1 01 - Reincarnation and Wish

Akira, a seemingly ordinary student with average grades and appearance, found herself in a perplexing situation as she realized she should have been on her way to college. She turned to face the vast darkness and twinkling stars around her, wondering why she was still there. Suddenly, a brilliant ball of light emerged, forcing Akira to shield her eyes. As the light faded, she heard a gentle, female voice.

"You're dead, Akira," the voice declared.

Startled, Akira inquired, "Who are you? And what do you mean I'm dead?"

"I am what humans refer to as God," the luminous ball responded. "To address your second question, the train you were on was involved in an accident, and unfortunately, only you lost your life while the other passengers survived."

Akira paused for a moment, processing the information, before asking, "What happens to me now?"

"There are two options," the divine entity explained. "First, I can reincarnate you in your previous world, erasing your memories. Second, I can grant you a second wish and reincarnate you in a different world, preserving your memories."

"May I have some time to consider my options?" Akira requested.

"Of course," replied God in a soft voice.

After pondering for five minutes, Akira resolutely declared, "I have made my decision. I wish to be reincarnated into another world."

The God smiled, despite being in the form of a ball of light, and inquired, "Very well. What are your desires?"

Without hesitation, Akira answered, "I hope to be born as Yukari Yakumo, with all her experiences and abilities."

God acknowledged her wish, stating, "Your wish shall be granted. Oh, and the world you are about to visit, DxD, is one of your favorites."

"Is it truly real?" Akira asked in astonishment.

"Yes," the God confirmed. "The world you believed to be fictional is, in fact, real. It simply exists in a different realm, and sometimes, the gods create fiction for their own amusement, such as anime and novels."

Overwhelmed by the revelation that her beloved books and anime were the creations of gods, Akira fell into stunned silence.

"Now, it is time for your reincarnation, Akira," said the God.

"Thank you, God," Akira expressed her gratitude.

"This is my duty," God replied. As the light grew brighter, Akira's presence faded away, being whisked off to her new existence.

The story continues with Akira's reincarnation into the world of DxD, where she embraces her new identity as Yukari Yakumo and embarks on thrilling adventures, wielding her newfound abilities and experiencing the wonders of a world once thought to be mere fiction.
