In an unending void filled with a mesmerizing blend of iridescent colors, a gap suddenly materializes, and a woman emerges from within. She possesses dark golden eyes, and long blond hair, and carries a pink parasol. Her attire consists of a pink and purple dress, complemented by a pink bonnet adorned with a thin red ribbon.

"Where am I?" the woman wonders, surveying the endless emptiness with its captivating hues. This woman is none other than Yukari Yakumo, the protagonist of our story, reborn in this extraordinary realm.

Before her, another gap opens, and a majestic Western Red Dragon emerges. Recognizing the dragon as the Great Red, Akira—now Yukari—realizes that this must be a Dimension Gap.

The Red Dragon has come in response to a disturbance in dimensional space, drawn to investigate its source. As the dragon's gaze meets Yukari's, a voice resounds within her mind.

[ Human? No, a Youkai? Why is a Youkai here? ]

Startled, Yukari looks at the dragon and exclaims, "Can you hear me?!?"

[ No need to shout, Youkai. I can hear you, ] the Great Red responds.

Surprised by the telepathic communication, Yukari gazes at the dragon in awe. Once again, the voice of the Great Red reaches her thoughts.

[ So, Youkai, what are you doing here? And how are you still alive? ]

Caught off guard, Yukari offers a half-truth, half-lie, saying, "I opened a Gap and appeared here. As for why I'm still alive, I don't understand it myself."

The Great Red ponders Yukari's response before addressing her again.

[ You can open a Gap? What kind of Youkai are you? I don't recall any Youkai with the ability to open Gaps. ]

"I am a Gap Youkai," Yukari explains. "I possess the power to manipulate all boundaries, and opening Gaps is one of the applications of my abilities."

The Great Red appears perplexed, as he tries to recall if there are Gap Youkai within the Youkai faction in the Human World.

"You've asked me numerous questions. Now it's my turn. Who are you?" Yukari asks, realizing her mistake a little too late.

[ Alright... Humans refer to me as the Dragon of Apocalypse and the True Red Dragon Emperor, God of Dreams—The Great Red. And who are you, Youkai? ] the Great Red responds, answering Yukari's question while posing his own.

"As for me, my name is Yukari Yakumo, the Gap Youkai. A pleasure to make your acquaintance," Yukari responds in a sultry voice, assuming Yukari's identity.

(Please note that I will refer to the main character as Yukari from now on.)

[ Hmm... A pleasure to meet you too. It's time for me to depart, ] the Great Red States.

"Oh? Are you already leaving?" Yukari remarks.

[ I merely came to investigate the disturbance within my territory. Now that my task is complete, I wish to resume my journey, ] the Great Red explains.

"I understand," Yukari says. She ponders the dragon's departure and thinks to herself, 'So, the Great Red possesses a rebellious nature.'

The Great Red opens another gap, takes flight, and disappears into it. Observing this, Yukari opens a new gap and thinks, 'Now it's time for me to explore a new world.' With that thought in mind, Yukari vanishes from the dimensional gap, ready to embark on her new adventures.
