Link didn't show mercy as he killed everyone. Some even went as far as to use Samuel and the rest as hostages, but he didn't go far. "They're nothing but minions, i need to find the head" Link thought as he watched workers using simple magic and tools to patch up the house. It looked like a bomb went off inside as parts here and there were destroyed and blown to bits.

Anny, Lisa and Rena were not coming home until late, so Link sent his Beast Souls to keep an eye on them. Samuel, Sal and Robart made a full recovery with ease due to Link's superb healing magic. Sal and Robart left while Samuel sat down with a gloomy expression.

"What's wrong?" Link approached him and asked.

"Nothing. It just seems like every time something happens I can't do anything" He said, looking at Link "It was the same with the situation with Peter. You always show up to save me"

Link didn't really know what to say. It was not Samuel's fault, as even if he didn't solve the problems, he did deal and acted better than many people would have, but the issue was that he kept on comparing himself to Link, a reincarnated person with a god on his side and an odd powerful seed with a system. "You always did great, better than any adult…" Link was interrupted as he was trying to console him.

"What about you then?" Samuel asked "You not only think and plan like an adult, but you're stronger than many. This was the deal since we were children, you always acted the same. Composed and smart" Samuel said.

Link didn't really know how to answer him, as the real reason for that was not something he would tell anybody for as long as he stayed in this world.

Silence filled the place as they both sat there and watched the workers do their jobs. Link couldn't think of anything to say, and it didn't matter how much he wanted to tell Samuel the truth, he couldn't break the unwritten rule he set for himself a while back.

"This might affect Samuel somehow. He might become depressed or something" Link thought to himself.

Wam!

Suddenly, Samuel slapped himself in the face. "Yosh!" He yelled out. Link just looked at him in surprise. "What're you doing?" He asked.

"Nothing! Just waking myself up, sorry for what i just said. You wouldn't be a worthy rival if i beat you easily" Samuel said, putting a smile on Link's face.

"There you go, I won't be making it easy for you" Links said, wrapping his arm around Samuel's neck.

"Sir, the delta squad has been wiped out. The exact details of the event are unknown, but it is presumed that this was due to that kid's actions" A man dressed in a black robe with his face covered entered the same shabby room.

"What?" the man sitting on a chair said, standing up. His robe was darker in color, as the image of a snake or a viper was drawn on his robe's shoulder. "How were they wiped out? Why did you not provide reinforcements?"

"Sir, we had no time" The man explained. "The moment we noticed the situation, the fight already ended"

The leader sat back down on the chair, looked up at the man and said. "Get me everything you can on this kid, his family and everyone around him" The leader's voice no longer showed any emotions.

"Understood, i'll get my men on it immediately" Before he could walk out, he heard the leader speak.

"No" He said with a serious tone "I want you to take care of this personally"

"Understood!"

The sun sneaked into Link's room, as it woke him from his sleep. He could hear movements from downstairs, as his mother and sisters were already up, preparing breakfast and talking. Link found clarity and calmness in this, as he felt comfortable just hearing their cheerful laughter. He really viewed them as his second family, and he swore to himself that nothing will and can happen to them.

Going down the stairs, Link was approached by Lisa with a smile. "Good morning!"

"Morning Lisa" Link said, looking at the now fully prepared table. Food of all kinds sat on it as Samuel waved at Link from the side. "Morning Link!"

"Morning sweety!"

"Morning bro!"

After a heart filling breakfast, Link started with his work. The day was sunny and clear, as the clouds covered some of the sun rays and protected people from the heat. "It's already summer, huh!" Link thought to himself "Maybe i should take everyone to swim in the weekend"

Wosh! Wosh! Wosh!

Black shadows moved from roof to roof as they watched Link from a distance. "Is that him?" One of the shadows asked.

"Yes!" Another answered.

"He's the one that wiped out the delta squad? Are you sure?" He asked with a frown.

"Affirmative sir!"

"He just looks like a pretty boy, how was he able to go up against the delta squad. They were not your run of the mill men" The man commented before he stopped talking and focused on what he was doing.

Link went from shop to shop, purchasing food and clothing. He always stocked his Inventory with such things just in case a situation required their need.

<You gonna deal with your new fans or not?>

"They didn't act and only kept watching me" Link muttered in a low voice "I'm not in a hurry. Maybe they'll lead me to the leader of my new fan club later when they go back to report"

<Smart!>

With Zasho and Thaya keeping his family company, Link had no more worries. In this continent Beast Souls are not that strange, which was why sending his beast souls to follow his family around wouldn't seem that strange to others.

"What's pissing me off right now though is that I won't get the chance to go into a dungeon" Link said, letting out a long breath.

With his new stalkers. Until he finds their leader, Link wouldn't be able to enter dungeons anymore, for the slim chance that they would try something in his absence. With that being said, the only thing Link could do now was study, and that is what he did.

The magic store had everything a magician would need as long as he or she had enough coins. With the new Craftsmanship tab opening, Link had an interest in the rest of the greyed out tabs, and so he decided to learn a new craft.

Alchemy!

This was one of the easiest crafts out there, or that was what most people believed. Its needy and pricey demands were not something anybody could meet. Although that was the case, Link had no problem with it. As the fortune he accumulated until now wasn't anything to scoff at. He chose this craft specifically due to the memory he had of his old system. He could remember how easy and proficient alchemy was. Which led to him wanting to try it out, for that small chance he would unlock something similar to what he had back then.

After purchasing a couple of books, Link sat inside the Shop and directed all his focus on the 'Alchemy for dummies' and 'The basics of Alchemy' Books. Missing the strange hooded man that entered through the black door. The same one and probably the same man that entered and met Link last time.

"Who is he?" He asked, directing his question at the owl Olly, although he had his eyes locked on Link.

"He is a customer" Olly said as he flew near the man. "Leave him be. The shop is a neutral zone, plus i never saw any emblem on the kid, he probably doesn't belong to any of the factions yet"

"Understood" The man said, then started walking away. "Get me …."

Although Link did not notice the man entering, he did feel his gaze on him which woke him up, hearing their conversation. "Factions?" Link thought to himself.
