Angry Sakura.

The next day, after classes, Megumi skipped across the street as he followed Tsunade on their trip towards the Hokage building.

"Tsuna-nee!"

"What happened?"

"Why are we going towards the Hoakge building? Shouldn't we be going to the training grounds!?"

"No, even Mebuki, Kizashi, Shizune and Sakura are there."

"Why?"

"Because the Hokage has an announcement to make."

"Oh!? Announcement? About what?" Megumi asked.

"Why do you think I'm taking you there? I don't know what it's about myself, that's why."

"I understand, but what announcement would require the entire village to be present under the Hokage building?"

Megumi was puzzled since people from all around the village were moving toward the Hokage office.

"I don't know, maybe he wants to inform them about the upcoming chunin exams?" Tsunade reasoned.

"Hmm…but why would the civilians in the village care about that?"

"I dunno, we'll be there in a few seconds then we can see."

"Okie!"

Tsunade and Megumi moved silently toward the Hokage building and before they could merge into the crowd around the base of the building, they were stopped by an excited Sakura.

"Hey!! Tsunade-sensei! Megi!! Here!!" Sakura shouted waving her hands to catch their attention.

Tsunade waved back and began to walk towards Sakura who was standing with the rest of the family and Shizune.

"So? Do you know what the announcement is going to be about?" Megumi asked Sakura with little excitement but Sakura only frowned.

"I don't know. I tried bribing a few people to learn about it, but everyone seems to think this announcement came out of nowhere."

"Nowhere? How so?"

"The people I bribed all haven't even gotten a whiff of the announcement beforehand and that's saying something when I even bribed the receptionist."

"Hmm…maybe it isn't the Hokage performing this announcement in the first place?"

"Hmmm…maybe?"

"I think I know what the announcement might be in that case." Megumi nodded to himself as he guessed what the announcement was likely about.

"What is it?" Sakura asked but before Megumi could answer, a figure stepped out on the balcony of the Hokage office.

Looking down on everyone, Minato spoke with conviction clear in his tone as if he was trying to fight off an agenda.

"Good afternoon my dearest citizens of Konoha! Today I come to you with an announcement that could change our lives. But all throughout this announcement, I want you to remember that the Will of Fire of Knonoha burns bright in each one of you! And it is only because of you that the village of Konoha has lived to become this strong!"

*clap* *clap* *clap* *clap*

"The announcement ahead will be done using the Haruno store's latest sealing advancement by an important minister from the Daimyo's court."

Soft claps thundered across the office as Minato chose to step down from the limelight allowing a holographic projection seal to activate in his place.

A middle-aged man appeared on the Holographic seal surprising those who knew of him.

But most people remained confused until the people beside them reminded them about the identity of the messenger who was dressed ornately.

"He's the finance minister in the Daimyo's court!"

Sakura's eyes widened as she immediately realised what the announcement was about.

She clutched Megumi's hands tightly as she adopted a nervous expression that felt like someone was waiting to deliver impending bad news to her.

"Why are you worried about it?" Megumi whispered without disturbing anyone and squeezed Sakura's hands lightly.

*shake* *shake*

Shaking her head Sakura indicated she would speak about the matter later and focused on the next words of the Minister.

"Greetings to all the citizens of the fire nation present here in the gathering and to those in their homes."

"I am the finance Minister of the Daimyo's court and have come bearing an important message straight from the Daimyo that could decide the future of the entire Fire Nation."

Giving a soft pause the Minister seemed to be analysing the group of people below him even if he couldn't see or hear them.

"From today onwards, no citizen of the Fire Nation that learns how to use chakra will be forced to participate in the shinobi nation's trifles and wars!"

"You are now free to learn how to use chakra in day-to-day lives and will not be forced to participate even in the missions of the village."

A stunned silence washed through the crowd as the Finance minister let the words he had just spoken sink in.

Immediately afterwards, there was a thunderous applause that echoed throughout the entire village as people cheered and shouted causing Minato to look upset due to the political appeal that the Finance Minister had obtained in the short few sentences he had spoken.

"And during active war efforts, only those deemed capable will be chosen to fight!" The minister continued causing the select few who truly understood the meaning of these words to tense up since it meant that anyone could be chosen for the fight at any time.

The majority of people still cheered thinking that they would be free from war just like the civilians in the capital who knew nothing about it and smiled happily as they shouted encouragements to the finance minister, even though he couldn't hear them.

"All hail Lord Daimyo!"

"Yaaaayyyy!! Lord Daimyo is the best!!!!"

The minister then waved his hand vaguely towards the crowd and with a little flicker, vanished in front of everyone.

Noticing Sakura beside him was fuming, Megumi pulled her closer and with Mebuki's permission, he teleported away to their castle.

"What happened?" Megumi asked Sakura.

"How can they do that?!" Sakura shouted with a frown on her face causing Megumi to recoil a little from the loudness of her voice.

"I expected them to increase the strictness for people to join the ar efforts, not loosen them! This was neither will Konoha be able to train strong and capable shinobi, nor will any army composed of such weak shinobi be able to win a war!"

"Calm down! I'm sure the Hokage is already working on this problem!" Megumi said trying to calm Sakura down.

"What calm down! We're already heading towards a large-scale war because of Hagoromo! And now we have weak armies!? It's almost as if the daimyo is working together with Hagoromo!" Sakura complained but then froze on the spot.

"Wait! You knew that this was going to happen! How did you know!? Did you actually see the Daimyo work with Hagoromo!?" Sakura asked as she immediately turned around and looked at Megumi.

"Well…kinda?"

"What do you mean kind of?"

"The Finance minister has the cursed seal on his neck and I don't doubt that the Daimyo is being controlled by placing him under a genjutsu using the Sharingan. Probably in the same way, Obito controlled the third Mizukage"

"What?!"

"It's true?" Megumi nodded slightly unsure.

"And why haven't you done anything to help him yet!?" Sakura asked suspiciously.

"Well, I have two reasons, number one being I don't know how to break him out of his genjutsu, and number two being, the Daimyo although seems like a linchpin in their plans, he's easily replaceable. They could very well start a coup to overthrow the Daimyo and replace him with the finance minister."

"The only reason they don't do it is probably because it will cause some amount of turmoil and why should they do it when they have an easier way to rule the nation from the shadows."

"How…*sigh* when did things become so complicated?" Sakura mumbled with grievances in her tone.

"Wanna have some fun!?" Megumi asked in an excited tone.

"Fun? What fun will I have in this decrepit situation!?" Sakura complained.

"Trust me! It will be quite fun!"

"Hmpf. Fine, I'll do whatever you ask me to." Sakura folded her hands dissatisfied.

"That's the best part! You don't need to do anything." Megumi then held Sakura and was about to teleport away but Sakura pushed him faster than he could blink his eyes.

"How dare you try and teleport me using that stupid jutsu of yours!"

Megumi took a few steps back so that Sakura's attack would miss as he scratched the back of his head a little innocently.

"Sorry, I forgot." 

"Hmpf. And I thought you were about to do something fun."

"It is fun! Trust me!"

"..." Sakura switched on her Universal Sage mode with some effort and then held her hand out for Megumi.

Holding her hand Megumi teleported them high above their destination.

"Wha-!!!!!!"

Sakura looked below and all around herself only to become shocked.

"This- this is Mugenjutsugakure!?"

"Haha! It is! The people decided this would be a fun little project and made this! The inauguration ceremony is tomorrow and after that, it'll be opened to the public."

"Wha-!" Sakura's head snapped in Megumi's direction as she opened and closed her mouth like a goldfish. "Seriously!?"

"Yep! So how does it look? Fun right?" Megumi teased as he pulled Sakura a little closer to himself.

"This, this looks amazing!" Sakura exclaimed as she stared at the beautiful view in front of her. "We can use this now?"

"Eh, I'm sure we can, I helped them build it after all!"

"Then what are we waiting for!?"

Around Sakura and Megumi and underneath them was something from Megumi's world that Sakura instantly recognised.

They were amusement park rides. Both tall and short, wide and long.

Several water slides with multiple roller coasters and a large pool waited for them, all ready and functioning to be experimented with for enjoyment.

Sakura pushed Megumi and dove straight into the large pool that was in the centre of the park.

"Yaaaaaaiieeeeeee!" Sakura shouted excitedly as she dove through the air and finally splashed into the water creating a huge rebound splash that even reached Megumi who was floating twenty feet high in the sky.

With a shake of his head, Megumi allowed himself to drop into the pool as he swam close to Sakura and customarily pulled her attention as everyone did when they were in a pool, by splashing water onto her face.

"Hehe! That was fun!" Sakura laughed as she splashed water in Megumi's direction once more.

"How are you going to clean the water?" Sakura asked a little confused.

"The storage seals will store away the water and then chakra will be poured into the seals on the walls of the pool to generate more water."

"Oh? I understand." Sakura nodded as she observed the seals on the walls all around the pool.

"What do you want to do next?" Megumi said opening his arms towards the variety of rides that were all around the pool.

"Let's start from the lowest ride and go to the highest one in the end!?"

"Sure." Megumi nodded as they pulled themselves out of the pool by using chakra to walk on the water and reached the first ride.

A roller coaster that dove into the water and came back out.

"This will be fun to do when we have more friends here."

"I can invite the lot from the class next weekend? What do you think?"

"Hmm…sure…"

"Then let's have fun ourselves for now!" Megumi exclaimed as he climbed into a coaster car that he pulled Sakura into.

"How are they moving on their own!?" Sakura exclaimed as she saw the Roller coaster moving by itself.

"Hehe, fun right? It uses storage seals in a clever way."

"Oh? How does it work?"

"The storage seal is slowly storing a rope that the roller coaster is tied to and once it reaches the end, the coaster will drop at full speed!"

"Hehe! I can't wait!"

Sakura and Megumi then spent the rest of their day having fun while a few people maintaining the park enviously watched them as they had fun for a few hours.

"Phew! That was fun! We should call Tsunade-sensei, Mom, Dad and Shizune to this park next week too!"

"Why don't we also call the parents of all the students in class?"

"Hmm…true, you can teleport them directly to the park using your Hiraishin jutsu too."

"Yep! It'll be so much fun!"

"Hehe! I can't wait to tease Ino and Tenten!" Megumi chose to ignore that sentence since Sakura made a weird smile that creeped him out as she said those words.

"To a bright weekend!" Megumi cheered as he clinked his mango juice can with Sakura's.
