Purple Star Fruit

In less than a minute the manager was called over. When he heard the staff telling him someone wanted to sell purple star fruits he was in disbelief.

It was so hard just to find these fruits, yet a lone person wanted to sell them. And a whole basket full!

Of course, he was interested in buying them. Plus they would make quite a profit if word was to get out that they were back in stock. They could even raise the price given that the fruits were so hard to obtain.

As the manager walked out from behind the counters he approached Yulin and asked her in a respectful tone if she wanted to sell the fruits.

Given that this person was selling such precious item, they were most likely from a noble household and it was better to be polite than offend them. The manager was careful in speaking and watched the way he talked.

Yulin responded and got straight to the point. She wanted to sell the fruit and if they were a trustable shop then she would continue to sell her items at there.

The manager was quite excited and it was shown all over his face. If they keep at it with this person, then their supply of star fruits wouldn't stop. He decided to be even more respectful to Yulin.

After Yulin and the manager of the shop finished their transaction he handed her the money inside a space ring. Usually when things like this carry out, money would be stored in a space ring. It was not uncommon.

"Thanks. Do come again when you have more fruits to sell, we will take as many as you have!"

"Next time I may also need more herbs. Any dead herbs you have I will take them all when I come again."

The manager was delighted and happily sent Yulin away.

'Now that that's out of the way I should go get something to eat.'

As Yulin walked out of the shop, she headed towards a street with little to no people in it. Of course, she had to be careful and make sure no one followed her. If someone was to follow her then it would be quite a problem and she didn't want to deal with that.

Even knowing that the shop was known for being trustworthy she still had to be careful of others who want to plot against her.

After her time spent doing those transactions she was now hungry. Yulin wanted to find a nice restaurant and enjoy her meal. This was her first time getting that huge amount of money so she was definitely excited on the inside.

Being that it was now evening, Yulin wanted to hurry up and be back home. She didn't want her parents worried.

But ever since they knew that she had been appearing in public, they were very happy for her. As they didn't want her stuck in the clan residence all her life.

These past few days they had been asking her maid where she was at and been keeping checks on her. Her personality had changed a lot too so they weren't as worried as they used to be.

Yulin headed towards the Peony restaurant. The food there is scrupulous. Of course, with the money she had now she could buy a lot food and she didn't need to be worried.

After selling just that one basket of purple star fruit, she made a big amount of money. The money amounted to a year of their clans income.

If her parents were to know, they would definitely faint!

She was quickly given a seat and made her order. After half an incense, her food was brought out along with wine. She was given the same seat when she had first went there.

She loved looking at the night sky so that seat was a perfect spot for her.

As it was getting dark already, the night sky was an amazing sight. It had only been a few days since she had arrived here and she was getting used to it.

'Everywhere I go, the sky looks the same. Even in my past life, it's as pretty as this.'

This wasn't a life she was expecting. She never would have thought she would get loving parents and siblings.

Even though she had decided to be happy and live a carefree life and love this new family, she felt a hint of loneliness.

There was a lot to be happy about but in her heart, a certain loneliness was present. It was just that she never had the time to acknowledge it and pushed it aside.

Even in her past life, she felt the same way. But give that she had a family and was the Empress, she had to put up a front.

While in her thoughts a familiar face was staring at her from outside the restaurant.

The servant looked at him and realized that something was off. His master said that he was stargazing yet he was staring at the person up in the restaurant for quite a while.

There was a tint of happiness when he stared at the person too. He had never seen his master look at someone like that before.
