"Your majesty I sent out three of my warriors to deal with the crown prince, but it seems that he managed to evade them. One of them came back with a burnt arm while he seemed to have evaded them. I am sorry for their incompetence, I shall deal with them appropriately." General Vulen knelt before the Queen Lyra as she sat upon her throne.
"We can deal with the crown prince when the chance comes to us, for now I would like to know how you did with their town of Silvervane. I heard a rumor that the Kingdom of Cadirade's people have even given you the name of the Silent Butcher." Lyra laughed as she spoke about Vulen's new nickname among the people of Cadirade.
"My queen, Silvervane has been destroyed. I personally saw to the fact that everyone there was slaughtered. There may have been a few escape in the chaos, but the town itself is in ruins by my own hands!" Vulen smiled brightly up at Lyra as he spoke of the massacre he had done to the people in Silvervane.
"Very good, my sweet Vulen." She smiled seductively to pull at the general's heart strings. Her slender figure leaning to the side to make herself look more enticing as she thought for a moment. Her cold eyes feeling as though they could pierce a person's soul if given the chance.
"Of course, your majesty! I shall do anything my queen asks of me!" He declared loudly. The elders in the room started to whisper to themselves silently. It was obvious they were whispering about Vulen and the queen, but they were too quiet to hear and Vulen did not care what they had to say about him. The only praise he felt a need for was from Lyra!
"Tell me about this beast you said they came across." The queen ordered calmly as she glared down at Vulen. He body releasing a cold chill in the room as her long white hair swayed in the air as she moved.
"Yes, my queen! My men told me that the crown prince was traveling with a large beast. They said it was a wolf. They claim it to be a shadow wolf from the legends! I do not know for this to be a fact or not, however, the beast apparently was powerful enough to body slam my own archer unconscious just from shear force alone!"
"A shadow wolf?" The queen snarled her lip up at the thought of something like that existing in their realm. Her hand gripped tightly on the arm of her throne. Her grip was so tight that her power leaked out causing the chair to freeze below her. The air in the room dropped so steep that everyone in the room could see their own breath as they breathed. Some of the people quickly left the room in fear that their queen could accidentally freeze them to death if she lost her temper!
"Your majesty if the beast really is a shadow wolf this could spell disastor for the kingdom of Ethiadan!"
"The beast must be dealt with as soon as possible!"
"Aren't shadow beasts extinct how could that beast have been a shadow beast?"
The elders in the throne room had all shot up in chatter about how the wolf needed to be dealt with as soon as possible if it really as a shadow wolf. The entire room's chatter had become complete chaos with many arguing about how to deal with the problem before it got any worse. Lyra started to get annoyed at all the noise around her as she tried to think. She felt as though they had forgotten that she was the queen!
"Enough!" She shouted at them all. The air feeling as though everyone would suffocate from lack of oxygen. Many of the elders shuddered in fear as they felt they had angered her and if they weren't careful she'd simply kill them for acting rashly in front of her.
Vulen's eyes seemed to sparkle as the fierce image of Lyra simply made him shudder from excitement. He was not like the others who feared the queen when she was angry. Anyone who looked at him would simply have the urge to shake their head and utter one word 'masochist!' at the sight of him smiling lustfully at the queen as she nearly suffocated the elders to their death.
Many of the elders in the room gasped for their breath as the air finally let up around them. They were thankful the queen let them off without killing them. Their eyes glaring angrily at Vulen and his disgraceful attitude in the room. Everyone was aware of how the elf general saw the queen and many of them were disgusted by it. They all figured a long time ago that the man simply just liked to be dominated. It was the only excuse they could think up for reason why the man would hold on so tightly and let himself be pushed around like an animal, a tool, to be used at her beck and call.
"General Vulen, we need to learn more about this beasts that is hanging around the crown prince. I do not want to act brashly right now. I expect you to gather intel on this beast in however way you see fit, but do not lead them on to what we're up to. I simply want to know more about the beast before deciding how to act in such a situation. If this really is a shadow beast then we will need to tread carefully to deal with it." The queen declared as she glared at Vulen.
"Yes, my queen." Vulen bowed to Lyra and quickly turned to leave the throne room to debark on his next mission.
"That man is such a fool! Queen why do you toy with him like that? It's such a disgusting thing to watch him drool over you like that!" one of the elders walked up behind Lyra and sighed heavily at the thought of Vulen.
"Simple... That idiot is useful to me. He has followed me around since childhood. As long as he gets a pat on the head like a dog he's one of the best tools at my disposal right now." She smiled coldly as she glared at the door where Vulen had ran out from like a puppy that had been praised.
"The General is lucky he is as useful as he is!" The elder shook his head.
"Of course, if he wasn't I would have disposed of him long ago!" She turned to smile innocently up at the elder. Her body twisting seductively towards him causing the elder to turn away embarrassed by the queens actions.
