The Black Flames...

The black flames bolted like a crazy lunatic in the sixteen cardinal points then to all omni direction dispersing its eternal horror. The ground outwards from Joshua was became turned expanded with a mass of corrupt flames, like life being quickly sucked away from the thousand years witch. So the flames madly eat away all life source from the earth.

It shoot up to the trees nearby and any trunk colour they were of, they were unceasingly burnt away by the relentlessly flames. Before even reaching the branches of the trees, the leaves lost its vibrant colour in that period and the a flames which wanted to swallow up all, when reached turned the leaves into patters of scattered ash.

Now, the soil. earth, the trees, the flowers, the rocks etc were all set ablaze and with no actual time to mesmerize the nourishing taste of the earth. The flames hurriedly out to incinerate like an anxious and hungry beast and its its formless movement were even more terrible than a actual wild fire.

The vice admirals who saw this and felt a rush of instantly risen heat wash over them had an immediate change in their expression.

"Don't let the flames come close!"

Onigumo swept the sabers along the sky and a 180 degrees pair of slashes appeared in the air. The two burgundy arc which looked like two equal divided symmetrical halves moved along the atmosphere. Its buzzing sounds caused the atmosphere to vibrate repeatedly as its continues as the fluctuation of sword energies radiate repeatedly.

The section of flames which was moving straightforwardly to Onigumo like many compact and distorted headless creatures unceasingly swallow every rock, flower, vine in its path. As if 'realize something was blocking its path, its flared out like beast provoked in its own terrain.

The black and red entities clashed and due to this, an immediate burst of wind nature moved right through air. The ground below was timely demolished, the trees went branches went back in one accord as many rocks and dust particles rush out.

Seeing Joshua acted the other vice admirals also acted, but the words spoke by Onigumo did not go on deaf ears for something was really off.

Momonga and Doberman trolled the air both to the west and east with their katanans, and with respective movement, a pink arc which which was about 10m long tore the earth, making crack spread out and the ground to lift up. Moved through along the the part of the flames which burst up from the ground to the air like a formless organism.

While this happened Doberman has jolted out an arc which was of the same as Momanga to the side the flames were sprinting, crawling, 'running,' every known and unknown away long the earth. The green which colour presented the life and nature of the earth rushed forwards to greet the black entity combust entity which wants to destroy it.

Comil who was now in south west angle, took low posture causing his navy coat to fluster in the air. He slowly yet quickly, cautiously yet strongly to the red earth before him. About a centimeter from the ground, the katanas which traveling along there releases its different pace movements. However, any where it moved, two wavy or intertwined red lines would be left of it.

It which look like the notes of loves, or portrayed the saying' life(lives) hanging by a thread extended to 5m out until it stopped. Then in the blink of an eye, it began to glow intensely, then right after that, it blasted out a formless range of red light.

Yamakaji who now opposed the flames which travelled like many 'keep evolving tentacles creature' at the north east side thrust his katana forward. Then a a brown energy was release moved across the air. When appeared again, the line widen into something of a compressed sword energy.

The dark destructive flame which was unceasingly scattering is horrific might was interrupted by the collision of the vice admirals attacks. The earth below side starting to rupture, repeated about of cracks broke into the ground blasting away the broken rocks which appear.

The fluctuation of air caused the flames devour the nature of the earth to blew back as causing a halt to take place. Some trees, plants, extended vines, roots which had a deep and forever scarred charcoal areas were uprooted from their numerous years of standing to a take flight in the air.

"We have to get to move back from out this area."

Momonga shouted with as his expression remains stern, all though they pushed back the flames a little. It is frantically pushing forward, as seen where the flames itself not only strengthen but also extended more up into the sky as if it what's to cover them.

Doberman cursed in a harsh tone, to move back because of a pirate this did not fit well with him. Also the flames conflagration is getting higher and higher and with its increasing might it is quickly surrounding them. Which is completely not a advantageous situation.

Comil carried the long katana in his right hand to the center of his figure which caused the blade craft to while flickering through colours of black, silver, grey. He then it to a side to forward formation making a 90 degree angle, which made the katana look like an one dimension figure.

Two clear glittering white light appeared horizontally across, his eyes and likewise his eyes, the clear light appeared in that same format little over the middle of the blade. Subsequently after he took a forward, making dust particles to raise and right after he flashed the blade forward then stopped at a approximately 120 degrees angle.

Momonga moon stepped out into the sky, Doberman and Onigumo dashed out into the distance, Comil made a great leap as well as Yamakaji. However, he then turn around then made a compressed air slash to the flame which wildly rush upward like at him.

Any time the move they would get instantly attacked by the flames, however it not last for a long period.

"Hateful... we had to fall back over 10km." Doberman gnashed his teeth as he spoke with utter cold in his voice. Almost over 10km they had to go back before come to a halt because the black flames has moved and covered along around or below that mass of a distance.

"These flames....," Momomga whose face had a touch more seriousness came to a pause after saying few little words.

"Can you feel it." Yamakaji who opened in his eyes asked with a gloomy and heavy pitch in his voice.

"That's right," Momanga gave an answered without looking directly at hi,.

"Not just you all, everyone can feel it," Onigumo answered in a cold and slightly solemn expression.

What can they feel...

The uncountable amounts of voices that whisper are roaming through the air and at timely whispering in their ears. Inflicting many negative thoughts, it was like the endless time down they were locked up in the abyss they are now expressing it. In the different forms like, sorrow, pain, hate, fear, agony etc.

The shouts or whispers, infiltrate one's mind then cause a mess by confusing it with these chaotic thoughts.

"Is it another sort of power or is it the black flames," Doberman gave a light frown as he said. When he faintly thought it through, it must be the flames, for when it appeared this was released. But how can this be, should his logia fruit not just radiate heat, how can it do this as well. Such a thing really made him frown.

"These flames are too weird," Yamakaji said as he squinted his eyes. The flames move too weird, it as if it have a will of its own. Like it, would form illusionary dark ghouls and it would roam through the area distributing its ghastly horror and while it nourishes on the earth.

"In addition to this, even though we have moved more than 10km out, the heat still feel its at its peak," Comil said an ooze of sweat running down from his forehead. More than that specified distance they have moved out to, but the heat of the flame is still terrifying. For this is one of the reason they retreated quickly, but the high intensity of the flame is still seems like it did not lessen.

"He has made his flame fruit to grow evolve into extreme heat," A hint of dangerous colour flashed across Onigumo eyes. As Comil said the heat is many times higher than any normal flame, the atmospheric layer has become an entity itself, one can see the many fold of air moving in a way pattern inn the air. Its like the whole air, or space became 'alive' and distorted.

"He must die die here today," Onigumo eyes flashed with intense killing intent. If Joshua continues to grow further, will be many problems for the navy. For he will stand and watch a threat of the marine go on living.

In a wide range area, massive charcoal flame that seemed thicker than norm was seeing all about surrounding by amounts of pressed slowly moving air. The large area where Comil caused some destruction to the earth was quickly filled up by the black flames. It was like a scene where he the defender tried to cause mass damage to the to many bug colonization but nothing really, has the millions of 'ants' quickly filled that spot.

At several points illusions like resentment spirts with different emotional expressions were seeing wondering the the dark ablaze area. Giving an image of of how the surrounding looked, they were many tall were covering in the galling irregular flames. Ever burning and catastrophic flames which seemed like would not perish if nothingness stopped existed.

The plants, roots, vines, grass, flowers, have all turned to ash and what was left was ever violent, severe and unstoppable pattering of fire. Even, the water bodies which in that area was being consumed and judging from the mark it was and where it lessen down to. It will be soon become vapor and the untamable flustering flames will replace.

At times the few giant trees which are few hundreds meters high which were are still standing would fall down which would thane be quickly covered by the black flames. It constant sizzling of the flames was so loud and wretched, that the hissing of snakes paled in comparison.

Not matter where you looked combustion of the cold, dark celestial fire roared mightily in the air releasing its mass of blacken smoke. Little to none in the parameter could be really located as the flames and the latent heat which caused the temperature to rise 10000 degrees boiled the earth, land and the sky.

Walking through this or even coming close, would be a suicidal attempt for even the dense blacken smoke alone will kill you. Something like this extreme task for the trial of fire, for the chaotic thoughts moved through the surrounding like a army of mad war beasts.

You can literally see, that which looked like ghosts by far more horrifying was seen in the formless face of flames which rampages through the land and extended to the air. The whole infernal furnace looked like a small presentation of the dark infinite, aflame layer of the underworld.

Even though it has expanded 10km radius, however, even though its impure, deadly flame moved somewhat slower than before. It is still spreading its malevolence, while reducing everything to ash.

Passing through a mushroom of compressed flame burst open releasing causing the area to before more and horrifying. But as it does that a thunder roar exploded and shadowy phantom of a two head mutated sabretooth was formed. In all this area, the flame just burns and it consume all, the darkness, of the day has was again risen from the shallows of the world.

There its it very depth, in the dark area, there were two white round bone chilling eyes which released no sort of human emotion. Just by the figure's stare, even the coldest of places would... shiver.

Going closer, the outline of Joshua's figure was formed surrounded by the black flames. His cloak was wildly blowing, his chains that were levitating were also burning and the sword which was in his right hand, had two interlocked and swirls of lopes going about it.

Joshua hair raised his eyes slowly and the left one which completely dead was seen when his hair flustered to another area.

With the same indifferent expression so he looked at everything before him nonchalantly. He doesn't care really, for this is the nature of his fruit. So with that thought pushed to the back of his head, he now focused at what is at hand.

Then right after that, behind a small spark of flame began to appear at different points, like dot outline of decagon shape. The small fires which looked like many lit candles began to grow into to spheres of flames. Now this scene made it look like the truth seeking orbs floating around the six path users. However what is different is that this orbs or ball of flames began to rotate.

"Weeping of the dead souls."

Just after those words were uttered, the balls of flame blasted of from their respective points.

They moved through the burning field with at a terrible movement speed. It was not just a simple spheres of flames, it like souls enclosed in it, for many dark corrupt souls flashed along the outline showing its many horrifying negative emotions.

The vice admirals who seemingly looked like they saw something eyes shrank. The balls of flames which around the size of a football had the height and width of huge size boulders. Which can be noted that they have massive expanded and there pacing seemed to have picked. Making it look like the evolved version of distorted fist.

All vice admirals hurriedly jumped from where they stood and just when they did that, two huge sized spherical balls fell instantly on the earth. Causing a instant splat to happen which they both burst open in to a over hundred of meters.

Yamakaji landed a great distance from where he stood but what greeted him was three more giant size weeping souls. He jolted his sword forward, then a vibrating motion began to occur that should innumerable green katana outline. At the near tip, a suppressed green spherical object was formed. It shoot off and as it moved it also got bigger. It which was smaller clashed causing the earth to broken up.

That time, Momonga flashed along a scene path away dodge the two which went after him. Doberman and Onigumo made a wave of air with both their katana and sabers at the two separate flames spheres which came their away. While Comil took a high leap into the air avoiding the last one.

However, it was not over yet, as hundreds of them now flying towards. Like comet or meteorite crashing from the sky, the dark souls which left residue smoke in the air banged down on the earth causing multiple huge size pits to occur. All individuals moved across their respective grounds dodging or defending against the orbs of flame.

" Do you think this can keep us..."

"Naive.."

Doberman who seemed to have multiple legs, speedily ran towards the place of blooming netherworld with his katana twinkling in his right hand. He not care how how the flame was, from he will stop from at anything to execute justice. He moved to the right side dodging the flame ball then right after he moved to the left.

Momentarily after he repeated he made a high jumped to the left side getting away from the dark soul then followed by that. He did an instant made instant flashed burst leaving only a zig ac blue in which seemed to look like the mark that represents lightning.

Through the falling of huge sized flames Doberman go and now what greeted him was to fiery 'comets' which moved at him in a colon pattern. he jumped to it unfearingly , twisted and moved right through it in a slow motion format. Luckily is did not touch him, however the heat radiated up it let him burst in sweat and many many section of his clothes received burns.

"The heat really too high."

Doberman landed then continued, it really too high just that alone caused such a feed back. However, when he was about to reach the dark infernal furnace, his face became solidified. He then instantly jumped to the side, then right after a concentrated flam spike which extended a few meters jolted from the ground.

"Flowing blade storm."

Doberman dashed around his blade then a torrent of winds around the earth three rings which gave the outline of a circular figure and there sizes would represent the asteroid belts of the solor system.

The winds of blades banging onto the many falling flames and disrupting the forming death spikes.

"Despicable brat" Doberman said with hate in his voice and a little ugliness on his face. Wanting to get close to the pirate because of attacks like this would become difficult.

"Be mindful of attacks from the ground," he shouted as he moved to another area.

Momonga burst right across the ground, a speed not picked up the naked eyes, because of such movement speed a circle of air was formed and the earth he sank. Where he moved along, a line or row of dark spikes thrusted from the ground into the air. He who stood in the sky frowned lightly, what he was now looking at was the barrage of fiery flames moving downwards.

It does not take much thinking the realize that weather ground or air, the attacks will still come.

He then placed both katanas in a parallel line and horizontally to the right side of him. His navy cloak flustered lightly and his two bent moustache also undergo some movement. The lengthen spikes and the falling 'asteroids' came but Momonga still just stood there.

Subsequently after that, both his swords and the outline of his body started to glow with a white aura.

Momanga carried back the katanas and when he did that, an illusion of Japanese fan (Uchiwa- whats it is called) was seen. The folded pan which made with bamboo frame showed most of the area being black and only this small segmented tree which has seemed to have withered for generations.

"Forgotten Oath."

Momanga tighten the grip on his katanas then cleaved them along the sky. Then what appeared after, was a long mighty slash which radiated a misty white aura. The slash moved out clashing with the falling fiery orbs and the extended spikes. It which have disappeared, and what appeared was a gigantic arc of wind which slash through everything.

It which have extended to the earth destroyed surface ground to a kilometer out, wiping out not only the land but also everything there. Then the white arc which have disappeared, appeared after the 'crime scene.'
