N/A: Don't be impatient Ethan's story will be back, this is just a part of Rebecca's perspective.
Once the 3 girls finished dressing, they came out of the locker room, this time wearing much more comfortable clothes, since the lab coat and the formal clothes they had on underneath the lab coat were not the right ones if you had to escape from some zombies chasing you to eat your brains.
Rebecca was wearing a white polo shirt and green pants, which reminded her of her days in the S.T.A.R.S. unit.
While it was not a recommended clothing when there are zombies that will always go for the exposed areas of your body to attack.
But that didn't really matter to Rebecca when she knew that even if you had clothes covering your body parts, the zombies' teeth would still get through and end up biting you anyway.
"Glad you girls are okay... "Izan spoke once he met the three girls coming out of the girls' locker room.
Izan could be a coward, but he showed some sincerity at the time of worrying about the welfare of the girls who recently were the cause of this alive, even the only one and the one he was most grateful that he was alive was Rebecca, but he did not plan to say that because he would stay until he died for the shame he felt.
"Finally some peace of mind...everything will finally start to get better "Izan said as he began to lean back in one of the empty chairs.
Rebecca "I wouldn't say that if I were you..."
"Why? "Izan said hesitantly at Rebecca's comment.
"Well that's why... "Rebecca said as she pointed in the direction of one of the entrances to the reception, where a large amount of purple mist could be seen coming, along with some zombies inside it.
Run!
Rebecca shouted as they went another way, but not before taking some weapons that were on the reception counter.
Rebecca leading the way for the others in her group ran out of the reception at full speed after seeing people begin to cough and convulse on the floor, before turning into zombies.
What is that thing!
Abby shouted in alarm as he began to panic.
Calm down, Abby!
Rebecca shouted while she made the girl and the other two come to their senses, they were so scared that they couldn't even speak, since recently it seemed that they were going to be fine... but now they had just seen how the people who were in the reception began to turn into zombies.
"Well now we must be careful while we look for a place to rest," Rebecca said as she tried to calm her group mates and herself.
Even if she didn't show it Rebecca was very scared, but her training in the special forces of the police helped her to have a cool head in this situation, otherwise, she would have been the first to die.
*sigh*
Seeing how everything was now calmer, everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they got some of the stress out of their bodies.
"Well we are calmer now...at least I think everything will be a little better "said Izan as he sat down on the floor.
"Seriously izan again...when I told you that these words always brought bad luck "Rebecca said while trying to see if something bad happened.
"Vez...nothing happened...it's just a superstition and nothing more...everything will be fine calm down "said Izan as he relaxed.
(Several minutes later)
Rebecca and her group, who had been resting for a few minutes, were getting ready to continue until Janeth's words alarmed them.
"Guys...I think something is coming "Janeth said as she got everyone's attention.
Sound* What
is that? They all wondered as they heard the screams of a person.
Guys run fast...don't stand still!
The screams of the person who was shouting was finally heard clearly when they were a few meters away from seeing the figure of lexis who was running with all his might, while many zombies were coming at a completely different speed than the zombies they had encountered at the beginning.
Run, don't just stand there!
Lexis said as she continued running...all of whom apparently had not heard Lexis' screams well because the walls were blocking the sound bounce.
Now he was running with all his might, as they searched for a way out of the dangerous situation they were in.
"What did you do now lexis "Abby said as she kept running.
"Apparently these are a variant of the zombies we encountered that must have happened because of the strange fog that was passing through the halls. Lexis replied.
Run this way! Rebecca said while pointing to a room that although it had no door, at least served to make a barricade with all the things that were there.
Come help! Rebecca shouted while pushing with all her strength a metal shelf, to block the door.
The shelf wasn't going to stop the zombies, so by moving all the things like cabinets and more shelves, they put them up so that it blocked along with the large metal shelf, which completely covered the door.
Once the barricade was set up, the minutes of suspense began, as they waited for all the things that were there to stop the zombies that had followed them.
1, 2, 3 minutes passed and the zombies apparently had not come at all, so the group of five thought they had not been able to get in, so they relaxed for the moment in that room.
"Well what a suspenseful time "Rebecca said before lying down on the floor.
Rebecca had played tough and unafraid, but that was all gone when she ended up limp on the floor, being seen by the other people in the group.
(Several hours later)
How long do you think it's been...will the zombies continue?" asked Rebecca while she was still stretched out on the floor.
"I think it must have been something like 3 hours," said Janeth as she looked at the pocket watch in her hand.
"well it's time to go...we can't stay in this place or we'll die sooner or later "Lexis said before being interrupted by the sound of metal being dragged.
What they feared the most had happened and the zombies were apparently about to enter, but contrary to their expectations what they found was a person or what they thought was a person because when they saw him they were alarmed and began to shoot him.
The
screams of everyone were heard when no bullet pierced the body of the zombie, which even if it looked a little like a human without the pale white color characteristic of zombies.
He still had terrifying features, such as the purple veins that stood out all over his body and the lead color of his skin.
"because they shoot at me"
They all listened to the humanoid-shaped creature complain, although the fact that it spoke their language made them feel calmer, it didn't make them drop their guard completely and they still had their eye on the invader.
N/A: well...that ends Rebecca's chapter, now we will continue with Ethan in the next chapter.
