arthur showed it to them and read it out loud. Some people tried to think that they weren't safe even in their own house. "I brought up this topic because I wanted you people and my beloved King knows and aware about this kind of situation. I want everyone to remain calm as long as I'm the hand of the king, I will protect this kingdom no matter what it cost!!!"

The crowd went wild, and Arthur succeeded with his plan. He demanded to raise the guard even the winter had come. He couldn't rest and sleep with the danger out there. He wanted to protect the kingdom and his loved people. Everyone stood up and gave him applause, Arthur stared at his father.

'Finally I can make you agree to this one, I must protect this kingdom even though my own father make me work hard. Now, you have to take this to the serious father…'

He walked back to his seat, but he noticed something wrong. His father didn't gave any expression, it made him confuse. The people behind him also gave Arthur cold eyes. 'What happened now? What with that expression?' There's two people behind the King, the prime minister and great counselor. Both of them stared with cold eyes and suddenly smiled. Arthur knew there's something wrong and he needed to fix the situation before everything seems blurry. He afraid there's something he missed out. Even though now almost everyone in the council agreed with him, he needed to made sure there's nothing wrong with that.

The meeting continued but Arthur couldn't get it straight. What happened in the council room was something new for him. He felt uneasy and knew for sure there's something wrong with the situation. After the meeting he wanted to came to the King's room and talked about it. He walked through the hallways with a lot of mixed thought, he rushed and ignore everyone.

"My Lord, that was a great speech," Suddenly someone shouted to him right before he wanted to came in to the King's room. He looked back because he recognizes the voice.

"Prime minister!?" he shocked because he barely talked to him.
