The days had become monotonous, when he didn't know where to go, at times like these Ethan regretted being too proud to go with the other survivors.

But the positive side of his decision was that, in all his lost journey in the facility, no creature had attacked him, so at least he had gotten something positive out of his decision.

"What is that sound? " Ethan said to himself as he heard a grotesque sound, coming from the pile of bodies that were stacked a few feet away from them.

The sound was getting louder by the second, so Ethan and his lickers decided to go and see what was causing the grotesque sound.

At a slow pace, Ethan decided to approach the pile of bodies, but it was not pretty what he found in that place, since it seemed that what was making that sound was nothing more than a baby that was eating the body of a woman.

The baby was apparently a newborn, as the stomach of what was believed to be one of the zombies was open, implying that the baby had come out of its mother's stomach once it had become one of those creatures.

Witnessing such a scene, Ethan could not contain himself, as he fell to his knees at what he saw.

The shock of seeing a baby turned into one of those creatures created by the lab he was in was still not processed by Ethan's brain.

Adults turning into zombies wasn't really very painful to watch, but seeing a child turned into one of those things and more so a child who had not yet had a chance to live had really touched Ethan...a sensitive spot in Ethan had been touched at the moment of seeing that child and anger flooded his body again.

Ethan's body went on autopilot as his body went to attack the creature causing the irregularity on Ethan's head, who could do nothing but watch the claws grow on his body.

The claws of the hands had grown in astonishing disproportions when they looked more like eagle claws.

Ethan tried to shout, to avoid killing the baby, but nothing seemed to get him to take control of his body, at a monstrous speed Ethan's body without listening to how Ethan wanted to stop, took the head of the little zombie who was writhing and then crushed it, finishing with the creature.
